Lake Norman Tile and Renovations has established itself in the Charlotte area as one of the premier speciality tile, marble and stone installers in the area. However, these installation frequently include us doing entire renovation projects in the kitchen and bathroom areas. This includes demolition, design, cabinets, electric, plumbing, flooring, trimwork, and of course tile, stone and granite. We offer free estimates and are confident you will be more than satisfied with our work. Many contractors and remodelers simply say they can do the job and then proceed to hire unproven sub-contractors. Lake Norman Tile and Renovations has decades of experience personally remodeling kitchens and bathrooms, so we are familiar with permitting, codes, and especially finding the right material and fixtures for your renovation project. Description of Work: I remodeled my Kitchen and with the help of Angies list I found Lake Norman Tile and Renovations. Daniel was very professional and his crew did a great job installing my new beautiful counter tops. I would highly recommend them. Daniel even called back a week later to make sure I was still satisfied.

Description of Work: THEY HAVE DONE NO WORK, I'M EMAILING THEM TODAY AND ASKING FOR A REFUND OF THE BIG DEAL PURCHASE PRICE, DANIEL CALLS ABOUT EVERY 30 DAYS, BUT NOTHING LEADS TO REMODEL BEING DONE, IT SEEMS AS IF I HAVE BEEN RELUCTENT TO GO FOR AN UPSALE THEN THEY HAVE NOT BEEN EAGER TO DO WORK, WE BOUGHT THIS PACKAGE IN JANUARY, THEY HAVE HAD SUFFEINT TIME TO RESPOND.

Description of Work: We have not yet had the counter top installed because we have decided to have the granite installed in our new house instead of the house which it was originally planned for. We have delayed the installation and are not yet ready to reschedule. Daniel (Of Lake Norman Tile and Renovations) has been very cooperative.

Description of Work: Daniel came to our home to provide an estimate for remodeling of 2 bathrooms. The work included new vanities, countertops, sinks, toilets, shower repair and flooring replacement. On 9/4 I called Daniel to ask when we would receive an estimate and he stated we would have it by the end of that week. To date, 9/17, an estimate has not been provided. If a company does not wish to perform a job, or is too busy to contract for a job the company should be up front and let the client know,

Description of Work: I had questions about a 'big deal' a bathroom renovation $5000 for a $10,000 bathroom. He looked at the job and said my bathroom would be more than the big deal, came back with a quote of $13,000. I decided not to go with this company. It felt to much like a bait and switch situation. I haven't had any other bad experiences with an Angie's list 'big deal'

To all members that read this review, we try to point out that the price difference is due to few factors exceeding the specs in our Big Deal special. The above mentioned bathroom that we quoted, was much larger than the specs in our big deal special offer we ran. The floor square footage was almost three times that of the ad. I was asked to quote a full demolition with a new shower to build from scratch. This new shower needed to be built with a new wall in closure and frameless shower door . Also I was asked to include heating mat with digital controller for the entire bathroom floor. Part of it was running a new electrical line from the electrical panel for the radiant heat mat. In the quote was also included a 60 inch cabinet, with granite top and under mount porcelain sink. We were asked to quote tile nit only on the floor and shower walls, but also on the entire bathroom walks going 48 inches high. We were asked to quote a "turn key" bathroom quote, including wallpaper removal, plaster, painting and new finished crown moldings . Again we are just trying to point that the quote in question was much more complex and larger than the ad specs. We would advise all members to read all our previous reviews , to see a true reflection of our business conduct and professionalism .
