Melida's Cleaning Service

They are a very good cleaning service. They clean beautifully. They are very sweet and very nice.

Regina & Corrina were both very professional, trustworthy, & polite. They also did a very thorough job in cleaning, & got to my house in only a day's notice. I would recommend their service and will use them again in the future.

We found her on Angie's List. We've been using her services for 3 years now. She and the ladies who work for her are always very thorough in the cleaning that they do. They're very efficient. It's usually a group of 2 or 3 ladies that come in for 2 hours and they have cleaned my house from top to bottom. It's 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, dusting everything in sight from ceiling to floor, and they clean the baseboards every single time they come out, and that's a rare thing that I found over the years. They really do a good job, they're very efficient, and they arrive pretty much on time. They come and get everything done and they're out of your way which for me is terrific. For communication, most of the ladies who work for Melida are Spanish speaking and any of them has very limited English. There's usually one person in the crew that is relatively proficient with English. I usually have to identify that one and I'm lucky that both my children speak Spanish so if I can't communicate properly what I need through them, I can find my children to do so. The house still gets cleaned no matter what.

I found Melida through Angie's List about 8 months ago. I have used her service ever since. Melida sends 3-4 girls over at a time and they thoroughly and professionally clean my entire 4 bedroom home in about 1 1/2 hours. The girls are always on time, very pleasant and hard working. Because I work full time and my schedule is erratic, Melida is always flexible with me about times and dates. I love the way my house smells when they are finished. I am very pleased with this company

They do a really good job. Their scheduling needs to be improved, but the actually cleaning is very good. They are very thorough and they work hard until the job is done. I have no complaints with the cleaning the do.

I think Melinda and her team of 3 did a great job. My husband and I were really impressed about the attention to detail they had with everything. My husband loves walking barefooted on the hardwoods, but hates when his feet get dirty form just walking round the house. He really enjoyed himself tonight. My shower is the hardest to clean because it is completely tiled in, and they got all the mildew off and it is sparkling clean. I have company coming in from out of town, and I am proud to bring them into my clean home. I would recommend Melinda and her team to anyone looking for a cleaning lady/company.

I started with Melida in early January, and felt it was important to wait a few months before writing a review to give an accurate representation of the quality and consistency of service. With previous housekeepers in the past, it is common for the first few times to be excellent/good, and then the quality goes downhill. I've been thrilled that Melida's team has maintained excellent quality. They are prompt, professional (wearing white polo shirts), and very hard workers. I can't believe how fast they are, but they don't skimp on cleaning. Past cleaners always missed dusting the top of the toilet paper holders, but not Melida's team. The first time you use Melida, she charges extra (the one time) for doing a thorough scrubbing of the entire house. This is a normal practice in the housekeeping business, so I was not surprised when she brought it up. I was thrilled that they cleaned the moldings, doors, washed all my walls, and they continue to do this in subsequent cleanings. Melida interviews you to understand what type of cleaning products you want used on which surfaces. If you sensitive to chemicals like I am, she understands and tests that I am satisfied with her team's performance. Lastly, I try my best not to cause disruption, but two times I had to ask for a time/date change. I would understand if she was not always able to accommodate, but she managed somehow and I was fortunate to get my wish. I believe that Melida really tries to please her customers, and I would recommend her without hesitation.

We have been using Melida's Cleaning Service on a weekly basis since moving to Charlotte in early 2010. Melida and her team can always be counted on to do a thorough job and is exceptionally reliable. We are very happy with the value for the service provided and have had no issues at all over this three year period. We have been so happy with Melida's Cleaning service that we have referred several co-workers and friends who are new to town.

I engaged Melida's cleaning service to clean my house on a bi weekly basis. Her ladies show up on time and get right to work. They are always pleasant and professional. I have been using them for a few of months and it seems to be going well. The scheduling gets a little complicated as I like to get the job done while I am home. Melida works with me on doing the work when I am available, something I really appreciate.

I am using Melida's Cleaning Service for over 2 years now and want to write an additional review about her service. I needed her when I came out of the hospital, not able to take care of myself or cleaning the house at all. She and her crew did such an amazing job that I kept her service ever since and I do not regret it a bit. Her team is the most polite crew I ever meet. They are fast, very clean, see the little details in cleaning and just a pleasure to work with. If I am out of the country for weeks, I just call and let them know when I need a cleaning. They are flexible and if not,they try to make it work somehow to do their job and please me. Usually there are 2-4 girls coming into my house and they are so fast - I have a 2 story, 2,500 sft. house - they are done in 1 hour! Cleaning every bit of the house, from blinds, bathrooms to kitchen and floors. I love their service. Now that I am moving to Michigan I am so sad that I can't take them with me! But I hope their business will boom and I also recommended them to all to my neighbours. Finding someone who does know how to do their job and being trustworthy and very reliable is such a pain and hassle - but Melida's Cleaning Service is the diamond that I always was looking for!!!! We found Melinda's company through Angie's List about 3 years ago and have been with them ever since. I have an odd work schedule (night shift) and Melinda has been very considerate to work around my schedule.

I am surprised to see the response from Melida Cleaning Service. Talked about our reviews but what about your quality of work? Which have significantly declined. Leaving areas dirty and getting paid full??? Promise after promise but no improvment. Who have time to run after your employee after each service and beg them to complete the job the way it supposed to be. Yes you used to be "A" grade when you started but i would have give you "Z" if it existed on Angies list.

Called this company because of Angie's list recommendations. Melinda came to our house timely, provided her estimate on cost and spent much time explaining what her crew would do and what kind of cleaning agents would be used. The crew showed up on time and spent almost 4 hours cleaning and shining everything. The house looks so nice we hate to mess it up! Smells so fresh too. Have had construction done recently so house was very dusty, but it looks like new after she was finished. We were so impressed, we have hired her to clean twice each month.

I had work done on my home before moving in, and Malida's team did a very thorough job of cleaning my home so that I had a clean home to move into. I had her back last month, and now will have her come once a month. Her team does a great job, they are prompt, and provide their services at a reasonable rate. Melida has been cleaning my elderly father's home for a year. I have just had her deep clean mine, then she will clean it once a month. She is always very reponsive, punctual and professional. I would highly recommend her sevice.

I use Melida's company on a regular basis now. Her group comes every other week and do an amazing job when they come. We have a dog so I have to have a flexible cleaning schedule and Melida is extremely flexible when it comes to this.

OK- I am fussy- Melida and crew have been cleaning our house for 6 months. They do a phenomenal job and clean from top to bottom. She is very flexible, professional, hardworking, and honest. I would recommend 100%.

Not a good expereince for a cleaning service.

Melida's has been wonderful! One month ago they were out, and did a totally thorough house cleaning because I have been laid up a long time. They do an excellent job. They clean themselves right out the front door! They are doing the windows as they walk out the door. They are wonderful. I have already recommended Melida's. I am not sure about pricing, but I know they are much lower than in Florida. They have been a blessing for me.
