 + -1 moreWe used him when we had a different house. We have a different house now and we don't use gutter service anymore. Benton was a good guy and I liked him. We used to use him once or twice a year. He is pretty good. I used him for a number of years. He usually came out with another fellow. Everything was done fine and I had no problem. They were very quick, efficient, came in, did the job and left. Their price was right and they were prompt and professional. They came right out when I needed them.
Description of Work: He cleaned the second story gutters. He cleaned the upper gutters and I could usually do the lower gutters myself. I didn't have any ladders or anything like that to go up that high so that is what I used him for.

 + -1 morecalled for estimate. Owner stated it was a flat $150 fee just to come out, whether they did a repair or not, and that it would only be more if the repair was large. Worker came out at scheduled time and performed repair in a very timely manner.

 + -1 moreHe was very good. I called him on the weekend and it took him some time to get back with me. Andy is his name. He pushes you to buy new gutters, but I just stuck to what I had him do. Overall performance he did very well.

 + -1 moreWe don't have a lot of leaves in our area. When I called him this time he came out, checked our gutters and roof and didn't find more than a handful of leaves. He found one board at the edge of the roof that needed a new nail in it and he did that. He refused to take any payment even though he had spent gas money to come to our house.
Description of Work: About every 18 months I call Mr. Benton to come check our gutters.

 + -1 moreI called four gutter companies, on a Wednesday, that were listed on Angie's List. Two out of four companies didn't call me back at all. One out of the four finally called me back on the following Monday and said she had been on vacation but her voicemail did not say that. Mr. Andy Benton of Benton Gutter Service was so nice and polite and called me back within a day of my first call. He was also prompt when he came for my estimate and his son was on time when he came to do the job. The work was neat and well done. There wasn't a speck of debris or rubbish or dirt left when they were done. Benton Gutter Service was fair and honest and responsive. I can't say enough nice things about them. Other companies should learn how to do business from them. They know how to make the customer happy. I will recommend them to others.
Description of Work: I knew I had at least one cracked gutter and that water was washing over another area of our gutters. I couldn't tell from the ground what else might be wrong. Benton Gutter Service called me back one day after my initial call and came out for an estimate on the first Saturday so that I didn't have to miss any work. Mr. Andy Benton, owner, was very thorough and checked all my gutters and found that I had three downspouts that were blocked with wet leaves. He cleaned the leaves out right then, without even asking to be paid, then found three places where I needed flashing on the roof edge to prevent my roof from rotting, and where one nail was missing that was integral to support my gutters. He recommended replacing only three out of six downspouts with a larger diameter downspout and said I only needed gutter guard in one area where the worst clog was. He gave me a fair written estimate without pressure to make a decision on the spot. I never felt he was trying to ''up sell'' me.

 + -1 moreANDY PROVIDED GOOD SERVICE, CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD, NICE INSTALLATION. GAVE ME A COUPLE OF OPTIONS ON GUTTER SIZES AND GUTTER GUARD (TOP). THOUGHT HE PROVIDED A GOOD SERVICE AT REASONABLE PRICE. HE'S INSTALLED GUTTERS ON TWO OF MY HOUSES NOW AND I'LL DEFINITELY USE HIM AGAIN.
