Stafford Painting

Hired this company, initially to paint the interior of my house. Owner, Ron, would do an ok job painting, but his neighbor, whom he hired to helped him did a horrible job. Unfortunately, I did not see where they cut corners until AFTER they were packed up and gone. They took two weeks longer to do the job than they originally told me. They would use my personal dishes to eat their lunch on and leave them in the sink! They stored their left-overs one day in my refrigerator WITHOUT asking me, as well as, drank my bottled water...again WITHOUT ASKING. I don't know why, but I hired them while they were painting my house to drywall then paint a room I was remodeling after Ron said he could do it cheaper than the estimates I recieved. I said ok then he asked for the money at the beginning of the job because he said he was low on funds due to business being so light. Again, I don't know why I did this but I agreed. He showed up a week late to start the job and would stop work to go and do other jobs because he needed the money. A month after he'd started, he was only half-way finished and it looked HORRIBLE. I told him he was fired and wanted my money back and he started yelling at me and said I was demanding and unreasonable. In the end I had to fire him, did not get my money back, and had to pay someone else to come in and fix the work he did which meant ripping most of it out and starting all over. STAY AWAY from this company, please!
