Description of Work: I HAD CHRIS REPLACE A 25-YEAR-OLD CROSS TIE RETAINING WALL WITH DECORATIVE CONCRETE BLOCKS. A YEAR AGO, I HAD A "LANDSCAPER" GIVE ME A QUOTE OF NEARLY $8,000, WHICH WAS WAY OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE. I BOUGHT THE BLOCKS AND HAD THEM DELIVERED. HE TORE THE OLD WALL (ON THE SIDE OF A HILL) WHICH WAS 5' 6" HIGH AT THE HIGHEST POINT, AND ONE FOOT AT THE LOWEST. THE WALL WAS ABOUT 40' LONG. HE WAS RECOMMENED TO ME BY THE COMPANY THAT SOLD THE BLOCKS.
