Excellent, very professional experience. Ashley set the appointment and even confirmed with a follow-up call. Danny showed up and I walked him through my home repairs. Danny confirmed all my parts were within code. He ran into the same odd connectivity issue that caused the connection to fail. He troubleshot the issue and found the bad builder connection. Once he confirmed, he reinstalled the main light switch which cause the connection to drop. He went back into the wire rat nest and fixed the loose connection. After he completed the repairs and we confirmed the connection was live he even offered to help me install the fan. I purchased an hour and only needed about 20 minutes but I was very happy with the willingness to use the whole hour but just didn't need it .... Overall, great experience and will definitely call on them when I have electrical issues in the future.

They are a CUT ABOVE on attitude, helpful ness and ability to do a good job on a wide variety of electrical needs The awesome gentlemen I had was named DANNY and he as the best of the best. As they charged by the HOUR not the job---he worked fast and good.. so I would always ask for Danny... as that is HONESTY to me.... Please share that with Gowdy

They recommended a solution, with an estimate that provided pictures of the areas in need of repair. They came out to do the repairs on time and on budget. Both their technicians and their main office personnel were great to work with. We would definitely recommend Gowdy Electric to anyone. Our experience was outstanding.

Fixed the problem and noticed something else that needed fixing. Everything fell under the deal I bought on AL. Would definitely use again.

We received a prompt response and appointment when we called the office. The electrician (Jason) arrived right on time and offered a cost effective solution for our kitchen lighting. Very pleased with the service and overall experience.

I called Gowdy Electric on January 3, late in the day. I was told that Chad would call me the next day. The next day I didn't hear from him, so I called Gowdy after noon and was told that he would be given another message to call me. Chad called a couple of hours later and said he was given the wrong area code in the first message to call me. (That is a new excuse!) He said he would be here the next day around noon. I asked if he could come closer to 10:00, since I had to leave by 10:30 and would not be back till afternoon. He said he would be here by 9:30. He did not show up. He did not call. Rather than wasting more of my time and getting another silly excuse for why he didn't show up, I called another electrician. Chad and Gowdy are apparently not interested in new business or getting a good review.

Great. Everything was done quickly and efficiently.

Jason discovered the problem was a bad socket in the light. Due to the type of pendant light, the socket was unable to be replaced. He suggested that I could get new wiring replacements for all three lights and therefore the pendants would be uniform. Jason went to Lowe's after I agreed his idea was a good one. He also bought new candelabra lights to replace the LED's that were in there before. He explained how the LED's burn so much hotter than the other. This was why the socket burned out in the first place. He did an excellent job fixing the problem. Jason was very pleasant and professional. He did a great job explaining what he was doing every step of the way. I was also impressed that he went out of his way to get what was needed to fix the problem. Whenever I need any electrical work done in the future, I will definitely call Gowdy Electric.

Technician was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. Discussed other items we wanted done and he said an estimator would contact us for a quote. Never heard back after 2 weeks and contacted office. Was told they would check on it and they never contacted us back. Guess they don't need the business so we will find someone else

His work was excellent, he wasn't the cheapest, but it was worth the extra money to have him do the job. When he added the recessed lighting I didn't like the cylinders that he used in the ceiling that hold the lights, he said there was snother style and swapped them out, no argument, no attitude, he wanted to make us happy. Several days after he completed the work, we had a problem with the outdoor light, he replaced it, no argument, no attitude, he scheduled a time to replace it and showed up on time.

So I went on Angie’s List and found Gowdy Electric. I had a good customer service call to set an appointment. The technician could come first thing 2 business days out, and they arrived on time, calling ahead to let me know their exact arrival. All the outlets on the circuit were opened up an examined. Various trouble shooting tools were used and once the faulty outlet was confirmed a proper one per code was installed. Afterwards, all outlets were checked again and were functioning properly. Then each outlet was placed back, cover plates put on and all areas where work was done were cleaned up.

Arrived right on-time and completed work. Was very polite and professional.Could not have been any better service

It was only a tripped fuse; Electrician offered to check crawl space to see if any electrical issues there since the problem was fixed so easily. I appreciated him doing that.

They came, they saw, they fixed it.

great service and easy to work with . we set an appointment, but I had to change it to a later date . the electrician went right to work checking the 3 or 4 outlets with problems . he showed me the problems that he corrected and explained what had happened . very efficient and finished in short amount of time. I was prepared to hear that more extensive work had to be done . the technician said everything in the outlets was ok now and did not advise additional work. this was a surprise ! no pressure to do extra work.

Poorly. After 24 hours, they never contacted me to schedule. So I canceled the offer and asked for a refund.

The Electrician handled everything efficiently and professionally. Electrician recommended that I connect Treadmill to a Wall plug in the Garage which I did.
