I want to tell everyone I know about this company. I have never been treated with so much respect as these guys from this company treated us with. I can talk all day long about the absolute amazing craftsmanship from these guys. I was and still am so happy that I can t wait until they do our next projects that we have coming up. I can say with out hesitation that nobody but this company will ever do work on my home again. I must have told almost 50 people about the work they did on our deck. I had other quotes and no one else even came close. The main boss made sure that he checked on everything himself to make sure everything was done to his satisfaction. He even tore away the old bricks that he said probably would have fallen apart within 6 months after building on them. We had other companies that wanted to build over the old bricks.

This is a reliable company. I had a small leak in that area after it was built and they came out to fix the problem immediately. Their prices were pretty reasonable and aside from that one very minor problem, their work was completely accurate. They are an A plus company in all respects. I feel like a satisfied customer.

When the work was completed, I was very well satisfied. I found a great company. Exterior Additions did a great job, and I would use them again in a heartbeat. Since the work was completed, I have received so many compliments. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone!

We are very happy with the deck that was constructed for us. After shopping price, I found them to be absolutely the best overall. One company wanted a lot more money and was not going to get rid of the old steps for us. The craftsmanship of these guys I think was unbeatable. They did a fantastic job and we have had no complaints at all with them. It was a great experience dealing with such polite people.

The guys from this company were not very punctual. There were actual days that they did not even call us to let us know that they were not going to come out that day. We would call them and they were very good about calling us right back. The actual job did not get started until about a month after it was supposed to start. Once they finally got into the project, everything started going much better. They were on time and their final product was beautiful. We had only one real problem. Every time it would rain, it would leak between the new roof and the actual house. It took them four different times to come out to fix it right. Each time they were really very friendly and polite. They just kept having a problem with sealing up that one little spot. After all of this, we would still use their services again.

In terms, of punctuality I thought the job could have been done in a timelier manner. They were not always there when they said they would be. The work they did though was excellent and I am very satisfied with the job they did.

We were quite satisfied customers while we were using this company. They hire skilled employees who are masters of their trade. The prices are reasonable. I have been impressed with how sturdy our new deck is. I feel quite comfortable telling others that this company is one that will go out of their way to make sure you are happy in the end.

When this company came to our home, they were very impressive. I have been used as a reference for them on several occasions because I am so thrilled with the work they did. They really put so much detail into the work and made sure to stay within our budget. This company is reliable and dependable.

We had this company come highly recommended to us. We did get a few quotes and found this company to have one of the best prices that we had received. They worked very quickly. They had the job done easily by the time they said they would have it. These guys were very friendly. Their overall craftsmanship was amazing. They made no mistakes. We have had a lot of people compliment us on our deck. We recommend them to other people every chance we get.

I am very happy with everything. The deck looks beautiful and I could not have asked for more friendly workers to have build it for me. They were very nice people. They worked quickly and the best part of all, they cleaned up as they went along. When the project was finished, there was nothing really left for me to do. I would say that I am pleased with the outcome.

I would say that the company was okay in certain areas of the project. When the project started they were working very quickly. They there started to be delays and the company slowed sown with the progress. The electrical aspect of things were not done in a timely fashion either which delayed me being able to put in my hot tub. They were reluctant to finish the project and I was not pleased with that aspect of things.

The job was done to our satisfaction and the finished product was excellent. The workers were very skilled and knew what they were doing. The project was not completed in the scheduled time frame, but it was due to personal problems and they gave us advance notice.

The guys were great and listened to what we had to say. We were always able to get a hold of them when we needed to. Everything was done in a timely manner and we have already recommended them to several other people.

Their work was outstanding. I was very happy with the service. They were timely, professional and knowledgeable. I am pleased with both the porch and the deck. We enjoy them very much. I would recommend them to others.

I think Doug the owner is a nice, personable guy. We were really pleased with the work his company did. We are buying a new home and he will be doing the same sunroom for us over at the new house. We really enjoy our sunroom. It is a real quality space that he made and is comfortable to use year round.

At the last minute, after rescheduling multiple times, we found out we were going to be relocated out-of-state and canceled the work. Even though Doug had purchased a substantial amount of the materials, he did not try to charge us for anything above and beyond the $1,500 deposit. Going further, Doug even refunded half of our deposit even though our contract CLEARLY stated the deposit was non-refundable. Doug was nothing less than a true professional throughout this entire process, even after having to cancel the work. I cannot tell you how impressed we were with Exterior Additions!

