My son in law was present for the inspection and he advised that the inspector arrived in a Lexus and did not obviously have a ladder to inspect the roof and/or upper part of the home which has a second story. The inspector provided a report which did identify several issues the home had which needed repair. However, after purchasing the home it was discovered that there were far more issues that should have been uncovered such as much more damage to the siding of the home than reported, much more damage to the entire front door frame than reported, leaking under the sink that was not reported, visual evidence of rotting of the disposal which was not reported and the dishwasher did not work through a full cycle and report did not indicate that the DW was checked by running a full cycle, the upstairs bathroom vent discharged in the attic and should have been vented out, the garage steps were loose and requires replacement. The lack of reporting these additional issues has resulted in several thousand more in repairs that could have been negotiated prior to sale had they been reported. When my son in law reported that the inspector did not arrive with a ladder that should have been a red flag......will not recommend this provider. I reported what I found after the purchase to the inspector and he has not had the courtesy to reply or offer some partial refund.
