Branch Out Tree Service

Les and his crew arrived at 9:00a.m. and worked until 3:30p.m.. They cut down 15 Leland Cypress trees that were over 25 ft high lining the back of our property line and one that was between our house and our neighbors. They did a great job being careful not to cause any property damage. The stumps were ground down and all areas were cleaned up. We would gladly recommend Les and his crew to anyone needing tree service.

I found Branch Out here on Angie's List while searching for tree experts. I had three different companies come out to give us quotes for the removal of 5 small trees. Les showed up right on time and seemed to be the most knowledgeable of the three representatives who came to offer quotes for service. His price was not the least expensive, however, I felt that his knowledge made up for the small price difference and it was worth it to us to pay a tad more to have his expertise. We had to push back the work due to weather, but once the crew got here they did a great job, quickly. I was specifically impressed with the clean-up which is highly important to me. They ran into an issue with our sprinkler system and Les brought out a professional to fix it. We are extremely happy with Branch Out's service and will use them again for future projects. Thank you! We were not even here when they came but when he gave us a quote, he was very professional and stopped to chat for a while and talked about the neighborhood trees he worked on. They called on the date that they had set originally, they could not come because there was a breakdown so we had to reschedule and we would not be there and they did it while we were out of town and we were pleased with the way things turned out. They were professional. They did complete clean up, took care of the lawn and actually our neighbors called and wanted to know who did it because they were going to use them also. They were very impressed with the job they did.

I contacted this company based on the rave reviews by Angie's List and also family member that used them in the past. I called one week and left a voicemail for Les to contact me for an estimate. I waited a little over a week and called back. I left another voice mail with my contact information and stated I had called before but did not hear from them. I have not received a call back. This is disappointing because I have heard they are reasonable and do a good job. Now that it is almost February, I desparetly need to have the pruning completed so I will have to call another company.

We were very pleased with Les and his team of workers. He always kept in touch for his appointment times and kept me up to date when he had to reschedule due to bad weather. Was very knowledgeable about trees needing pruned and some that needed removed that were shading other trees. They cleaned up the grounds when done. Very nice crew. Can't say enough good things about the work they did at our house. Will definitely be using them for future needs.

Les and his crew showed up on time and did a great job. Very responsive when called and he was very professional. Prices were competitive. The crew cleaned up well and even blew leaves from a larger area than the work site which was appreciated.

They were awesome. I compared them with other big name people. They cleaned up after themselves. I have another tree problem and I will call them to help me with that.

Called on a Saturday, he returned my call on Monday morning, came out on the same day and did the work. Did a great job at very reasonable price.

This is the 4th time I have used Les and his crew and I have never once regretted it! I have recommend him several times to our neighbors, friends, and colleagues; all have had great results using Branch out. The crew arrivied on time and quickly went to work as they always do. Les is always great about explaining how they will work (where they need to carry things, what you need to stay away from, where you can safely stand if you want to watch). They are always courteous, professional, efficient, and accomodating. When my neighbor found out I was having a tree removed, he asked if he could get some of the tree for his wood stove. The team not only put a large pile where I asked in my neighgbors yard, but they cut it down to size for him (extra work for them). They were done in about 4 hours, cleaned up and gone. You would hardly know anyone had worked in my yard by walking out there right now.

Branch Out Tree Service was prompt to their schedule, bringing a well-oiled team who arrived ready to get to work, each with their own responsibilities. The team was friendly, but not personal. In addition to the original job, the team also worked on several smaller issues that only appeared once the owner arrived with the team and equipment: at no extra charge to me (magical words.) Like I say, I have had three other businesses out to the house, and this fourth one has been the best. I have about 10 extra cards that i am taking with me on my neighbourhood walks, along with a small hand-written cards recommending this professional service. They do not overcharge, are willing to do extra work for no extra money, clean up professionally, what they quote is what they charge: BRANCH OUT TREE SERVICE, with Les at the helm, is my choice for tree and bush work !!!

Tree fell on my car overnight and I did not know it until the morning when I was leaving for work. According to the owner Les, the company was on the way to another job but came by my house and had the tree down and cleaned up in about an hour. Price really was not a consideration given my situation because few of the other 9 tree companies that I contacted were able to do it as quickly. Les came back to grind the stump about a week later when his schedule allowed for it.

Not well at all. I would not let them do the job now just because of there lack of caring

This is actually the second time we used Les and his team. They are incredibly reasonable and the work they do is quick and meticulous. The first time he removed 6 trees in our front yard and they did such a great job we asked them back to quote us on the backyard. We thought our budget would only allow for 5 or 6 trees but Les was so reasonable we ended up having 11 trees cut down, ground, and hauled away. He does give you the option to keep the mulch but we wanted it all removed. Most of our trees were "small" for Les but were tall pines. Les really knows his trees and can make great recommendations about their health and which ones may need to be removed eventually.

