We cannot write a review that speaks to how much we love the new space that Exterior Additions created for our house. We had a few projects going on at our house this summer and Doug and his crew were hands down the best and most professional of all of them. We met in April/May to discuss what we wanted to get down to our house. Once we signed the contract and gave our deposit we got on the books with them for construction during the end of July. The work started on time and they guys worked great. We were very happy with what they did as they took away the old deck in one day. The new construction is fantastic! We talked with Doug about what we wanted and he took our vision and then implemented it with new additions to make it work better. We were very excited to put them in and have been enjoying the deck now for a month. It has transformed our outdoor space and our kids love the space. We have also told all our friends about the work that they did. I would highly recommend the company to anyone who needs a deck built or transformed into a family friendly area. We love the screened in area and cannot wait to use it year round with the EzeBreeze windows.

Exterior Additions built a new sunroom in our house last August that included a full wood burning fireplace. Doug Lynch and his team were one of the most professional and customer service oriented businesses that we have ever worked with. Doug was extremely involved throughout the entire process - this was not about getting a sales visit from one person and never hearing from them again. The best part was that Doug enhanced our initial vision so that the end result was much better than we could have imagined. His team kept us aware of the step by step process on an ongoing basis and we could not have been more thrilled. After the project was complete, Doug was very responsive to follow-up questions that we had and stopped by several times to make sure we were happy.

Exterior additions built my screen porch last year. In the heat of this summer, the door was not latching. I called Doug & he came right out & fixed it. No charge. In line with my experience when the porch was built, Doug & the team take pride in doing a good high quality job & stand behind it, even after time has passed. I still love the porch they built for me. It was money well spent, I just wish I did it years earlier!

Doug and the rest of the folks at Exterior Additions did a fantastic job!. From initial contact with Doug, to Josh quoting and review of build, to Mike and the crew doing the actual build, the total experience was beyond my expectations. In the quoting process Doug took the time to answer every question thoroughly and suggested a few different approaches to the design that as it turned out worked perfectly. There was a minor schedule conflict I had with the start of the build and Doug easily managed to work around it without issue. Mike and the crew's workmanship is impeccable and we really enjoyed working with Mike. We love the porch and are spending of ton of time in it. I recommend Exterior Additions highly and would not hesitate to use them again.

I do not think there are words to describe how excellent Exterior Additions handled this whole project. From the planning portion of the project to completing the final punch list this company was punctual, responsive, did the highest level quality work and all with a smile and respect. All the employees and any sub contractors that worked on this project came the day they were scheduled, we're professional in look and job performance, never left a mess when done and always did excellent work. My wife now calls our new porch her "favorite room in our house"! Finally I would tell you I would recommend this company to all my friends and none of my enemies. Doug & company are a fantastic group of professionals. We had this work done three years ago and today, it still looks brand new. I have had compliments over and over on this beautiful room. Doug and crew came in stood up the frame and work to extend my porch to at total of 1300 sq ft. They did this in the most professional manner. Each member of the different crews were on time and worked quickly and produced a great product. Never did I have to go and point things out that needed to be done, it was completely turn key and professional. Doug isn't a stranger to me and my projects, I have used Exterior Additions a total of 3 times all for significant projects and all have been completed well beyond my expectations. All of the work on the latest project was completed in less than 4 weeks, AMAZING! Thanks Doug for another great space!

Doug was very responsive throughout the whole process. He was patient in explaining things and took the time to go over any questions or concerns we had. The workers were on time and did quality work. The project was completed in the time frame that Doug set expectations with. In addition, after everything was constructed as a courtesy they cleaned the trex flooring in our porch on the final day. We were very particular about who we chose to do this project. Doug came with glowing references, and we can see why. He takes pride in making sure that everything goes smoothly and being accommodating to our needs. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking to do similar work to their home. In addition, we would use him again if and when the need ever arose.

Fantastic from start the finish. Doug and his crew were a pleasure to work with, very responsive if there were any questions or issues. They completed the work in 16 days, most of those days it was raining. We've been using the porch with the Eze Breeze windows for a week and love it. The work quality is excellent.

