When it was discovered I needed a new panel during the job they stayed late on a Friday to get it connected so I could use the new hot tub for a party the next day. Above and beyond the call with a smile and professionalism.

Stephen himself answered the phone and fit me in that day, knowing we had listed our home for sale and we're looking for service right away. He called about an hour prior to his arrival and gave me information about how long it would take based on my description of the issue, as well how much it would cost. The team of two were punctual, professional, courteous, and efficient. They seemed to work well together and displayed a pleasant demeanir while working onsite. The original estimate of both arrival time and time to complete installation were accurate. The team consulted and advised of positive alternatives for a tricky location of one of the fixtures. I made the final decision and they carried through with installation as discussed. The team took care to keep floor covered and did a thorough clean up after completing installation. I'm very happy with the job and have already shared my experience with my family. The cost was moderately high but I am pleased with the work and feel it was well worth it. Service was excellent. The owner Stephan Neal was onsite in the morning and even ran to the store as the downrod for our fan was too small in diameter. Kept in good communication beforehand and afterwards to make sure we were pleased with the final product. The electricians he left onsite completed the job in a timely manner, cleaned up and were friendly.

A few weeks ago, we had a power surge through the house due to lightening. Stephen was the fourth electrician that came to the house and I immediately felt comfortable with him. He provided a comprehensive estimate and helped work with the insurance company. He came out on a Saturday to do the work, to ensure that it would be done in a timely manner. He was very professional. In the future I am planning to do a major renovation and will be using him for the job. I highly recommend Amped Electric!

Service was great - Steve and all his employees worked really hard to be on time, on budget, and made the whole project easy. We called desperate for an electrician within the week and Steve was there in an hour, and had work completed 3 days later.

Steve is great to work with! He communicates well, let's you know exactly how what his process is and gives accurate, timely quotes for his services. He replaced our main electrical panel and coordinated the inspection same day. All I had to do was contact the power company and request a service disconnect. Very friendly and professional. Job was completed quickly and successfully. He was transparent about the price from the beginning and stuck to his quote, however in retrospect, I feel like the price tag was a bit high for the amount of effort and the time it took to complete (2 people for an hour and a half).

I called Steve last night after typical work hours extremely nervous about the loud buzzing I heard in my electrical panel. He literally dropped what he was doing and drove straight to my house. He called me again on his way over to make sure his GPS was giving him the correct address, and I confided honestly in him at that time about what he might find when he got here. I've lived in my house for the last 29 years and have been living with multiple un-repaired electrical issues for years. Being a single mom and raising three kids on my own without any disposable income made repairs virtually impossible. So I had just been praying that things would hold out until I could afford to get them fixed. I had chosen Steve from Angie's list a week earlier and had planned on calling him two days later to fix my range, which had suddenly stopped working, so I was grateful not to have to hunt for an electrician blindly that particular evening. But having this new and potentially large additional problem left me extremely concerned about affordability. Steve reassured me not to jump ahead of myself and that once he got here and took a look at the problem, we could talk further. It was determined I needed a new electrical panel because the main breaker had failed. It didn't surprise me, as the panel was 29 years old. Steve spoke to me compassionately, worked out a deep discount, and offered me 30 day financing so that I could move forward with the repair. I would never have been able to afford the repair otherwise. The following day, Steve and Alex came over and installed the new electrical panel. They were very kind, answering all of my questions in great detail and made sure I understood what they were doing and why. After the panel install when the range still didn't operate properly, Steve located the problem and devoted additional time, free of charge, to stay and rewire the range connection so that he wouldn't have to leave me and my family without a stove and oven. This is an electrician who cares deeply about doing quality work and he does it with heart. Steve worked hard to earn my trust, and I give him my highest recommendation.

The day of service he called ahead to let us know that they were running 30 minutes behind from an earlier job, which was nice of him to do.
