Description of Work: It went very well. The electrician was prompt and very polite and efficient. He did was was asked and I was happy with this service.

Description of Work: The young man did an excellent job of not only correcting the problem but also explaining to me what he did & why. He also checked out some parts connected to the area he worked . I appreciate my membership with Angie's List.

Description of Work: David, from Gowdy Electric, put in a new light fixture over the sink in my bathroom and checked for shorts in the wiring. He worked on and repaired the light fixture in my pantry. Also gave me advice and an estimate for an outside electrical outlet. David was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. When I am ready for another project I will call Gowdy.

Description of Work: They replaced a GFI outlet in the bathroom and checked some other outlets that were not working. Most of the outlets that were not working were just tripped and had to be reset. The electrician was supposed to arrive between noon and 1. He called at 10 minutes to 1pm to say he would be 10 minutes late. He did arrive at 1:10 and apologized for being late.

Description of Work: I never received my call from them. I had to call them only to be told they no longer did the electrical work I was in search of. Their dispatcher was very nice and courteous, though.

Description of Work: Checked a breaker problem. Turned out to be a device problem which they could not solve.

Description of Work: An electrician came to install a TV on the wall. I was not here when the job was done due to a family emergency but my husband was. Upon my return I was not satisfied with how the TV was installed on the wall and I called Gowdy Electric and the division manager Chad came to make the correction. Chad did a fantastic job and he did the job just the way I wanted it.

Description of Work: Thought the deal was a good price but received a better quote from another vendor for almost 50% less. The company however was very responsive.

Description of Work: Installed outlet and light in crawl space. It went well.

Description of Work: Came out and gave an estimate on several projects we had in mind. We ended up doing two of the projects right away and need materials for two others. We had them replace/install three new pendant lights over the kitchen island. The second project involved bringing up electricity to and installing two sconce lights in a first floor dining room. The drywall had to be cut and repaired. All projects were done in a timely manner and turned out beautifully!!

Description of Work: Rewired main panel, fixed a few outlets, and replaced a shorted ceiling fan with light. Technician was responsive and professional. Very Satisfied with speed of diagnosis and work was well performed. Would definitely use again!

Description of Work: I believe this co. replaced a very old bathroom fan. They did a good job, worked well, but their cleanup wasn't as good as I would have liked.

Description of Work: Replaced censor light on porch, replaced fixture in closet, replaced fixture in kitchen ceiling, plus talked about wiring a shed and installing censor light on shed. All went very well and I'm very happy with the work done.
