PODS Moving and Storage

POD was delivered. Very clean unit. Courteous driver and fascinating process.

See above - quite well, getting expensive however. We only anticipated the need for about 2 mos. but it's been 5 already.

They were prompt, courteous and reliable. The price was reasonable for the services provided. We had a very positive experience.

The container was delivered on time and the driver was friendly. I am glad that I was at home because I used the website to place the order and he received the information wrong as to where to place the container and which direction the door should face. (street or house). There shouldn't have been any confusion, and I showed him my print out of the order. The container was clean in the inside and spacious. I had it for 4 months and everything I kept in there stayed dry and clean. We experienced some major rain storms during my rental agreement and everything stayed intact. Unfortunately so, I will not be using PODS again, because I contacted customer service to ask them why delivery to the location was $43.50 and pick up from the same location was $84.00. All he could tell me was and quot;that was on your contract agreement.and quot; There is a $50.00 cleaning fee IF it needs to be cleaned, but I guess PODS is going to get their cleaning fee no matter what with almost DOUBLE for pick-up fee. I really wanted to give PODS excellent marks all the way, but they spoiled it by doubling the pick up fee.

They come, they drop, they left on time and when they picked it up you don't even see anybody. There's not a lot of personal contact with them. They came and went when they said they would. The guy was nice when they delivered it and the phone calls were courteous.

We moved from Kansas to NC using 3 PODS. In Kansas and NC, the employees were professional and helpful. They gave us tips on packing the containers and made sure our containers were level (our driveway slanted downward). Our furniture was stored at their facility for 5 months. Everything was in perfect condition when we unpacked.

They are very convenient. The overall experience is excellent. The price and quality are excellent. I would use PODS again.

That was kind of cool and worked out really well for us. Price was it was a more reasonable alternative to getting a moving company. You pack them yourself, but they'll ship them wherever and store them for as long as you'd like. We had 2 PODS; they even worked with us with coordinating the drop off of them. They brought one, we unloaded, and they picked it up and brought the other POD. It helps if you're doing some distance. They were great.
