Description of Work: My ac unit was making a loud noise. The tech found that the fan blade on my condensing unit had failed. They initially responded very quickly and diagnosed the problem . However, I was frustrated that it took 2 days to get the part which, I would have thought should be readily available (its a fan blade for a unit thats only about 10 years old) and it wasn't until day 3 that it was finally sent out in the field for replacement. Also, I thought the price was a bit high for such a simple repair. It took them 5 mins to figure out what was wrong, and 10 minutes to actually replace the fan blade- the blade cost around 50.00 but after initial service call fee and replacement, my cost was around 320.00. I realize companies have to make a profit but the pricing seemed a bit high to me. Service was pretty slow too- I am so thankful the failure didn't happen in August when it's really hot!

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately this was not available locally, so it had to be shipped from the factory... which can be rather slow and costly. Because of airflow and efficiency, fan blades are very specific to the unit they are on and cannot nessesarily be substituted with a generic. I am happy that we now have a customer with cool air.Sorry that it took so long. Rob McClintock
