The estimate given to us by DiFabion Remodeling Inc. was expensive, but they were professional.

Things went great! We basically moved our kitchen from one side of the house to the other. We completely opened up our first floor and are very happy with our new living space! DiFabion Remodeling was amazing! I can't say enough about the quality work they provided. From the very first meeting they were extremely helpful in devising an organized plan to create a new living space that we love! They basically held our hand every step of the way! DiFabion remodeling would schedule appointments AND accompany me to select the granite for our counter tops, pick out the tile for the custom backsplash, pick out all new appliances and accessories. I look back now at what was a huge job, yet it all went quite smoothly. DiFabion's workers are the best! They are very good at what they do, whether it was the carpenters, electricians, painters, or the floor guys. I never had a problem. They were courteous, respectful, punctual, and truly did treat my home like it was their home! I would highly recommend them!

The bathroom was demolished down to the studs. Floor tile was installed including heated floor. New cabinets, quartz counter top, all new fixtures (tub, shower, toilet, sinks, lighting). The kitchen counter tops were replaced with quartz, new sink, new gas stove, and all new lighting. The entire project took about 3 months, exactly on schedule and exactly as we were told before we started. Progress was reviewed with management at various stages of completion. The DiFabion team did an outstanding job all the way through and we are thrilled with the results. We were shown various designs and options and given time to decide just what we wanted. Their design specialist assisted us in the choosing of tile, cabinets, etc. and was very professional. The carpenters, subs and specialists were all very courteous and helpful and kept an extremely clean jobsite for such a project. We were impressed that everyone on the team, including subs, were meticulous craftsmen, and never quit on a piece of work until they were satisfied it was the best they could provide. And their teamwork was remarkable. DiFabion Remodeling is head and shoulders above any contractor we have ever dealt with, and we would obviously use them again for future work.

They did a great job. He was very courteous, punctual and did a great job. The owner was also great. He understood everything we needed and was very clear and concise.

After meeting with Michael DiFabion and Sara Almond (design coordinator), we reached agreement to proceed with a major home renovation project with DiFabion Remodeling in December 2012. The project entailed a complete demolition of the kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, and old tile flooring through the entire house. In addition, the existing back porch was replaced and a new covered veranda was built. This required extensive engineering and resulted in the need to remove an existing tier of family room windows. The original renovation schedule was predicated upon a six and half month time frame beginning February 11th. Actual work commenced exactly on time. Sara was extremely helpful in the selection process which consisted of all kitchen and bathroom fixtures and hardware, cabinetry, granite countertops and floor and bath tiles. Michael and the entire DiFabion team provided superior service and their attention to detail was excellent. The final product, completed in July 2013 (one month early) has met all our expectations and we are extremely satisfied in all aspects. We would definitely give DiFabion Remodeling our highest recommendation and would use them again for any future projects.

Overall, a great experience. Quote was about the same as others received. I had structural plans drawn up by Marcel at Intelligent Design Engineering. Mike and crew were very easy to work with and kept me updated throughout. Quality subs were used for electrical and HVAC. About to use them again for another home project. Easily recommend.

It was a flawless experience with them. From the design to the completion nothing could have gone better.

Was positive from the very beginning. Mike showed up to meet with us on a weekend, listened carefully to what we were looking for, and once we decided to move forward, he and his team made sure we understood the staging of the work, critical decision points, and where we needed to weigh in. Mike was very sensitive to our schedules, understanding that we travel quite a bit for work and that we’d need to fit of the decision making and shopping in to the limited times when we were in town. Although the project took about two months to complete and we needed to move out of our bedroom during the time of the work, we were amazed at how smoothly everything went and how relatively little inconvenience we experienced, especially in light of our work schedules. Sara was wonderful to work with on the design side and helped us quickly but patiently boil down the many decisions we needed to make. She quickly recognized our style preferences and not only encouraged but helped us choose design elements that fit into these preferences. One of our greatest concerns going into the project was how “torn up” the house would be during and after the project was complete. Mike and his team were very neat, treated our house with respect, and did a good job of cleaning up at the conclusion of the project. We would choose Difabion for future modeling projects without hesitation and recommend them to others for their professionalism, reliability and ability to make what is an inherently complex and stressful process much less so.

