Description of Work: He installed a kitchen light fixture. We have been having alot of electrical issues so we took advantage of an angies list deal.

Description of Work: Jason replaced a bad switch in master bath and added 2 GFI's in kitchen to meet code. I didn't know the latter was an issue and since I'm planning on selling this summer, I'm grateful he brought this to my attention. He had to make a special trip to Lowe's to get the replaced items in almond color. I purchased a deal for $125. for one hour of labor and all work was performed within that time frame. The only add'l cost was for the custom color parts he purchased.

Description of Work: Poor communication within this company became an issue. However, when given the chance to provide a remedy, the company came through with excellent customer service. | |I purchased an hour of time to begin electrical work on a kitchen renovation, which I noted in the order request. The electrician who arrived was not aware of the request, and advised us that working piecemeal would become very expensive. He suggested that we get a quote for the whole job for a better rate, and offered to use his hour with us taking notes and photos, from which his office would create a quote by the next day. We agreed, but the quote never came. | |I inquired with the office. The rep answered that the deal we bought was not applicable for creating a quote, and wished us good luck on the project. That was disappointing--$125 for a good luck wish! I explained briefly (to no response), and then a second time in great detail, exactly how the service call had gone. I asked the office to suggest a remedy. The rep apologized and offered to send another electrician out to satisfy the terms of the deal--an hour's worth of small electrical work. | |The second electrician was able to work on a couple small projects that were less urgent than the kitchen, but which satisfied the 1-hour deal. | |I was satisfied with the electrical work and happy that the company offered a "do-over." I rated them a C on responsiveness because it took quite a bit of effort to engage the company rep. I answered "no" to hiring them again because I found a local master electrician (Patriot's) who both quoted and then finished the kitchen renovation work before Gowdy even responded to my emails.

Description of Work: We live in an old house- had issues with two fixtures and many receptacles- Electrician came in- worked very hard, very personable, got the jobs done in good time- felt like he was very aware of cost and tired to maximize his time. Would definitely use them again.