I thought they were all good people. They did a superb job on the construction. It gets used often and has held up in tact. He used very solid woods and heavy duty screens. I can't say a thing bad about the crew or the finished project. They got in and got the job done as they did not waste time or money.

What started out a few years ago as wanting a screened in porch turned into a major addition. We had an architect draw up plans and starting late Jan. 2006 solicited contractors to extend the entire back of our brick ranch 12'. Doug Lynch, Exteriors Additions, presentation was not only thorough, it was informative. After studying the plans, Doug suggested a half bath (that the architect did not think would work), full length quad windows in the new dining area and a tankless hot water heater. He also designed a larger 16' gabled porch off the dining area that compliments the screened porch. Doug co-ordinated the new roof line, 7000+ bricks, all utilities being moved to side of house, relocating the laundry room, hardwood floors, new kitchen cabinets, HVAC & architectural shingles. All the workers were cordial and hardworking. Everyday nails & debris were picked up & staged in one location & picked up regularly picked up. We are very proud of our new addition.

This company is fantastic! Nobody's perfect, but they come pretty close. Our deck and porch look beautiful. Doug Lynch gave us design tips that we did not think of, and the results were amazing. Every part of the construction was executed on time with the highest quality of workmanship. We were amazed at the precise measurements that the carpenter used to work around gas lines, existing support structures, etc. He was truly an artist at carpentry. Doug responded immediately on every concern that we had, which were few in number. I can't say enough good things about this company - the absolute best deck builder in North Carolina.

Marc asked if he could come out on Monday instead as he was in traffic and it was Friday afternoon after all (now 5 excuses total in one phone call). I had waited all day at that point, but agreed to Monday. Marc arrived on Monday, and said I would have a quote in a few days. Two weeks later I emailed the company & asked for my estimate, and Doug responded by email to apologize and explain that Marc had been out for a week and would get back to me when he returned. A week later I received a very brief email estimate from Marc, without much of the detailed description of work which I specifically asked about and he said would be included. I am always looking for quality contractors who are responsive and do quality work, and had several other projects I would have liked to have done. I am disappointed in the amount of time I wasted waiting on this company, and the prompting I had to do to get the estimate, which was also unexpectedly high (and I will gladly pay for high quality work).

We are very pleased with our new deck. Doug and his crew were professional, courteous and honest from start to finish. Of the many subcontractors hired for various projects around our home, they are the only team that completed on time and within budget. They were not the least expensive, however the quality of their work and selection of materials were top notch. I am happy to give my recommendation.

Doug comes highly recommended and we felt that both his plan and his pricing were good. When we are able to do this project, we will contract with Doug.

Exterior Additions was one of two estimates I requested. I asked them to design and build a pergola to cover my new brick patio. Although, I had been researching what I wanted it to look like, Mark added to my design, built what he said, and I can't be more happy. Three days from the day of the estimate his workers were on the scene and the 13x31' pergola with tapered columns plus an attractive 2x2 design to finish. The whole process took less than a week. I care more about workmanship than I do price but he managed to give me the best price as well. I am very happy with Exterior Addition's promptness, quality design, product and value. I also got an Angie's list discount.

Exterior Additions did a wonderful job finishing my screened porch. The communication was excellent as Doug always let me know in advance when he was going to be here and he always showed up on time. He also always returned my phone calls and messages. He gives the best customer service possible. It was nice to know that I could contact him and he would respond so promptly. He was very clear about what he was going to do and when it would be done. He works quickly and efficiently. Doug is very professional and has very qualified and knowledgeable people working with him. The quality of work done on the porch was also outstanding. From putting up tongue and groove cedar boards on the ceiling to installing a new door through a brick wall, I was very pleased with the carpentry and amount of detail applied. Overall we are very pleased with the finished project and Doug's efforts. I highly recommend Exterior Additions and would use them again in any future projects.

Work was completed in a timely manner and Doug and his team were very responsive to my comments and change requests. The holidays interrupted progress, but once they resumed work the porch as completed well within reason. The porch is great - received lots of compliments on it. It has essentially doubled the real living space of my house. I would have no problem using them again or recommending them to others interested in this sort of addition.
