Description of Work: We have an annual contract with McClintock to inspect and clean the heat and air systems biannually. They also change the filters when they come. They have done an excellent job, are on time, and are very courteous. Through the years, we have discovered that we avoid major repairs/replacements by having routine service. Most recently, Tommy did our service and he was very professional.

Description of Work: soliciting Service Agreement options by email through A's List. McClintock responded as expected from a company with such high marks & ratings on AL. Quick response, good information, professional, and competitively priced.

Description of Work: We had been told on Monday, when we had our furnaces serviced, that we needed to replace our second floor air conditioner. We did notice a leak in the ceiling below this particular unit. However, we were skeptical as to whether we needed to replace the entire unit for around $3,500. I found McClintock on Angie's List, called them, and asked for a second opinion. James came out, found a broken drain fitting (at the coil), and fixed it. The drain pan was also positioned in such a way that it would overflow, and not drain properly. He is going to replace the drain pan with a plastic one, which will not rust (like the old one has). Additionally, I had also noticed that since our service on Monday, the air conditioning in our master bedroom did not cool. I asked James if he could check this. He found that the thermostat wire was not connected. I am very happy with the outcome of McClintock's visit, liked everyone I dealt with, and will be changing to their company for my service and repairs. I am hard to impress, but they get all gold stars from me!!

Description of Work: Drain pipe repaired incorrectly 3 times by another company -- they fixed it correctly in 90 minutes.

Description of Work: Had to purchase entire new unit. They let us borrow 3 widow units, since it was two weeks until work could be performed. Technicians took their time to do it right. Cut out 5 large sheetrock holes in the wall, but I guess they didn't have a choice.

Description of Work: I needed a quote for repairing or replacing my A/C. I called 5 companies all from Angie's List. This would have been the company I would have went with if they had same as cash financing for a year. I was able to get that from the company I went with through Home Depot. Charles Gravely gave a lot information the other companies did not. His pricing was in line with the others.

Description of Work: On January 20, 2006, they replaced the old 20 x 20 return grill. The old one half hinged properly all this time and through the years of dog dander was dirty enough to come clean only via sonic washing (or something). The new one is really white, clean, pretty, and latches perfectly.
