Stephen was great - he installed additoinal outlets ; fans, can lights and spots on my screened porch; hung a new light fixture in my home, and installed new breakers and switches for my septic pump. I will definitely use him again and refer him to my friends and family.

My wife really loved Stephen as he had such a great attitude and so easy to work with. I will be using him again for future services on anything electrical related. High quality work with high integrity!

Excellent job. Stephen was able to give a good estimate of the work over the phone. Once here, he spent a good deal of time talking the problems we were having through with myself and my husband before getting to work. Was professional and knowledgeable. Price was reasonable. Will definitely call on him again in the future.

I was very impressed with his knowledge and was very grateful to him for helping me over the phone instead of coming out and charging me for something that would have only taken him a couple of minutes to fix. That is someone I like to do business with and will be calling him with any future electrical needs. I would highly recommend Stephen to anyone that has electrical needs.

All work done according to my expectations. Steve was very responsive in letting me know when he would be there & what was being done. It required mulitple visits around the porch construction, but I always knew the current state of when things would be done including immediate response when the need to reroute the wire was identified.

However, after I've confirmed the time availability for the repair and and called him back the next day, he never called me back. I had to find another Electrician to finish the repair. Never the less, the second Electrician did a great job, at a cost better than Steve quoted me.

Steve was prompt, courteous and very professional. I appreciated that the first thing he did was cover the deck with drop clothes before starting his work. His work was neat and organized. The day before Xmas we had a problem with an existing circuit (not one he added) and emailed him to let him know. He quickly called us and offered to come out immediately to solve our problem. We appreciated his quick response and said it could wait until after the holiday. The day after Xmas he was onsite and found a breaker that needed to be replaced. He takes pride in his work and his reputation. We will use him again when needed.

Mr Neal and his assistant (whose name I forget) were very efficient. Whenever I asked questions about how the wires would work, everything was explained to me so that I understood. they were easy to talk and kind. Mr Neal and his assistant worked as a team, it was obvious they worked well together and knew their job quite well. I was pleased with their work.

Steve was very prompt, courteous, professional, and did a great job for a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

I called a few electrical companies to Come out to get estimates on putting new can lights in my new kitchen. I got three expensive estimates.I called one more company to get the final estimate and it was Amped electrical . The owner Steve showed up on time in a company lettered van,dressed in a company uniform,Clean cut and very professional. Steve looked at my kitchen and not only gave me the best price out of all the companies but added a dimmer switch to control the can lights and said he would put them on their own circuit.Steve was able to come back the next day on a Saturday and do the job with no overtime charge.I gave Steve the go ahead and he came the next day and 4 hours later he had finished my job and wow did it look amazing .Thank u Steve I am so happy with your work and your price I saved over 600 dollars . I would highly recommend Amped Electrical to anyone needing electrical work.Steve also recommend a great HVAC guy to fix my heat .what a great guy. Thanks again Andrew Johnson

I had several things I wanted a quote (addition of a cable outlet, splitting an outlet to have two separate switches, two recessed lights). I called one or two other companies to have a basis for comparison and they would not quote the work without coming out and discussing the work with me. They said that avoids any confusion or avoids them finding out the work may require more or less work than they thought by the description. With Amped, Steve was providing figures over the phone and did not think he needed to come out to review the work with me. I thought that was a poor example of customer service. 11/26 - Perhaps phone quoting isn't as spot on as one thinks. that is why I asked for a followup email and the quote I received for the recessed lighting ALONE was $450.00. (one item greater than the $260 mentioned in the supplier's email alone) That confirms my decision for face to face discussion and upfront agreement about the work to be done. Too much room for miscommunication via a phone conversation for several jobs.

Most of the porch work was already included in the price I paid the porch builder. He uses Steve and Amped Electrical on his jobs. The electrical work that was part of the porch contract came to $1810. I had Steve also install an additional floodlight and 2 can lights in the kitchen while he was there. Steve and his crew did a great job inside the house and outside. I thought the $350 for the additional 2 cans in the kitchen and the additional floodlight was extremely fair considering it included all bulbs and materials as well as labor. The job they did on the porch was outstanding. It was clean and professionally done. They would have mounted the tv to the support if we had already purchased one, but we didn't have it yet. I've used several electricians in the past for various jobs, and I will only be calling Steve in the future.

