Mike came by and inspected the system in the attic and found that a board had been fried. He didn't have one in the truck, but returned first thing the next morning with the replacement part. He was prompt, courteous, and friendly - and, most importantly, got my AC working...

No repair was made I had to call another service provider and will use them now.

Mike Anderson and his crew did an outstanding job. They were quick efficient, and gave a fair price. They also provided assistance in getting the proper paperwork to obtain the $1500 federal tax credit, along with rebate of $300 from Piedmont Gas and $200 from Duke Energy for installing an energy efficient system.

Called on Monday and had appointment for Wednesday scheduled on Monday. I had just moved and inspection report was reviewed for concerns regarding HVAC. Work needs to be done in Spring. I did replace my old Thermostat with a programmable one to help save energy. Very timely and courteous. Will call back in Spring to work on Attic Fan.

I got 3 estimates on a new hvac system for my upstairs and downstairs, including all new ductwork. All 3 quotes were similar, but I have been using A&G for a couple years now servicing my old unit and believed in their trustworthiness and integrity. Mike and his crew did a wonderful job and we are all nice and cool in our house right now!

It went great. They were on time, very professional, very neat. Mike and his Team were very friendly and easy to work with. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

My air conditioning went out. I called A & G late in the afternoon. Mike Anderson came to my house around 6pm. I told him I had heard what sounded like an explosion near the unit earlier in the day. He went to troubleshoot the unit. He came back saying it was the thermostat as he was able to get the air working from the crawl space. He removed the old one and started telling me he could see how they had problems with it in the past and one of the wires wasn't hooked up, blah, blah, blah. He put the new one on and still nothing. He went back to the unit and found that it was the contactor. I told him I had replaced that part 1 year ago. He told me his was a better part and that his cost was $15. He went out and got another thermostat. This time he turned it on and it worked. I asked him to put my old one back on as it was the contactor not the thermostat. He talked in circles but convinced me I needed a new thermostat as well. It kept eating at me and so I put my old thermostat up and it worked just fine. I called the office and let them know that my old thermostat worked just fine. She told me that Mike would have to call me back if I wanted a refund. She called me back later to say that she would be sending me a check (which I got 2 days later) for the thermostat and that Mike would be by to pick up the new one. Last week a tradesperson (a different trade) was here for an estimate. We got to talking and he told me that Mike was one of his best friends. I gave him the thermostat to give him. I am a single female and this is not the first time I have been taken advantage of and I am sure it won't be the last. Mike Anderson is either very bad at what he does or he knowingly sold me something he knew I didn't need.

They were very polite and fast. They were easy to work with and I thought the price was reasonable.

After being told by another company that my HVAC system needed to be replaced, Mike came out, inspected the system and pronounced it still fine. It seems that the other company pays its techs on commission and encourages them to upsell. A & G was one of 3 companies I had out that day to inspect the system and all of them told me the system was fine. Mike is an honorable guy who runs an honest business.

We always use A&G for our heat and air needs. They are prompt, courteous and professional and are very up front and honest about what needs to be done. They don't try to tack on extra services that you don't need.

Second time I've used these guys and they're great. The price and service was excellent.

We called them after finding out that the furnace wouldn't come on. We contacted them on a Thursday and they came by Friday morning to give us an estimate. Mr. Anderson let us know about a rebate offer on furnaces that would be good through the following Monday, giving us a chance over the weekend to review the various options. He called us on Monday morning, and we made our decision on a model. They came promptly Tuesday morning and got the furnace installed that day. On Wednesday they were able to finish installing the new heat pump. All in all, they were extremely efficient, professional and courteous. They also let us know that our return air system was undersized and we would need an additional return air vent installed on the first floor, which they completed on Wed. We highly recommend A & G Services.

I think the servicemen were very good. We did have a problem with our scheduling. They lost our schedule a couple of times before they got it right. There was obviously some sort of lack of communication at the company.

Great. This is the 2nd time I have used A&G and found them in Angie's List originally. They are the only company I will use for Heat and air.

They are a family-owned business and are just great people to work with. They have great integrity and honesty. They were able to keep a unit working for two more years when others had said that I needed to replace it at the time. They also gave me the lowest estimate and did great work.

Obtained quotes over the phone from several top rated companies on Angie's List. A&G seemed very knowledgeable, professional, and the price was right. Actual quoted price was $1,426.01. They did the job and I was very impressed. In addition to replacing the coil, they also recommended and added a safety float switch in my overflow pan at no additional charge. In fact when the job was done, they only charged me $1,300.00 because the job ended up being easier than what was predicted over the phone. I will definitely use these guys again.

Excellent job. Came out and looked at the job, called me with an estimate and gave me a web site where I could look at the product he was recommending. After looking I selected a fan with a higher CFM than he had recommended and when I explained why he agreed with the reasoning. Arrived on time for the installation, coordinated with electrical contractor and all the work was done and complete in about 3 hours. Cleanup was adequate. We had to sweep parts of the kitchen floor but only superficially.

The job went very well. Mike was prompt and efficient. The only issue we had was that when we went back to the house later, we noted that there was no hot water. Apparently, when they repaired the gas leak and re-lit all of the pilot lights, they turned the water heater down to the lowest setting and never turned it back. So, we had to go up into the attic and reset the water heater temperature.

I've never had a negative experience with A & G. Worked me in fairly quickly & completed work in a timely, courteous manner. They're pretty busy but work hard to make you happy. Keep up the good work.

Although the repair reps were very professional, it was not worth the time or money to do business with this company.