DiFabion Remodeling had an in-house designer that did a great job laying out the kitchen to best maximize the space and functionality. They used quality sub-contractors (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and hardwood) who did good work as well. As for the DiFabion employees, they were always courteous, stayed on schedule, and willing to answer questions. For a large remodel project like this one, it moved along very smoothly. Although the project completed on schedule, the project could have definitely finished a lot sooner. There were several times during construction where no work took place for 3-4 days at a given time. This is typical when contractors are juggling crews between 8-10 different jobs at a given time. To DiFabion's credit, Michael was really good warning us about the upcoming "lull" moments! DiFabion Remodeling has been very responsive to post construction problems. Each time, Michael replied immediately and had someone called or come out to address the problems.

We had never had remodeling done and had all kinds of apprehensions about how it would affect our family life with our young kids, how the work would look, and whether it would be worth it. Our only regret was that we waited so long to get this done. Throughout the entire process the staff at DiFabion were professional, courteous, and responsive to our needs. They were timely, made little mess, worked diligently, and overall the project really enhanced our home. We were really impressed all around and would easily use DiFabion for our next projects.

We received bids from 4 companies (all off of Angie's List) for remodel of our bath. Although Mike's estimate was a bit higher than the others received, his professionalism, the quality of his workers, his ideas and reputation convinced us to go with Mike. We were working between 2 states, and wanted to be home while work was accomplished, so only able to allow his company to work on our project 2 weeks per month. Mike accommodated our schedules with no problem, setting up clear schedules for the work they were to perform each week that we were in town, and reviewing the schedules with me frequently. His team always showed up exactly when they said they would, they were polite, worked hard, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They removed all debris and stacked remaining tile for us in our garage (at our request). All elements of the project were done in an outstanding manner. The framing, drywall, plumbing, etc, were quality. The tile work was amazing. The care and detailing of those performing the work was exceptional, and they did not hesitate to describe things they had done, such as the extra process applied to ensure that the shower would not leak. We had a couple of minor issues after the project was completed and Mike very quickly coordinated our schedules to correct the problems. We particularly appreciated that Mike made great use of the weeks we were in town, by carefully scheduling his work, and ensuring that his crew was available when he said they'd be here. The work was completed when he said it would be, and we couldn't be happier with the finished product.

We selected DiFabion Remodeling based on the reviews of Angie's LIst members, and we can only support what has been said so many times before: this is a first-rate organization in all respects. Everyone we have worked with has been incredibly professional, committed and caring. They have been diligent about making sure we knew what to expect every week, who would be in our house, enlisting us to make selections/decisions at the appropriate times, and advising us of any issues. While all the team members were great, we worked most closely with Michael, Sara, and Doug to design, manage and execute our project. In many respects, they became part of our family: familiar with our desires, tastes and working style. They didn't hide the fact that a project of this magnitude would be incredibly disruptive, but they also took every possible step to make the project as easy as possible. We appreciated the way they worked with top companies for their sub work. Subs who had an Angie's List member discount extended the discount to us even though they were being paid though DiFabion. If you are buying new appliances, take delivery of them *well* in advance of when the project schedule calls for their installation. We didn't do that, and when a critical appliance was found to be out of stock we had to scramble to find a replacement at the last minute. Fortunately, DiFabion and the subs were very flexible in working around the delay, but it was something we could have avoided had we taken their advice eariler. After four and a half months (finishing 2 weeks earlier than originally scheduled), we have a stunning remodel that truly reflects our style and taste, completed very close to budget. There's no question that DiFabion Remodeling will be, as others have said, our remodelers for life!

Mike DiFabion is the best and so is every member of his crew. They are professional, friendly, helpful and best of all, skilled.They gutted our kitchen to the studs and replaced our old cabinets with beautiful cherry cabinets and granite counters. They made living without a kitchen as bearable as possible and turned what used to be an embarrassment for us into a room we love to show off.Same with our bathrooms. Old and dated is now spectacular.Communication is excellent. You will know every step of the way what to expect.Mike will be our contractor for life.