We were in the midst of a large renovation when my general contractor and I decided that the electrician that we were using was not doing a very good job. Stephen Neal from Amped replaced the previous electrician to fix some mistakes and to complete the scope of work. With as many workers as we have had in our home over the past few months (large interior renovation and landscaping project), I have really come to appreciate how important professionalism is. Stephen immediately impressed me with his attention to detail and the care he took with our home. He was polite, took great care to do his work well and left things cleaner than when he started. I would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Steve is great-he walked me through everything that needed to be done to bring my mother's condo up to current code requirements. He came when he said he would come and returned every phone call (there were a lot of phone calls). Each inspection passed and there were no problems with the inspections. I would recommend Amped Electical to anyone and everyone. Steve Neal is a great guy and does a wonderful job.

Steve had worked here during a porch addition, and when I called, he responded promptly and we were able to set a satisfactory time within a couple of days. He arrived on time and had called ahead so that I would be able to meet him at the house. He listened to my ideas, and took care of my job immediately. As always, Steve was very professional in his approach to the job, and pleasantly personal as a guest in my home. I have confidence in him and the work that he does, and will continue to geve his name to friends in need of electrical services.

I had breakers tripping in my panel box so i called out an electrical contracter to come look at it. They charged me 300 dollars to come out and diagnose that i need a new main breaker panel box and all new breakers due to age and hazardous conditions. They estimated the job to be 3,000 dollars. Because i thought that was a high price i wanted a second opinion. I called Amped electric and talked to steve. He told me he would come out and give me a free quote on replacing the panel box and breakers. steve showed up 15 minutes early, was clean cut dressed in company uniform and was very proffesional. After Steve looked over my main breaker panel box he told me that the panel box and the breakers needed to be replaced and he gave me a quote of 2,000 dollars. Steve was able to come the next day and install the main breaker panel box with all new breakers. Him and his helper were both very polite and proffesional. Not only did i save a thousand dollars on the job; I had two outlets in my kitchen that were not working and he replaced them at no additional charged while he was there. Wow what a great company. I would highly recomend Amped electric to anyone who is in need of electrical services. Thank you Amped electrical.

There were some problems with my particular job for varioous reasons. Steve Neal, the owner of Amped and I agreed that there was a lot of miscommunication and since I was not satisfied with the whole experience, he insisted on refunding my money. In the end, my outlets and light switch are working. Thank you.

Our house is brick which makes it a little more difficult but he did an excellent job and was very courteous and punctual. He cleaned up after he was done which is a plus for me, since I have had servicemen in my home that I had to clean up after. This summer we decided to move the TV down onto a console table so we needed to have the outlet and wiring moved down. I called Steve and he was here when he promised and suggested a different way to do the job which was not what I was thinking but He was right and I'm glad he made the suggestion. I think his rates our very reasonable. Our next project is running electricity out to our shed and we will definitely have Steve do the job.

Stephen answered his phone on the first call and spoke with me directly. He asked several questions to assess the situation and offered several suggestions for me to try before he came out to avoid unnecessary work/charges. He arrived within an hour of my call and took care of the problem quickly. Stephen was personable offered suggestion to avoid future problems and double checked his work fully corrected the issue. Wonderful experience!

Project included running new wires and connecting into existing switch panel. Once complete, job looked great. Amped's electricians were courteous, friendly, and prompt. Both inspections (rough and final) were passed with no issues. We were very pleased with every aspect of Amped's work.

Once again, Stephen has provided prompt, courteous, excellent service. Previously, he did the electrical installation for our new screened porch. He gave us great suggestions for what and where to put various lights, outlets, and TV connections, then did a superior job executing everything. He really added to our enjoyment of our porch. Yesterday, he returned to install several exterior and interior light fixtures in other areas of our house--a small job that he gave the same care he would a large job. Stephen also found why a previous installation (by someone else) had failed and remedied that. As I told him yesterday, I am really glad that Stephen is in this business. He gives homeowners such as me great confidence and peace of mind--at a reasonable price.

Steve initially came out because of an electrical circuit not working properly in our kitchen. He came the same day I called, at 7 pm at night, without an extra charge. At that time we decided to have him come back and do a whole house inspection of our electrical system, as our house is older and was initially wired by the previous homeowner. He came back a couple of days later (exactly on time), did the inspection, found several outlets and switches that were wired incorrectly and fixed them all. Throughout the process he kept me informed of what was going on and was extremely professional. He is very personable and what I especially liked, punctual!
