This contractor was sent by American Home Shield so I didn’t have a choice! Technician showed up on 05/29 and I explained the issues. AC unit was only working temporarily due to the loud noise and fan not functioning properly. He told me there was water in the unit??? One week goes by where I had to call them everyday to get update and one day, I am told that I had to pay them $450 before scheduling me because he will need to flush out the system and put the refrigerant back in and this isn’t covered by AHS. So I paid over the phone. Same guy showed up for maybe 45 min at the most to do the “work”. AC seems to work fine but 24hrs later, the loud noise and the fan issue came back again and we had to turn the unit off! Called them and they refused to come back out because they need another work order from the warranty company! We paid them directly $450 for something that they didn’t even fix in the first place! Also they never gave me a receipt or an invoice and my husband and I have called them repeatedly...

Tier 1 Heating and Air was responsive, thorough and did a very good job. The technician they sent, Zach Ward, was excellent and did a great job of explaining what went wrong and what was required to fix the problem. We can highly recommend Tier 1 and Zach Ward.

Our AC unit decided to stop working after 23 years of service. I was fully expecting that the unit was done. I reached out to a friend of mine who has been in the industry for 25 years and he put me in touch with Tier 1. Tier 1 arrived at the time they said they would arrive. After a thorough evaluation they were able to diagnose the problem and provide quotes on options to fix it. Tier 1 was able to make the repairs in about an hour. Overall, the service was professional and thorough. I have gone through a number of HVAC companies through the years, both big names and small ones, none came close to Tier 1. I would recommend them to anyone.

Zach was extremely professional and knowledgeable regarding my AC unit issues.

We have an agreement with them. They're all great. Very professional and courteous. I would give them A's across the board.

They weren't terribly informative as to what and why they replaced whatever they replaced. From my past experience, their pricing appeared a little high. I did ask for the part that they were replacing, but he said under some kind of regulations, they had to take the part. I wasn't terribly impressed by the gentlemen that provided the service. He was rather curt and not very communicative. But that's a personality issue. They did call in advance and came in a timely manner.

The appointment was scheduled for an 8 - 10 am window. They didn't show up or call. I called them and they said the repairman had been delayed and would be here soon. He hadn't showed by 11am, so I cancelled. I will not be hiring them again, as I value my time. On a positive note, the person I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant.

Prompt and efficient service. No issues with service or performance.

David was very prompt, courteous and neat. He put booties on before entering my home. He informed about the work he was performing and apprised me of some things that would need attention in time. He also changed my air filters for me as I am unable to use a footstool. Excellent customer service.

They call in advance to make sure arrival time is coordinated. Staff are well-trained and highly professional. Always do the job right--vet trust-worthy!

Compared to other companies that have come out, their services were average. Every other company has checked the intake inside but they did not. Also tracked mud into the house.

The technician, David Martinez, called me to ask if he could come earlier due to a prior appointment cancellation. I have had other Furnace technicians check out my furnace. But, David was the only technician who actually cleaned the Flame Sensor, as he had to pull out other larger components to do so. He was also the only technician to check the C02 exhaust pipe outside the house to ensure there was no blockage. Although young, he seemed well-trained, professional, and meticulous. I asked him several questions, which he answered to my satisfaction. He also gave me some tips.

These folks are the best ever at what they do. I would highly recommend them to others.

They did everything really well. They were really good.

It was essentially throwing $109 out the window of a car. Completely a waste of money. The service man who came to the house was there for maybe 30 minutes. Looked at the furnace for about 10 minutes, sprayed the outside condenser with a garden hose, went to his truck for 10 minutes and then gave me an estimate close to $500 for work needed. No explanation, no overview, just asking for more money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR!!

I'm just very happy with their company. I think that they have very reasonable prices. Their service people are very courteous, very helpful.

I'm having them out again in a few weeks. The first appointment went excellently! I've been using them for a couple of years and I've always found them to be very reliable in their service.

So then our system broke done in the summer and they came back out to figure out why it was so hot in the house and charged me another $79 and it wasn’t until I got a manager to come out that they discovered that they have never done the tune up to begin with. When they did finally come out to do the tune up it was great and it was fixed. We low on Freon and there was a leak some more.

They ended up finding other things wrong with our system so we ended up spending another $1000 with them and we still had problems. They were very responsive to us and once I got a hold if a manager he came out and did address the issue. I was actually about to have a baby.