Since this was a small job (compared to a remodel), and they would have just managed a couple of subs, they came out and assessed damage and job to fix. Gave me the subs info to fix and let me call and deal with them for repair. Guiding me through getting

We can't say enough good things about our experience with Mike and his crew. From start to finish they were all a pleasure to work with and do exceptional work. What is also nice is that they take pride in their work and delivering a superior product on time that reflects what they quoted as a price for the work to be performed. When we moved into the house in March, both the master bath and kitchen were very dated, so the remodel had to start from the "studs up." I loved the fact that they were more than willing to work with me when I inquired whether I could provide certain things on my own (ie; like the knobs for the cabinetry, the sconces, the mirrors, etc.). Also, when I needed to work with their suppliers for things like cabinetry, granite, tile, etc. I found that they had great suppliers with a vast selection of options. Having the ability to work with good people on certain things and "do my own thing" on others made things very easy and pleasant. Also, I was so impressed with the crew that Mike has on staff (and his subcontractors as well for things like plumbing, electrical, and tile installation). They are all top notch---innovative when they needed to be but very sensitive to doing things the way I wanted them done. Finally, Mike was very realistic with us about how long it would take to do the remodel--about 14-16 weeks---and so we were very pleasantly surprised when everything was finished in 12 weeks. I would highly recommend DiFabion Remodeling. There is a reason Mike has a great reputation and has been in the business for as long as he has---he does what he says, does it in on time and in budget, and gives you a wonderful product. We love our new kitchen and bath and hope we can use DiFabion again before too long for some other things we are thinking about doing.

In short, to paraphrase Cole Porter, DiFabion is DiFabulous! The exterior work was done very quickly and extremely accurately. The replaced doors fit far better than the original and the window repairs are flawless. All of the DiFabion workers and subcontractors were first rate--timely, pleasant, honest, fast, accurate. DiFabion also partnered very well with our separate cabinet maker and the whole project came together perfectly. Any issues that arose during the project were addressed immediately and DiFabion places a high value on customer satisfaction. We had absolutely no issue with giving the team access to our house whether we were home or not and they were very respectful of our personal space.

My under mounted steel sink had fallen from my granite countertop. The original installer had "fixed" it three times in one year, but after the third failure it was time to find someone new. I found DiFabion Remodeling here on Angie's list and emailed them explaining my situation and requested a price quote. Mike responded quickly and quoted $135. The price was reasonable so I set the appt. The worker showed up on time and was courteous (per my wife). The job took nearly 2 hours. He had to remove all the old caulk & silicone, plus the 2x4's and other fixes the installer had put in. The sink looks good and is holding well. I would use DiFabion again. 6/7/14 It's been nearly 3 years since DiFabion fixed my sink and it's holding great. No issues whatsoever. 2/16/16 Still holding strong.

All crew members of DiFabion were polite, punctual, and professional. Great quality and careful installation. Project manager communicated almost daily and work schedule went as planned. Work site was cleaned up daily. We will hire these guys again when we have another project. Totally satisfied with the remodel.

They did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. The extra charges I paid for were for real additions to work. They did an excellent job, including keeping me informed all the way through the project. This was a big difficult job that cost a lot of money, and I am completely satisfied. Mike Difabion is an honest decent man, and all his guys are the same. All of his direct guys and subs were as good as you could have to do a project.

