Overall experience was very good. Work was done quickly and response time to fix was excellent. The door runs smoothly and a lot quieter.

Cox Door provided a quote over the phone (some that I called would not do this). They discussed options and pricing in a manner that indicated that they wanted the best solution for my situation. The installation was swift, on time, and the level of workmanship was high. In--out--right price--nice work.

It went great. The whole job was completed in about 30 minutes and the door works and is quieter than it was new.

I called Cox Door in the early afternoon, Scott was at my house in a couple of hours as promised. The work was done promptly and without delay as he had all parts necessary for repair on his truck. Scott was courteous and businesslike and got the job done very quickly.

Punctual, responsive; gave immediate information and estimate during first visit. Wish I had more work for these guys!

They were able to come out very promptly - I think the next day, and serviced our existing motor, saying we didn't need a new one. The one we have isn't the best, he said, but would be fine now, at least for a while, since it has been serviced. He left brochures for new ones if we decided to go that route in the future. I appreciated that he fixed what we have for now rather than just trying to sell us a new one. The door works beautifully now, and if it breaks again in 6 mos (it is an old model), I still think we got more than our money's worth. If that happens, we'll get a new one, and definitely call Cox Door back out to do the work.

Responsive. Came same day they were called. Door arrived and installed as promised.

The man determined the problem was a tension problem with the supports. He adjusted the tension in the supports (both of them even though only one was having a problem) and didn't charge me anything. Very nice man. I will definitely call them in the future due to their promptness, friendliness and customer support.

This was the first time we had used their services. A young man came out promptly and was polite. He fixed the problem and explained what had happened and left. We are satisfied and would share his name as a good person to call.

Found problem immediately and replaced the bad parts; the job took 15 minutes.

It went excellent. They called within a day of us calling them. They came when they said that they would. They got the job done promptly. They also charged a fair price.

The service man came to the house on the day I phoned and on time. He surmised the problem as being two 'out of whack' sensors which had been mounted on the garage door frame and not securely fastened to the wall as they should have been. He drilled into the concrete wall and remounted the sensors. He also (without even asking me) greased the doors and adjusted the tension in both doors. I was very pleased with the man's demeanor, efficiency and great customer service.

The old door broke so we looked them up. They had a pretty good rating so we called them. They came out early in the morning, did the work right then, cleaned up after themselves and were gone by noon.

Came promptly for quote. Came promptly for replacing door. Did a wonderful job taking down old door, putting up new door, and rehooking opener. Completely satisfied.

Great experience. Cox was able to come out the day after I called. Scott diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to replace the damaged part immediately. Since the new logic board was not going to work with the existing keypad I was going to have to buy a new one. Scott happened to have a used keypad that he gave to me, no cost! He was very professional and pleasant to work with.

The problem was electrical interference problems with fluorescent lights. They diagnosed and solved my problem. They didn't try to sell me anything that didn't work. They are quite responsive. They called back and double checked and kept me up to date on everything.

The spring broke when I closed the garage door. Unfortunately my car was trapped in the garage and I was unable to open the door. I called the Cox Door company and Scott was able to come out about an hour later. He replaced the springs and found a few other minor problems that he fixed while he was at my house. His thorough check up probably saved me from calling them again soon.

Called Cox Door (1/2/08) and was able to secure an appointment for Friday (1/4/08). As my vehicle was not trapped in the garage, I was counting my blessings and tried to be flexible on time. However, I was thrilled to have someone come out relatively quickly. Patrick, a very pleasant and nice gentleman, arrived promptly and worked quickly. He made sure that I knew I should call them if I have any problems. Will enjoying pulling into the garage this weekend! Thanks for the quick service.

Called Cox Doors, they said they could have someone out to my house the next day. They called back 20 minutes later and said they had a person in the area and could fix the unit in 15 minutes. They arrived in 10 minutes and then only took 15 minutes to fix the door! Good price for the work and great service!

Great! Called Tues. late afternoon, and they came out the next day. The technician called before he arrived. I was at home with other workers at the house, so a time wasn't necessary. Took perhaps a half hour. Cox installed the garage door opener (7 years old) prior to our owning the house, and this is the third service call I've made with them. The previous two times I did not check the list, but this time I did & decided to stick with them. Very pleased with cost. Have always been pleased with service.

Excellent experience. Called at 7:35 AM when I found my spring broken with my car held prisoner. I had a working garage door by 9:35. The dispatcher keep me informed when the service rep would be arriving. The service rep, Scott, was prompt and hard working. He explained what he was doing and gave me recommendations for maintenance. Very impressed with the entire organization.

It just happened to be during a period of strong daily thunderstorms in Charlotte. Cox Door Co. rep. said they were swamped with repairs to door opener circuit boards and if I could wait till the next morning unless it was an emergency (like having the car stuck in the garage with no way to get to work) and they would give Member a call once the technician was on his way. Technician called about mid morning the next day as promised. He was on-time; polite; professional; performed the repair in about 45 minutes; and checked operation of the door, rollers and opener once the repair was complete. Member is very pleased with his experience Cox Door and will call them again should the need arise. Member does not know how the repair price compares with others, the call to Cox Door was the first call made after checking the list. Member was happy that the rep was up front and honest about when they could do the job and why there would be a one day wait for service.

Called Cox Doors, on a Monday, due to great reports from Angie's List. Someone actually answered when I called, and I told John of my problem. After asking me several questions, he explained what would need to be done and gave the estimate over the phone. Gave two estimates: one if I did not replace the opener ($250), and the other if I did replace the opener ($400) - with me purchasing opener separately. Set appointment for Scott to come out Wednesday afternoon of same week! By mid-afternoon Wednesday, I had a new, very quiet opener and the garage door has not operated this smoothly since I purchased the house 3 years ago! Great Job!

My message was answered promptly and the repair was scheduled at my convenience. The repairmen arrived at the agreed time and all work was performed professionally.

Perfect. On time did a great job and have had no more problems.
