Description of Work: Tree house-we asked for solid flooring under the house structure, they used decking. Asked for the deck area to be knee braced, they didn't do it. Asked for them to use screws to make later disassembly easier, they used nails. |Back porch-one railing is loose, one post is misaligned, steps not level. |Workshop-generally fair, bulge in the foundation wall, passage door isn't plumb, large gap under sliding doors, the locking mechanism for the doors sticks into mud. The electrical part of the job was well done.

Description of Work: I met Floyd at the Home Show and gave him a rough idea of what we had in mind for a double car garage with a room on top. He gave me a rough estimate. Several days later we met, went over the job in detail and he made several cost saving suggestions. He stayed by his original estimate. He did what he said he would do, did it in a professional manner and satisfied my wife and I. Since then, we have hired him to replace our "Hugo" roof, and reside our house with prepainted ( his suggestion) Hardy Board. While doing this job we expaned his work to include replacing the columns on two entrances and replace the soffit and facia on our front entrance. During the job he expressed disappointment with the quality of workmanship we had received on replacement windows several years prior. He took it upon himself to fix the problems at no additional charge. We have also hired Floyd to change all interior and exterior doors, add an new outside entrance to our home, open up an entrance way in our dining room and completely remodel our master bath. My wife and I have recommended Floyd to several people and would not hesitate to do so in the future. With so many horror stories out there, it is refreshing to find a professional who does what he says he will do and does it in a friendly manner. We have no problem giving him the keys to our house while we are at work.

Description of Work: They saved our garage by rebuilding the side, adding electricity, roofing and guttering.
