They had to reposition the air handler and heat pump in different locations. They were able to fit it into a tight space, so it worked for me. They pretty much did this custom installation to accommodate me, which I appreciated. I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

The first servicing went very well, but inadvertently a fan speed toggle was hit, and the fan for that unit was not performing up to speed. The service expert who figured out the problem was professional, knowledgeable, and kind. I appreciate the caliber of service the McClintock Company provides.

I had a wonderful experience. Wes arrived on time, and reviewed the inspection report prior to looking at each unit. He was very thorough and walked me through each step of the process, even letting me take pictures to show the buyers of my house. He was very practical and gave me a couple of do-it-yourself tips that saved me $150. I sent Wes's inspection report to the buyers, and, given the stellar Angie's List rating and good documentation they were satisfied (and i was happy) that nothing was wrong.

They are very good! I appreciated their service and thought they did very good on follow-up.

I think they had very prompt and friendly service and were very technically sound. I'm actually using them again today.

The gentleman that came was fantastic. He found some problems that other companies couldn't find or fix. The other company I called tried to sell me a new unit when I knew I didn't need one. The gentleman that came was here on time, went right to work and fixed the problem.

I emailed them on Saturday requesting that they come out on Monday to look at our A/C. We had no air since Friday afternoon and our thermostat had no display on it at all. I checked the breakers and they were okay. Rob emailed me back on Sunday and said they would have someone come out on Monday and he would have his dispatcher call me on Monday morning to arrange a time. The dispatcher promptly called me in the morning and said they probably wouldn't be able to come out before 2:00. I told her, as well as Rob, that my husband had a pre-op appointment at the hospital in the morning and we should be home by noon. I told her I would call her when we got home. We got home around 11:00 A.M. and I called her to let her know that we were home now and that they could come any time they were able to. She said that it probably wouldn't be until around 4:00 as he was working on a job and had another one ahead of us. Around 3:00, received a call that he had to go to another customer in the same area he was working in and wouldn't be at our house until 5:00. He finally did arrive at 5:00 promptly. He went to the inside thermostat and opened the cover and said immediately, "Here is your problem." The thermostat has two AA batteries inside it. He asked me if I had any new batteries. I gave them to him and after installing the batteries he turned the system on and it started right up. I wondered why when I had explained my problem earlier that I wasn't asked to take the cover off my thermostat to see if it was the kind that needed batteries. I think I know the answer to that question. He gave me a bill for $79.00. I had a coupon from Angie's List website but he said that I couldn't use it because it didn't apply to the diagnostic/visit charge, only to repairs that were done and he didn't do anything here.

Overall they did very good job. They were very prompt and professional. They Installed the Heater, A/C Heat pump to our 4000 square foot home. We had this work done last year and are pleased with the job they did.

They are cheaper than most companies. They are much more responsive. They are a great company. I really like this company. The people are friendly and nice. I would hire them in a minute.

Serviceman showed up when promised, diagnosed the problem, but didn't have the part on the truck. He traveled, at rush hour, to a warehouse and returned to replace the part on a Friday evening. He was very good natured and fixed the problem promptly.

I have never had anyone take so much time and detail while cleaning up my air conditioner and furnace. I felt really comfortable with them. They are on time when you make an appointment and very dependable. I was very surprised on how long they stayed. The work was done well and I feel it was feel quality work. The second time they came I had to leave the house and I left them there and felt as if they could trust them.

They are completely professional and brought me an A/C for my bedroom 'til the new one was installed.

We came home from vacation on Saturday and it was 90 degrees upstairs! Checked Angie's List for recommendation as we hadn't been thrilled with our last hvac contractors. Found McClintock & called on Saturday afternoon. The tech tried to talk my husband through a possible repair while he was on his way to another job (we were fifth in line at that point). It was a no-go, but the tech was clearly concerned and wanted to get us back on track asap, while admitting that it would probably be Sunday and there would definitely be a weekend surcharge involved. We said no problem, they gave us frequent updates on their progress through the evening on Saturday, had us up and running by noon on Sunday. We bought a maintenance program from them, and they've already been out to thoroughly check out our systems. We were really impressed with their professionalism. They're keepers!

They did a great job and were very helpful in sorting out what was worth doing and what wasn't.

The service technician let me watch as he was working. He fixed the cause of the problem rather than just replacing the defective part. They did a good job.

We lost our air conditioning over night. We called the company after work that day. They sent out a repair man the same day. They got the air up and running. The next day we had another problem. They came right back over and it turned out it was something small on our end. They fixed the problem and no other charge was given.

They were punctual, seemed knowledgeable (to a lay person), and performed service quickly even though it required multiple trips. Offered strategies to minimize potential cost, though in the end it did seem unnecessarily expensive - that may simply be the scope of the job. All in all, a good experience.

He came out after 5 pm and it took him maybe an hour. He was informative, knowledgeable and my husband really liked him. We were able to print off the coupon from the Angie's List website and it saved us $30.00.

I first e-mailed McClintock to be sure they serviced our area. I promptly received a telephone call confirming that they did. I asked about a service agreement and the company representative explained everything that was covered in the agreement and stated the price ($268.00 for two units). I was told that a technician lived in my area and I was able to make a "first of the day" appointment. The technician, Wes, arrived exactly on time and was very pleasant and personable. He spent about 2 and 1/2 hours checking out our units and adding some Freon to the upstairs unit. Of course the cost of the Freon was not included in the service agreement. Wes was considerate of our home and always took his shoes off when he came inside. He answered all of my questions and I was very pleased with his work.

I tried calling other places and couldn t get in contact with anyone. I contacted Mcclintock, and actually got in contact with a person. I was very pleased with this because I hate to leave messages. They checked to see what the problem was, provided an estimate, and fixed the problem right then and there. My husband said the worker was very knowledgeable and very friendly. They did a bang up job.

He just went in did a great job, very nice and courteous, very pleasant to talk to.

They are very personable, they did a good job on our line. I would definitely consider using them again without any problem. They are very pleasant and really let you know what's going on.

Great service. Added the refrigerant and advised us to run the system so that it could take out the humidity in the house. I could tell an immediate difference. Did not try to sell me anything else. I appreciate that he checked our thermostat; I learned it was off by 3 degrees.