DiFabion Remolding Upon deciding to have our kitchen completely remodeled, we reviewed candidates on Angie's List. DiFabion was one of the 3 or 4 with the Angie superior performance star on the listing when we checked. After reviewing the qualifications and reports on the various candidates, We selected DiFabion Remodeling from remodelers listed on Angie's list to have our kitchen remodeled. After narrowing the candidates down, we invited DiFabion Remodling to submit a bid on the project. Having had no previous experience with DiFabion, we based our initial contractor screening from Angie's list. Our Old kitchen was to be stripped out down to the studs and a complete replacement of everything but the tile floor. First Mike DiFabion came over and we had a several hour discussion about what we wanted and various options that we wanted costed out. Based in large part on the detailed cost breakdown provided by Mike, we were able to clearly see what task were involved in the project, how much was budgeted for each task and a realistic schedule. Based on comments on Angie's list from pervious customers of DiFabion and our our assessment of the proposal, we selected DiFabion for the remodeling job. Mike was very cordial and easy to work with, he was always well prepared for the meetings we had during the remodeling with an updated schedule. We always knew how we were doing cost wise as Mike had each major portion of the project costed out and an indication of how the budget was running in each area. We also appreciated Mike's philosophy of welcoming our participate in decisions - particularly about brand, style and quality of all major components considered for inclusion in the project. So from the first, we had a good feeling that we had hired a professionally managed company for the remodeling project. But, no matter how well planned on paper a job is, it takes real people to accomplish the work. The people that Mike put on the job were a very pleasant change from our previous experience with other contractors - these were professional Tradesmen - a breed I thought had all but disappeared. All were polite, nice and easy to communicate with, were receptive to questions and suggestions and clearly knew their trade area and had years of experience in it. In addition to Mike DiFabion's own staff and workers, we found his business associates cut out of the same mold - professional, knowledgeable and willing to take the time to walk you through your decision process - whether selecting cabinets, granite countertops, electrical work, plumbing, etc, etc. I am somewhat of a stickler for schedule and might be considered "nitpicking" when it comes to the quality of work and getting tasks done on schedule. What made this really conducive to working with this crew -- was the ability to communicate with the Project manager about any matter related to the project. If a question needed higher echelon input or decision, individual workers took the responsibility of contacting DiFabion management and getting any issue resolved. The Project Manager was very responsive in replying to any and all concerns or questions. Another pleasant aspect was the work crews always cleaned up at the end of each day. Not only did that look nice, but it minimized dust and debris being tracked over the rest of the house and made our life more pleasant. At the close out meeting, we set down with Mike Difabion and reviewed the entire project - Mike laid out each area of expenditure and whether that subgoal target was met, exceeded or was under the estimate. We really like the way everything was above board and on the table. In summary, we are very pleased with the remodeling which has left us with (in the vernacular of the younger crowd) an "AWESOME" kitchen. We have lived in the house for 27 years. We decided to change from the tub to the shower. We have had no problems with the work done.

The DiFabion was absolutely outstanding in every aspect of the job. The quality of the work was beyond expectations, the responsiveness was excellent, the ease of dealing with the entire DiFabion team was fantastic...they were a pleasure to have in and out of our house over about a 3 month period of time. There were minor delays but invariably it had nothing to do with DiFabion. In fact, when materials or parts did not come in as scheduled they worked around the delays as much as possible and even expedited delivery when ever possible. From the first discussions when we were envisioning what we wanted to the last touchups, this DiFabion team exemplifies the highest level of professionalism. Communications along the process were clear and consistent to make sure we were right with them in the process. When decisions were needed they highlighted what was needed in plenty of time to give us the opportunity to make sound decisions. We feel that we got real value for what we paid and never doubted our choice of DiFabion.I will not hesitate for a minute to use the DiFabion team again or recommend them to anyone.

The DiFabion team did a great job! My husband and I knew DiFabion was the right choice for us after our first meeting with Mike DiFabion. DiFabion renovated our master bathroom, after another contractor left us with a bathroom full of issues. Mike literally "saved the day" and assured us that he would leave us with a finished bathroom that not only looked great, but had a strong foundation. From start to finish the entire DiFabion crew was professional and courtesy, and most importantly they communicated effectively and provided top-notch service. Our project manager was great and we loved working with the DiFabion team. We can't say enough. These guys are great!!!

This was an excellent experience. Mike DiFabion and his company are professional in all aspects of work from the original conception, through design/construct phases. Project management was excellent. We have a older home that needed remodeling and reroofing for the breezeway and garage. Mike's team replaced rotten wood, added additional wood trim, ceiling fans and lights to the breezeway to make it into a patio room and put a new roof on. The existing porch and patio extended along the whole side and back of the house. They were in bad shape, plus the original design was not very good. With Mike's help, we came up with a new design and proceeded to demo the old concrete/brick patio and replace with a new stamped concrete patio with brick walls and edging. The removal of the old concrete required heavy equipment excavation adjacent to four glass patio doors and two picture windows. Amazingly, nothing was cracked or disturbed! The new foundation, grading and concrete were placed neatly and without damage too. We are delighted by the work. Project review meetings were held along the way of the 5 to 6 week project, with not more than a couple days without personal or e-mail communications. Very professional and a great value. We now know why DiFabion is one of the favored remodelers in our neighborhood!

They did a fantastic job!!! The work started at the beginning of December and completed a week early, even with some additional items that I requested. Everyone involved was very professional, courteous and pleasant. They cleaned up before leaving each evening. A detailed work schedule was provided every few weeks. Communication was great; any questions I had were answered very quickly. The quality of work is outstanding!!! They did a beautiful job. This was my first remodeling effort and it was a good experience!
