Description of Work: I had originally planned to replace my cabinet doors and resurface my cabinets. However, after discussing this with Harold, I learned that he could replace my cabinets for about the same some others had quoted me for resurfacing and replacing doors. This is the fourth kitchen I’ve remodeled and Harold was one of the best contractors I have ever used. He did all the work himself, and I appreciated that. His work ethic was excellent. His pricing was low and the quality of his work was very high. His communication was great. He was open to input and questions. He offered suggestions on the cabinets and backsplash that I wouldn’t have thought of but that turned out great. He was reliable: always coming when he said he would and doing everything he’d promised. He tore out our cabinets with the least mess possible, cleaning up after himself each day. He worked late one night to ensure we had a working kitchen that day before returning the next to complete all the details. I knew I would have him install my backsplash after seeing the job he did on the cabinets and countertops This was my first experience with Harold. I had chosen him based on the positive reviews I found online and I’m so glad I did. I recommend him without hesitation and will certainly use him for future projects.

Description of Work: Harold refaced our kitchen cabinets, replaced our cook top , microwave oven combo , new sink. extended our counter top so we could have a breakfast bar , And recommended a granite company to replace our Formica top.. He also made an awesome back splash.

+ -1 moreContacted Harold and emailed measurements and pictures of the job to get a rough quote. This was helpful as I did not have to wait for him to come out and possibly waste his or my time to get a quote After getting a couple other quotes, I decided to go with this company. Harold came out again to do the template measurements and collect 50% deposit. Less than a week later he came back and installed the countertops. They look great. Another positive: The kitchen had a corner sink base, and the size of the sink base made putting a double bowl sink challenging. Harold had no problems scooping the sides of the cabinets to fit the double bowl sink. Everything was cleaned up after the job. Will use Harold again on another project.

+ -1 moreHe was very kind and his work was top notch. My husband was very particular about how he wanted the corners done and even drew it on the wall, Harold made sure it was exactly how we wanted but made sure to give us his opinion on what would look good.

+ 0 moreAfter another vendor told me they couldn't fit me in for a week, I called Harold with American Cabinetry based off their Angie's List reviews. Although it was short notice and a VERY small job, Harold said he could come out right away. He arrived within 30 minutes and assessed the situation. The counter top (the laminate and the counter top itself) had separated from the island cabinetry, but the counter top was still intact (undamaged). Without trying to up-sell me, Harold said he could reattach it for the minimal trip charge, $50... saving me from having to go a week with no counter top on the island. He was quickly able to reattach it securely. After the work was finished, I asked him about some options for refinishing or resurfacing when we decide to do that and he gave me some good ideas and ball park pricing.
Description of Work: Repaired counter top that was coming off island in kitchen.

+ -1 moreHarold did such a good job. I was really happy with the way it looked. He is so pleasant to work with and he is very talented at what he does. He purchased the laminate that I selected, arrived on time, and really did a nice job. I would hire him again and plan To do so in the future.

+ 0 moreHarold did an awesome job! His quoted price was lower than another quote I had gotten, yet the work he did was A+++. He really paid a lot of attention to detail and made sure everything was just right. One of my cabinets was pulling away from the wall, which I was not aware of, and he repaired that while he was refacing it (no extra charge). One of the new doors had a hairline crack in it that I would not have noticed right away, but he arranged to have it returned and replaced, again no extra charge. The only negative is that now my cabinets look so much better than the rest of my kitchen that I am going to have to consider replacing the countertops too. I will definitely have Harold do that work too if I decide to have it done.

Description of Work: I would like to say Harold is one of the nicest people I ever met. I had laminate counter tops and a tiled back splash put in. Harold came to my house and showed me samples of laminate. I couldn't make up my mind and he suggested I call the different laminate companies for bigger samples. Harold has so much patience. After I picked out my laminate and tile, Harold gave me an estimate and that was the final cost. Harold immediately ordered the laminate and as soon as it came in, he was able to install it. Harold is very meticulous in his work. He does a wonderful job. I am so happy with the way my kitchen looks. Harold also noticed my refrigerator was leaning. He actually staightened it up for me. This was above and beyond because he didn't even need to move my refrigerator. I would definitely hire him again and I would also recommend him to someone else.

+ 0 moreHarold arrived on time and was very professional. He gave me a estimate that was in line with other estimates I had received. I gave him a deposit to replace both kitchen counter tops and bathroom vanity. He called when materials arrived (within 2 weeks/ as he had said) and we set up time to install. Once again he arrived on time to complete both jobs....they look wonderful! He did such a good job my husband asked him to also come back to do a backsplash. I can't tell you how much I am impressed with this gentleman and his work. He listened to what I wanted (instead of trying to tell me what I wanted), gave wonderful advice and is a great craftsman. He is very detailed and works extremely hard. I live in a 1960's house; things in this house are built to stay..he chugged through it all(bless you Harold). My kitchen and bath look brand new. My neighbors have also hired him to remodel their bathroom. I would not hesitate to call him again. Thank you Harold!
