glass repair
+ -1 moreHe was willing to replace the glass, instead of the entire window. Because of its odd shaped, it would have cost us a lot more and almost impossible to do. Because of this, he was able to save us some money. I would use him again in the future.
Description of Work: We hired him to replace the glass in our odd shape windows.

+ -1 moreI had a front door that was dragging badly on the floor. I thought I needed a carpenter to shave it down and rehang it. Dean came and saw that it wasn't a problem with the door, but with the floor. After jacking up and shimming the sagging section, the door fit close to perfectly. For safety's sake (and a long term fix), Dean recommended replacing the pier that was deteriorating which he did promptly and sufficiently. He was good to his estimate, prompt and pleasant. Dean has considerable experience as a general contractor but is now focused on carpentry and glass, so even though this project turned out to be out of his current line of work, he didn't just drop the project and leave us back at square one. And that says as much about the person as does the business.
Description of Work: One pier of our 100-year-old foundation was replaced.