After several months of getting estimates and ideas Doug was the only contractor who consistently responded to all our questions, addressed our concerns, and did was needed to close our business. Amazing how many companies either never got back to us to quote or even once they did never followed up. Clearly the business goes to those who want, need, and demonstrate the willingness to do the job. After contract signing he spelled out every detail and timeframe and made sure we understood what, when, and how the project was going to be done. He gave us many different options and ideas that we hadn't even thought about. The only concern we had the entire time was in dealing with his electrical subcontractor. We wanted a dedicated outlet installed which the electrician said he would do and it was installed. The next day the electrician called me and asked for additional payment which I didn't know about beforehand. I had believed that since they were already running new wiring this would be included which I found out after it was done that it was not. My suggestion to consumers is to make sure everything you want to do or change is in writing along with any cost change. While this was between me and the electrician it was Doug's subcontractor and he takes the entire job seriously and got it worked out amicably. When there are countless stories of contractors who don't show up, don't finish the job, or finish it with less than satisfactory results, it was a pleasure dealing with Doug and Exterior Additions. While it's always smart to get multiple quotes when all is said and done you want your job done right and at a fair cost. He accomplished both and I would highly recommend him.

I can't say enough good things about Exterior Additions - we were beyond thrilled from start to finish. Doug Lynch (the owner) is without a doubt the most professional and responsive service provider that I have ever worked with. We had a pretty solid idea of what we wanted constructed, and contacted Exterior Additions. Doug came out to the house and walked us through his company's impressive portfolio of work and explained the ins and outs of the process. He was able to make recommendations that helped improve design, ease maintenance and also save us money. One of the upgrades that we wanted was Trex (composite) flooring, given its durability and hassle free maintenance. We actually bid out the job to 2 other companies - a larger competitor and also another one similar in size to Exterior Additions. To our surprise and delight, the estimate came in several thousand dollars lower than the others, and since we felt best about Doug's vision and plan, we went with Exterior Additions. The estimate was very thorough, and clearly itemized the costs for each item, allowing us to really understand costs and what we were paying for. Our initial meeting was in January, and Doug was very upfront about timing, letting us know that construction would start late Feb/early March and would last 20 working days, depending on weather. What impressed me most with Doug was that there was never radio silence - even prior to construction I would get an e-mail from him with general updates on timing. Sure enough, on February 23 construction commenced. The crew chief (Mike) was top notch, Mike and his crew were there every morning on time, and they worked quickly. The weather during construction was a bit rainy at times, but they worked right through it. And again, through construction, we were getting e-mail updates from Doug a few times a week. If I had any questions, Doug was extremely responsive, always getting back to us in less than 24 hours. As someone who is a Type A and values communication, this was very important, and made us feel confident that Doug, Mike and the crew were on top of the whole construction project. True to his word, the crew finished on March 20, exactly 20 working days from when the project began. The finished product is beautiful and well constructed. Mike and the crew did an excelent job cleaning, making it appear like they were never even there. The entire process exceeded my exepctations, we didn't have any hiccups or issues whatsoever. I would whole-heartedly recommend Doug and Exterior Additions for any porch/deck construction project. A truly first class and professional operation.

My original plan was to replace the existing deck with a screened porch. Doug made some design suggestions that greatly improved the space; his ideas are what made us choose him to do the project. He and his crew were a pleasure to work with, very responsive if there were any questions or issues. We've been using the porch with the Eze Breeze windows for about a month and love it. The work quality is excellent.

I found Exterior Additions on Angie's List. Owner Doug Lynch and crew are fantastic! My entire project was built from start to finish in under three weeks! Everything was efficiently handled by Doug and his team. I was very impressed at the professionalism, courtesy, honesty, and master craftsmanship demonstrated by everyone. The customer service was a 10 out of 10 and this is the first time I am saying that about a contractor. Any question or request was quickly answered and promptly handled. I had no issues or problems whatsoever with Exterior Additions. Every crew member showed up on time and cleaned the work area at the end of each day. All construction debris was promptly hauled away and there was no trash around the yard. The lumber, electrical items, paint, and Eze-Breeze windows are of the finest quality and all electrical wires were routed through the posts and down below. There are no unsightly wires just a neat clean look. Doug is a man of his word and takes extreme pride in his company. I highly r ecommend Exterior Additions to anyone contemplating building a screened-in porch, sun room, deck, deck renovation or any other project! My project turned out better than I envisioned, this once unused space is now a functional addition to my home. Thank you Doug and crew for all of your hard work and for my new screened-in porch sun room! I can't wait until my next home improvement project and I will look no further than Exterior Additions!

All work was completed in the agreed upon timeframe, and just as promised. There were no surprises and each crew was courteous and did great work. Quality work and very professional. I highly endorse Doug and the entire Exterior Additions team!

