I had researched HVAC companies by checking out areas suggested by an ex-neighbor who had a HVAC. For example we had a gas pack installed which is a combination heat pump and gas furnace in one unit and one very important area I checked on with the companies making bids was how long would it take to install and using how many men. The low bid was going to use a two man crew for two days or 32 man hours where McClintock took 4 days with a two man crew with one extra person one of those days or 72 man hours. Even though my neighbor had already told me the quality of the install was the most important part of a new HVAC system it is easy to see from the time put in vs the low bid that MCClintock allotted enough man hours to do the job right. The install crew was very professional and the lead installer was both NATE certified and had long experience doing installs. The owner himself even came the first day to check and introduce himself a nice touch! I would recommend highly.

Our A/C unit was underperforming and we called McClintock. Even though they were extremely busy and backed up, they were able to send out a technician within hours; diagnose the issue and make the repairs. They were also forthright enough to notify us that the system was actually still under warranty and they didn't charge a dime. We were extremely pleased with their responsiveness, courtesy on the phone and honesty. We have used them on our former house and now this house and will continue to use them.

We woke up on a 99 degree forecast day (in a week of 99-100 degree temperatures) to no AC upstairs in our home. I called McClintock and they were able to send a technician the same day (even with what I know had to be heavy volume of calls). Chris was very friendly, courteous and professional. He worked quickly to diagnose and fix the problem. He also recommended some future service which might extend the life of our units, which we plan to call and schedule with McClintock. We would certainly recommend McClintock and Chris to anyone looking for AC service/repair.

I am a new service customer, and I was very pleased with both the initial preventative service call and a subsequent visit to replace a leaking evaporator coil. Service Technician Andy Graham did an excellent job. He conducted the work efficiently and thoroughly . He was well equipped with the proper tools and skills to assess system performance, answered my questions patiently, gave appropriate guidance on what to watch out for as a home owner in between service calls, and he was cheerful throughout the process under tough conditions (100+ degrees in the attic on a Saturday). The quote process was very clear, well-documented, and the invoicing and payment transactions were very well-organized. I dealt with Kathy for scheduling, and was very pleased with her support as well. This is what you want from a service provider: skilled technicians, reliable advice on options for addressing the problem, and good follow through and attention to detail in scheduling and delivering the necessary work.

The technician was Chris who was very professional from begining to end. Chris did an extremely thorough job of cleaning the outside unit and explaining every question I had, and I had a few since this was the first time I used them for my AC. Chris was very particular of the settings and did not just rush through the call. I really appreciate the time he spent and would be very happy if he did my next service. I am a little tough on service companies since my expectations are usuaaly high but McClintock has met them and I will use them again this fall. Thank you

Perfect. The install team arrived on time were clean, polite and professional. They informed me what the would do on day one and what would take place on day two. My air handler is in the attic in a very small place and they removed the old one and installed the new one without a hitch. They cleaned everything up and took all the old equipment and packaging away with them. I have been using Mc Clintock for about 7 years for preventive maintenance and everyone in the company that I have had contact with was a pleasure to do business with. The girls in the office are on top of EVERYTHING and are always polite and professional. I won't go elsewhere.

From the initial call to the actual service, the McClintock team helped me feel confident in their abilities and comfortable placing the maintenance of this expensive and necessary system in their capable hands. Chris, our technician, was freaking awesome! As a new homeowner in the area, not familiar with the type of system in this home, Chris educated me on the maintenance of the machine, parts, what to look for, what I should be doing, where the filter locations are, sizes and spec recommendations, as well as HOW to replace them. He was incredibly helpful.

They do an excellent job. The cost of the last service was actually zero because we have a yearly plan. We paid the first service. That's for winter service and spring service. So this one, we didn't owe anything. Just one worker come out. I think one time we might have had two. They're always very nice, very polite, courteous and just good people. They're prompt every time. They call and give you a window and then they call when they finish the one before. So, you know pretty much exactly when they're going to get there. They left the area clean. They wear shoe coverings. They're very respectful of where they are.

After researching HVAC companies on Angie's List, I called McClintock Heating & Cooling to purchase a maintenance agreement for my air conditioner and heating system. They had a special promotion advertised on Angie's List for a 7 day touch screen programmable thermostat so I purchased that as well. Chris Abernethy, Service Technician, arrived on time. Since I am in a Condo building, he advised that my charge would be a little higher than what I was quoted because my building was considered Commercial. After he located the unit, he contacted his office and was able to classify the building as residential since the units were not located on the roof. I greatly appreciate the fact that he took the time to do this. Chris is very knowledgeable and professional in his work. He answered all question that I had and walked me through the process for the new thermostat. He wore shoe covers in my home and I really appreciated that. Chris provided me with OUTSTANDING customer service from the time he walked in until the time he left. I will definitely be using McClintock Heating & Cooling and requesting Chris for all my future needs. Job well done! Thank you!

My problem has been going on for 2-1/2 years and it is something that my previous company could not correct. They went and looked up on the roof to see what the problem was. The price was fair.

A/C thermostat would not engage during a really hot week. They did a great job of making everything right!

They have been coming out for about three years now and have been awesome! When your maintenance is coming due, they will email you a reminder with a calendar of their open times for appointments. The have been very forthright. They will explain your options, but they will not push any work that doesn’t need to be done for the unit to continue operating. I have never had any problems with them.

They were great, honest pricing although a little high, but they took their time and did a good job.

The provider, Devin, provided excellent service inspecting the Heater and cleaning the electronic filters. He walked me through all of the steps of doing the cleaning when needed. Very friendly and informative.

They are prompt, they are reasonable and their technician seem to really know their stuff. They are absolutely there on with their estimates and whatever they say is wrong is what's wrong.

Technician, Steven MacMillan, was very professional and thorough, explaining the process as he went along.

They were efficient. They don’t tell you something needs done if it doesn’t. They are not always trying to sell you something.

This went very well. They were very prompt. Just one person came to do the work and it took a couple of days. They take their time look for alternatives which turned into a heat pump system tied into and old water system. We are pleased with this and it has worked well this winter.
