Computer Doc, Inc. opened its doors in 1997 and since then has been consistently building a strong reputation for providing full service computer repair, upgrades, networking, consultation, sales for residential and business customers in the Charlotte and surrounding areas. Kevin Acoveno, owner and operator, a licensed Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), is recognized by the industry as a leading expert in the computer field. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering & Technology and has over 21 years of industry experience. All Computer Doc technicians are A+ and MCSE Certified. Ongoing training for our technicians is a vital part of our company. When a computer technician has over 24 years experience it means that he has the knowledge and troubleshooting skill of working with many versions of operating systems, network configurations, and various software applications. For the client, this translates into quicker diagnosis and more efficient solutions. Response time for repair is crucial. Usually if we receive a phone call before 10am weekdays, we can usually have the problem diagnosed and solved by the next day.

Description of Work: Kevin assembled and delivered a custom computer for me. He did it quickly and delivered it though this wasn't requested! I was disappointed in a couple of things but they have since been figured out but Kevin offered to pickup and revamp the system then deliver it back to me free of charge. We are still trading emails about certain aspects of the computer but I am very happy with my purchase. It cost twice as much as an online purchase would have but Kevin built this one to order and included a year's on site warranty on parts and labor! I would definitely do business with him again.

ONE THING TO KEEP IN MIND IS THAT NOT EVERY VENDOR HAS CREATED A DRIVER OR SOFTWARE TO WORK WITH THAT VERSION AND SOMETIMES THE REGULAR DRIVER OR SOFTWARE IS INCOMPATIBLE AND IT TAKES A LITTLE RESEARCH TO MAKE SOME THINGS WORK PROPERLY. MADE ALL REPAIRS TO GET ME UP AND RUNNING. HE IS PRICEY BUT HE DOES USUALLY SOLVE THE PROBLEM WITH ONE TRIP AND IF NOT HE WILL COME BACK AND MAKE IT RIGHT. IF HE IS RUNNING LATE DUE TO A PREVIOUS APPOINTMENT HIS SECRETARY WILL CALL AND LET YOU KNOW.
