Very good experience with this company. Serviceman was very professional, on-time, and explained things well. He also gave me a call about a week later (after some colder weather) to make sure that everything was working okay and to see if we had any questions.

We are extremely pleased with the company and the work done. We could not have asked for a better result. They were very professional from the initial visit by Charles and proposal phase, through the scheduling and performace of work. I am sure this was not the easiest of jobs, but it was done well, neatly, and with great care. Since a number of the work days were rainy, they installed a temporary tent over the opening to the crawlspace and put down tarps to do as little tracking as possible to the lawn area. This is just an example of the extra care that we think make this a good company to deal with. Because of low headroom, they had to dig out some soil in the crawlspace for minimum clearance requirements, too. Upon completion, they had the work inspected as required, and of course it passed. Before we began the work, we reviewed a number of companys and the services they provided. Our intention was to find the company that we would continue to have an ongoing business relationship with. We are very pleased with McClintock and intend to continue to use them as our heating and air conditioning professionals.

The quality of their work was good. I will use them again in the future.

James called 15 minutes ahead as promised and was right on time. He discovered the problem was the pilot light nozzle and attempted to clean off the corrosion prior to deciding to replace it. He drove back to the company, trying to find the nozzle, but the furnace is so old he had to buy the whole kit. In other words, he tried every step of the way to save me money and do it the most inexpensive way. James installed the kit, cleaned the old cast-iron burners and spent much more time than a usual furnace service job would require. I was charged only the quoted service charge and the cost of the kit. I was amazed at the professionalism, and the excellent service for the price. This was at my mother's house. Two days later we had Robert, from McClintock, service our furnace. He was prompt, knowledgeable and professional. He suggested I insulate a section of ductwork and showed me how to lift it off the ground, where it could corrode. He also checked our air conditioning unit. We were able to use a $20 Angie's List coupon, so that the cost was only $109.00. We were very happy with both James and Robert. They were both very nice and very professional. In addition to the great work both of them had done, we received an email from Stacie Fisher who happened to notice a AAA membership confirmation printed out on the reverse of the coupon we had given to Robert. She scanned it and emailed it to us, just in case we had inadvertently printed the coupon on it and might need it for our files. So nice dealing with caring individuals like that. We would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for an honest, trustworthy, caring, competent and professional company to service their heating or air conditiong needs.

They were great. They were nice people to work with and approachable. They did a great job and they cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend them.

He did a good job and was informative. He recommended the service of finding the leak (and extra $249), but did not try to oversell it at all. He and I both agreed that it would probably be better not to do it because the unit is so old it may not be worth it. He also let me know that the freon we use in this unit is going to be discontinued Jan 2010 and therefore the price of it will skyrocket. That was very helpful information for us because at least we can be prepared and not have to make a hasty decision when the time comes to fix the unit again.

They are consistant and trust worthy. They make me aware of the problems that I am already familiar with. When they came in and identified the problem I was already aware of it, and they haven't tried to push any products on me that I don't need.

THe sales guy was great he met me right away. He and his sales coordinator kept in constant contact with me. They got back to me on all questions I had promptly. The workmen showed up on time did the work in the timeframe specified and most importantly they did not trash my house as other contractors have done. Everyone I dealt with at this company was highly respectful an highly professional. I still have to get over the fact how much these things cost and the fact that they don't last 25 years like your parent's house, but the system they installed is excellent and the thermostat is straight up Star Trek with options and features.

I had a new outside air conditioning unit installed and a new dual fuel pump put in on an existing heating unit. They did a good job. However, I had to push for some good client management. Ultimately they came through but not before some prodding from me to give me discounts. I am a service maintenance customer with them. I had to work too much to get what I thought was a fair deal.

They were excellent and were very prompt. They were very courteous and very informative when they diagnosed the problem. The also gave us a detailed receipt for what they did and one year guarantee. I would use them again if need be.

The team was professional and helpful from the beginning through final inspection. The service technician competently answered questions prior to the decision to go forward, the sales team was knowledgeable and thorough, and the installation team was efficient. The whole process went very smoothly. McClintock personnel were always on time and effectively communicated their arrival times well in advance. The provision of window AC units during the installation was an added bonus that helped keep things comfortable until the job was completed.