I actually wrote a review about a week ago and being "old," I did not notice until now that I put "no" in the hire again spot. Well that is not correct. I would hire Exterior Additions again in a heartbeat. After having them do two very large jobs for us, we now expect only the best from a contractor and Exterior Additions is the BEST!!! We also learned from experience that the beautiful rooms really add value to your home. Our old home sold in two weeks because of the EZ Breeze room. You really do get your money back when you sell. This is truly a great contractor to work with. Professional, knowledgeable, fair, high quality materials and workmanship.

This team was great in every way. Doug really consulted with us on the best design for our space which was limited and on a slope. He understood our want to have nice finishing such as crown on the inside. They did a jute out for our grill and smoker so that my husband grill in the rain without getting wet. We also appreciated that while we are not screening it in now, should we choose to later, the design accommodates it. The concrete, electrician, construction and paint teams were just so nice. We wished they did interiors so we could hire them again!

It was a free estimate. I thought they were very professional and complete. They seemed very knowledgeable about the type of system that they put into the porch to do the springs. They are easy springs and easy windows. They were very prompt. They got here when they were supposed to be here. They had plenty of time to answer the questions to take measurements and to discuss with us what we wanted & what we needed, so it was a good experience. The price was more that what I wanted to spend, but I don't know if it's reasonable based on what's out there. They sent a very detailed list and broke it down to different levels. Everything was very much incrementalized on the estimate, which was good.

We had high expectations going in due to the many positive reviews on Angie's list, and were not disappointed. Dough Lynch appears to run a "well oiled machine" regarding all phases of the project including initial contact, proposals, communications, and project execution including coordination with subcontractors. The work performed was timely, expeditious, well coordinated, and of high quality. The main work crew that provided demolition and construction was most impressive with their work ethic, focus, pace, professionalism, attention to detail, and desire to please. All materials were delivered the first day of work. Scrap materials, including demolition of the existing deck, were removed from our property on a timely basis. The worksite was kept clean and well organized. Subcontractors including roofing, painting, electrical, and HVAC (relocate natural gas line for the grill) were well qualified and motivated to represent Exterior Additions in the way Doug likely expects and demands. Exterior Additions was not the least expensive of the proposals we received, but they were competitive. In the end, I would have to say the "value" was outstanding. Overall, and in hindsight, I can say throughout the project I always had full confidence that Doug and his team were going to get things done, get them done right, and that we would be pleased with the end result. Moreover, I have full confidence Doug will stand behind his end product and take care of any unforeseen, and certainly unexpected, issues that may arise down the rode. The only minor disappointment was we had to wait approximately 3 months to have the work performed due to their extensive backlog. However, we knew this on the front end when the proposal was delivered, and decided it was worth the wait. I attributed the backlog to their heavy demand based on Angie's List and other positive referrals as well as an uptick in the economy. Regardless, it was well worth the wait. What's another 3 months when my wife has been waiting 15 years anyway . . . We are thoroughly pleased and would recommend Exterior Additions to anyone and everyone.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Doug Lynch could write the book on customer service! After receiving quotes from two other providers, we turned to Angie's List for a final alternative. We stumbled upon Exterior Additions and liked what we saw online. We reached out online and received a call within 24 hours to schedule an appointment. We knew from the moment we shook Doug's hand that he was our guy. He was incredibly knowledgeable about his product and very personable, not to mention he had the best price :) The only down side to the whole process was the lead time (which he was up front about), but there is good reason for this. Doug and his team deliver an excellent product and it is in high demand. They started the work exactly when they said they would and completed it in a very timely manner. Everyone, from the carpenters to the painters, to the electrician, were all a pleasure to deal with and very competent in their fields of expertise. Doug's communication with us throughout the project was outstanding. WE LOVE OUR OUTDOOR SPACE! We look forward to many years of enjoyment! Thank you Doug and team!!! He is very precise, responsive and pays attention to details. He is conscientious and always communicates quickly by emails and answers my questions promptly. He built an outside deck for us.

Overall the whole project was awesome. We couldn't be happier with our screen porch, doors and lattice work. It turned out beautifully and we LOVE IT! I would highly recommend Exterior Additions, just as they were recommended to us. I also highly recommend the EZBreeze window system. Its so great when its cold and/or a storm is rolling through.

We could not be happier with the contruction process or the finished product. Work was completed timely, as promised and of a high quality. His recommendations were very practical and not sales oriented. We are not the easiest customers to please however Doug did just that. Doug is very well organized, personable and practical. If you call the company he answers the phone. I don't believe I ever left a message. The on site supervisor was in sync with Doug. That is what you get when the owner is the day to day manager with a small dedicated crew. A first-rate outfit and I would not hesitate to either call them for something else or to recommend to a friend.