Les and his crew took down a large tree that was cracked at the base of the trunk and leaning over a storage shed. He was responsive, getting there as soon as he could. The work was professionally done. There were 7 of them so they had the tree down and the wood cut up in short order. I was very satisfied. Les is easy to work with. I have used him before, and would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

Les came out to give me a quote, and he was the best price for the work we needed (1 tree removed). Once I called him to schedule the removal, we settled on a rough date that he'd come out and remove the tree. We were flexible, and so was Les. His crew and he came out and did really good work. When we got home after the tree was removed, there was no mulch pile (as we had requested). Called Les, and explained there was a problem with his big wood chipper, and that he'd bring some mulch by the house the next day. He was great, and brought a whole load at no extra charge. Really pleased with the way the entire process went. Have already recommended him to neighbors and friends!

There was a crew of about 7 that arrived later in the afternoon. I didn't think they would be able to get it done before dark, but they did. They cleaned up well behind them and chipped up all the branches. The stump grinder they use is remote-controlled with a spinning blade and it does a neat job of grinding the entire stump under the ground. I was very happy with the results.

Crew arrived on time, and was professional and courteous. Work was performed as quoted and we were happy with the results. They did clip a gutter with a falling branch, but came out two days later and fixed it without question. Would definitely recommend to others.

I had a great experience with Branch Out Tree Service. Les came out to our house on a Saturday morning (within 24 hours of initial contact), evaluated the work to be done and provided a quote on the spot. The quote came in meaningfully below those I had received from other companies. Better yet, Branch Out was able to perform the work the following week, whereas I was given a 3-4 week lead time from other companies. Les and his crew arrived on time and completed the work in two days, as promised, despite some inclement weather and the addition of some work that was not originally discussed (once trees come down you inevitably find others that need to come out!). The crew did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves and was very polite. I would highly recommend Branch Out Tree Service.

We weren't planning on having any tree work done until another company working in our neighborhood knocked on my door. I knew we needed to have some trees removed, so I asked him to give me and estimate. Being a serious comparison shopper, I then called my neighbor to get the name of the company who recently removed some trees for them. She gave me the number to Branch Out Tree Service. After looking at their history on Angie's list, I called Les and he was out that very afternoon to look over our property and come up with a plan. He provided an estimate on the spot which was considerably less than the first company and actually involved removing more trees. We agreed upon a date to do the work. Les and his crew arrived on time with everything they needed for the job. They were very professional, courteous and thorough. I was amazed at how well they cleaned up the yard after removing so many trees. We will definately use Branch Out Tree Service again. In fact, before he left, I spoke with Les about some trees around the pool yard that need to be removed.

Les called back promptly, came the next day to survey the job, gave me a price on the spot, which was significantly lower than the other price I received. He then came two days later to do the work. Excellent service.

After receiving 4 different quotes from various tree services to take down a very large white oak tree (I couldn’t get my arms around it) close to my house, I put the project on the back burner. The quotes ranged from $2,600. to $1,800.00. One service wanted to bring in a crane, lay down plywood in my neighbors yard and haul the tree off in 8 foot lengths (I guess to resell). Another company with a similar quote, to the first, wanted me to sign a release that I would not sue or file a claim on his insurance "for any damage to my house that result from the tree removal". The lowest quote I received for $1,800.00 was from 4 "questionable" guys. When I tried to call them to ask about an additional tree problem, the phone has been disconnected. I gave up and put the project on the back burner. Someone at work suggested I call Les at Branch Out Tree Service. He had done several jobs for her and she couldn’t say enough good things about him. I called and he came out a few days later to give me a quote. We discussed leaving firewood and whether or not to grind the stump. The quote was $850.00……...less than half of the other quotes I received! I put the written quote Les gave me on my desk and intended to call him the next week. Some family issues came up and the project was shelved again. When I called Branch Out Tree Service 5 months later, we scheduled a time for that same week. The crew of 5 “easy on the eyes” guys showed up on time and worked as a well oiled machine. The tree came down in just a few hours. I got my firewood length logs and the debris was taken to the chipper parked out front. The guys even took out a few dead limbs from some other trees in the yard. When they left (about 5 hours later) my back yard was cleaned up, the firewood was stacked and only the only clue that a tree was ever there was the stump and some saw dust. If I had wanted the stump ground, it would have been an additional $200.00, but I chose to keep it for a birdbath base. Before they left, they ended up across the street taking down a tree for my neighbor. They swept up the debris left on the street and were gone. I could have not been more pleased.