The entire experience was great. Charles, the sales representative, was extremely helpful and more importantly, not overbearing. He walked me through all of the options available and assisted in finding a system within my budget. He also offered to loan me a window unit until the new unit could be installed. He set up a meeting with the installation supervisor to ensure the unit would be sufficient for my house and Brian walked me through the installation process. I was not home during the first day, but was impressed with neatness of the work which had been done. The crew was faced with the task of working during the hottest days of the year in a very tight crawl space and had to excavate a large amount of dirt in order for the new coils and furnace to fit. They placed the extra dirt along the edge of the fence and they also built a new door to the crawl space (which was greatly appreciated). During the second day of installation there was an issue with the unit cycling off and they worked diligently to find the cause. They stayed late to ensure the unit was working properly and that I understood how to use the new system. They were extremely professional and courteous. I highly recommend the company ? the sales and installation people are great as are the service technicians, who kept my old a/c and furnace running much longer than I ever imagined possible. And the office team has been very helpful in walking me through the rebate paperwork.

Outdoor unit of heat pump had quit working. They were able to get someone out a little sooner than projected which was good for me. Overall good experience. the technician appeared knowledgable, presented himself well, and represented his company well. Simple straight forward experience and they did not try to sell me extra stuff. Will definitely call again. Cost was reduced from estimate because I had Angies List coupon.

Excellent-From the sales all the way through to a post-installation follow up. Our AC had gone out and within 24 hours our sales rep brought over a window AC unit that was very helpful through the down time and installation. The installation date was quickly set up despite a very hectic summer and schedule for the company. Once the installation team arrived, they took the time to explain to me how the two days of installation would go, what they would be doing, etc. During the installation, the owner as well as the team's manager showed up to ensure all was going well. All went well (on the last day during clean-up, one of the gentlemen stepped through the ceiling. That didn't surprise me as the attic space had very little flooring. I was surprised that they hadn't up to that point. Once it happened I received a call from their supervisor and he was very very apologetic and had already made arrangements to have it fixed. I opted to fix it myself and we worked out a reduction in the cost of the installation). I added the comments about the ceiling issue not to make anyone worry about their craftsmanship but to rather demonstrate the excellent, professional, and quick responsiveness that the company provided as a result of an unfortunate situation. Finally, I had some confusion about the capabilities of the new system. After talking to the installation team and reading the instruction book, I had some questions. Charles, our Sales Rep, and I discussed and within 24 hours I received a call back to schedule a courtesy check. James was dispatched and was unbelievably patient and thorough. He took the time to explain to me how various settings would impact humidity in the house, energy usage, etc. It was great.

This company is the best. I have used them on several times and I am never disappointed. We moved into a home and noticed the interior condensation line was dripping wet and the exterior unit fan ran constantly. I made an appointment with Tassie (who is always pleasant) for an 8 AM appointment. Wes was on time and so polite and professional. He fixed the items and explained to me in detail what he did and why the problems were occurring. I have so much confidence in this company that I entered into a service agreement. With this agreement they will check and service the unit twice a year. Don't look anywhere else...use this company if you are looking for top notch service.

The sales rep quoted me exactly what I asked for and offered some possible upgrades. The first day of the job I think everyone in the company stopped by :-) The two mechanics were polite and did a very good job. I worked in construction for many years and I have rarely seen such a professional installation in a residence. Great work.

I contacted McClintock when my upstairs air conditioner failed in May. A sales rep was able to meet with me the day I called. During my meeting with the sale rep, Patrick, I discussed how certain rooms were warmer than others during the summer due to equipment that generates heat in one room and the remote location of another. Patrick suggested installing a zoning system to allow the temperature to be adjusted differently in each room. This solution is perfect! The crew who installed the system were very careful to keep my house clean and dent free despite having to carry large pieces of the system into the attic. Rob McClintock, the owner, was very involved and took a lot of time to ensure that the airflow is even and quiet. This included replacing most of the existing duct work in my house. The installation in the attic and outside look fantastic. I am extremely pleased and will use McClintock when my lower unit needs to be replaced.

The sales representative was very punctual and thorough. He made sure to explain things well. He gave us plenty of time to consider our options. He even came out when the installation crew came out to make sure that we were not going to have any problems. I like that they sent out a foreman just to make sure that everything was going smoothly. My wife and I were both impressed by them. They did a great job.

I thought they were more interested in the service contract, than in my intial request. This was surprising because it was on Angie's List monthly.

First I have to say that I have worked with McClintock before and each time I am more impressed with the techinican then send. This time they sent a technician named Kevin who was not only professional but also very informative. He was clean, efficient and took the time to explain was needed to be done and explained what might arise in the future. At no point did I ever feel pressured to buy any further services that I contacted them in the first place. If you are looking for a company for your AC/heating needs there is no need to look further.....its McClintock. Hats off to you for working in my 110 degree attic.

They are responsive, highly skilled, professional, ethical, and trustworthy (left them alone in my house). They covered the carpet and left everything tidy/clean. They honored the coupon on Angie's List after I brought it to their attention when the initial contract was drafted. They are smart enough to only install high quality/reliable products, such as Trane.

I have had a good experience with them. They have always done a good job.
