JT's Drain Service & Plumbing Repairs

There has been a leak in my front yard since October 2022. This company came out four different times at the request of my townhome Hoa. The leak was not properly fixed and it was eventually explained to me that the entire line needed replacing. This line runs infront of my home and 5 others. A “new” line was put in in August 2023. Four months later, the leak returned but only in my yard. I asked my management company to follow up with the plumbing company and inquire how they would stand behind their work. It is now April and nothing has been done. Water has been wasted for over two years. The management company is partly to blame but hey did pay for a service to be done correctly. My front yard has been torn up four times. Currently it is a wet and muddy mess. I cannot move forward with planting sod or any type of landscaping until the leak is repaired.

Mr. Lee is excellent to work with. He explained on the consultation visit what was needed and the cost for same. He arrived only a few days later to remove and replace the 15 year old water heater. Mr. Lee and his assistant are professional, courteous and prompt which we all appreciate as consumers. I would highly recommend JT Drain for this type of project althought I understand that this company does much more than drains, plumbing and water heaters. I got multiple quotes from companies on Angie's List. Of the various people to come out on that Wednesday, Walter was my favorite. I really liked and trusted him and he was the low bidder on the job ($800) so I hired him. That's when the problems began. He had originally stated that he could start the work the following Monday. I called to confirm but got his voicemail and left a message for him to call back. I called him twice on Friday and again over the weekend, leaving voicemails each time but never reached him. I called him Monday morning to make sure he was coming. He told me he had lost my phone number and that he couldn't come that day because he needed to take his son to get his asthma shot. We rescheduled for Wed. and he was to be at my house by 10. Wed. at 10 he called to say he was picking up the equipment and would be at my house soon. At 11 he called to say he wasn't going to do the job as he isn't licensed and could lose his company if caught doing the job.

Walter gave me a fair, honest estimate. He did not try to load excess fees and charges into the price. He and his employee were courteous, knowledgeable efficient. They were on time. I was happy with the entire job.

The company responded to our water "emergencies" with great speed. We had our main water line break on a Sunday and Walter was there within hours to repair it. He is always prompt and efficient. We have been very pleased with the level of service, quality of work and the cost involved. The company (Walter specifically) is honest and has given us all the options when dealing with a plumbing problem. We have been incredibly happy with him and we will continue to use the company for any and all future plumbing issues.
