 + -1 moreIt went okay. I didn't use them. It was kind of difficult getting in touch with them. He came out the first time and everything went smoothly but he didn't get back with me for quite some time. The quote was $16,000. My first impression of them was that they were knowledgeable and knew what they were doing.

Description of Work: I interviewed 3 contractors (as we hear you should) and just felt right to use Scott and I am glad we did. He was very professional and asked all the right questions and more. He walked through every step and made frequent calls/conversations to keep us informed. The price was not the cheapest, but the work was more than supported by his costs. We have also asked Scott recently to propose on doing a full remodel and addition to a rental property we own.

 + 4 moreScott came by several times to understand the scope of the job before providing an estimate. On one of his visits he brought along the carpenter who would be doing the work to assess what was needed and to suggest solutions. Scott then went over various options on the type of windows we wanted. The tradesmen that were doing the work were very professional and seemed to be constantly at work. I was completely satisfied with the quality of the work performed. The tradesmen would be here promptly and early in the morning. Scott was here virtually throughout the time the work was done to ensure that we were satisfied with the work. We received compliments from neighbors on the look of the finished product. We were pleased with the way Scott kept us informed as the work progressed.
Description of Work: Through Scott, we had seven windows replaced, siding and trim replaced where needed, power wash of exterior, painting of exterior siding and shutters and painting of window trim.

 + 1 moreReplacing our door with one of superior quality has been an ongoing saga. We had dealt with several contractors over the past two years and experienced poor quality product and incorrect information. We decided to use Scott for this project since we had used him previously and were pleased with his work. Scott worked with with us to select a door and glass to our liking. The crew (carpenter and painter) were very professional and keep the area clean. Scott was there most of the time and the day after the work was done he came back to address any issues that we had. One issue was that the length of some of weatherstripping was slightly shorter than the door leaving a small gap. He put additional stripping on to our satisfaction. We were quite pleased with the work and received compliments from neighbors.
Description of Work: Remove and replace front door unit, including 2 sidelight windows and a transom and paint the new door and trim.

 + 1 moreScott was great. He came out on a Sunday afternoon to give me an estimate and was very reasonable. We scheduled the work and he performed above expectations. Scott showed up on time and did high quality work. I will be using him for all my home repair needs in the future.
Description of Work: Performed some home inspection repairs. Items included were replace rotting siding, seal leaking gutters and repair areas of wood rot around leaking gutters

 + 3 moreWith each task completed on time for a fair rate we came to really trust Scott and his company. I can't tell you what a relief it is to have a contractor or a handyman you can trust. Now when Scott says we need a more expensive part, We breathe easier knowing we are not padding the cost of his job.
Description of Work: We bought a fixer-upper before we realized we are not the handy type of home owners. We had estimates from a number of contractors. All of the ones we didn't choose left us feeling like they were just adding "MUST-HAVE" stuff or your house will be ruined. We even had a company give us the "we can't give you an exact price because of the cost of materials goes up" excuse. the problem is, there were things we just had to get done. However, we had been burned in the past so we decided to keep looking. We found Scott at Omnia Residential online and from the first phone call, we could tell this was a guy who knew what he was talking about and knew the difference from a recommendation to use better quality replacements and a scare tactic to use better quality. However, we were not ready to give him our whole punch list and say go to town. We started by having his service replace a ceiling fan, then a leaky dishwasher, then repairing some water damaged crown molding.
