Craftechs

Description of Work: We hired Craftechs for a major remodel our 1987 home. They removed an existing dated staircase and rebuilt a beautiful double staircase from the ground up. They completely moved the location of our powder room and also moved a toilet in our master bathroom into it's own private room. This process involved a lot of drywall installation and patching, hardwood floor patching, installation, sanding, and refinishing, new doors installed, including one pocket door, old doors removed and replaced with drywall, removal of old outdated trimwork, new trim installed, including wainscoting up the stairs, custom built-in shelving, HVAC re-location, a lot of plumbing work, not to mention painting of the entire space. They did all of this in 7 weeks! They were on the job at 8am every single week day and worked non-stop until 5pm. They were extremely neat and tidy, professional and courteous. Rick, the owner, handled every request with patience and a smile. He really listens to the homeowner and makes every effort to proceed with perfect craftsmanship. The materials used are top of the line and no shortcuts are ever used. His subcontractors are all the very best of their trade. The plumbing, HVAC crews, painters, drywallers, and hardwood floor specialists were all top-notch. His two main guys are amazing. What an eye for detail! Everything they created turned out 100% perfect and beyond our expectations. The 2 staircases including the treads, the ballusters and the railings, were all created and installed by Rick's team with absolute precision. The end result is breathtaking. There is nothing they cannot tackle! I wholeheartedly recommend Craftechs to anyone who is looking for a contractor to perform a remodel or renovation.
