 + 0 moreI really love having our deck covered. There are no leaks in the roof and it even looks like our house was built with it like that and not added later. I think it took them about a week to get the whole roof finished however we did have rain one of the days they were supposed to be here.
Description of Work: A Deck Above added a roof on our existing 12x15 foot deck. Our deck is located on the back side of our house.

 + -1 moreWe really like how our new deck looks. They were able to get my deck done in about a week. A Deck Above cleaned all of the materials up every day. They made sure they had all of the nails and stuff picked up when they were done.
Description of Work: A Deck Above expanded our current porch into a large porch and deck of about 200 square feet. The material that they used to build my deck was pressure treated wood.

 + -1 moreSUBCONTRACTORS USED. START WAS DELAYED DUE TO LATE ORDERS AND ORDER/DELIVERY OF SOME WRONG MATERIALS. SUPPORT POST HOLES WERE DUG TO AN 11''-13'' DEPTH RATHER THAN THE STATED 18'' DEPTH. THE FRAME WAS MAINLY BOLTED TOGETHER, NOT JUST NAILED. THE DECK PLANKS WERE SECURED WITH SMALL FINISHING NAILS WHICH WERE INCONSPICUOUS. IT APPEARED THAT THE CREW WAS IN A RUSH TO FINISH SINCE SEVERAL MISTAKES WERE MADE. AFTER A PHONE CALL, THEY RETURNED AND CORRECTED THE ERRORS IN A TIMELY MANNER. WHEN THE JOB WAS FINISHED, WE FOUND MANY NAILS & SCEWS SCATTERED AROUND THE WORK AREA. BILLY SHAW WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND IT WAS APPARENT THAT HE WAS DEDICATED TO OUR SATISFACTION. THEY DID NOT REQUIRE ANY MONEY PRIOR TO OR DURING THE JOB. THEY ONLY WANTED PAYMENT AFTER THE JOB WAS COMPLETED AND WE WERE TOTALLY SATISFIED. THE DECK LOOKS GREAT AND WE WOULD BE PROUD TO SHOW IT TO ANYONE WHO WOULD LIKE TO SEE IT. THANKS BILLY & BEAMESDERFER FOR A GREAT JOB --- WELL DONE!!
