It did not go well. It was problems from the beginning and when I companied or asked about completion dates I was lied to about when it would be completed and how it would be completed. When I finally started wanting some sort of schedule then there were "sudden" unexpected things that would set the project back although they had been thoroughly talked about before. When I would get Lowe's or the big bosses involved then everything would be okay for about two days and go right back to the same way it was. It was problems from the beginning. We were told 6-7 weeks for it to be completed and it took UP UNTIL JUNE, WHEN LOWES PULLED THEM OFF OF THE PROJECT AND GOT A WHOLE NEW COMPANY. DO NOT USE RENOVATIONS INC AND IF SOMEONE SAYS THEY'RE ARE BEING SUBCONTRACTED, RUN FOR YOUR LIFE!

There was no general building done by the GC. We did the demolition, debris removal and reconstruction ourselves for the kitchen area. Renovations was the best when it came to working with us in the work scheduling. They were unable to provide a bid for the electrical work as they had too many questions, so we hired the Electtrician. Reports for the Electrical work, Cabinet Installation Counter top installation and Plumbing have been written for those individual companies. During the job, the plumbing contractor either couldn't or wouldn't deliver an appliance. I can only surmise it was because it wasn't to be installed at that time, but the counter top contractor wanted it here to assure there would be no problem with the counter top installation. Doug Sigmon stepped up and delivered the appliance. When the cabinet installer walked off the job, Doug had our Project Manager come out and complete the installation of various panels, make the door and drawer face adjustments and replacements and take are of the hinge issues with three of the cabinets. The Project Manager was a pleasure to have in our home as he worked with us to make sure everything was as we wanted it and the main client for the kitchen, my wife, was satisfied when he was finished. When he needed a little help, he was grateful for it and we were glad to give it. The actual employees and management of Renovations are real team workers and aim to have satisfied customers in the end. We would recommend Renovations any time.
Description of Work: Renovations was the General Contractor that Lowe's provided in connection with our kitchen remodeling. They came to the house to determine the scope of work and then provided bids for various parts of the job to Lowe's for us to acceptor reject. During the job, Doug Sigmon, General Manager, provided interface with the sub-contractors, also Lowe's approved, when various issues arose. In the end, when the cabinet installer walked off the job, he also arranged for our Project Manager to complete the finish-up work on the cabinet installation. Separate reports have been issued for the sub-contractors and Lowe's so as not to reflect on Renovations.
