Description of Work: Termite prevention. I had a coupon for the termite treatment that involves drilling through the perimeter of the concrete garage and foundation trenching. Triangle Pest Control technicians and office personnel were very courteous and helpful, answering any questions I had along the way and did not seem to be in a rush to complete the job, meaning they took their time to do it right. I dreaded getting this work done that was overdue by a couple years, but Triangle Pest Control was a pleasure to work with. I would - and will - use them again.

Description of Work: Supposively put ut poisons to prevent rodents and bugs. I have not been able to find evidence of the poisons being placed. The real problem was I was asked to come outside and look at termites that were up against our foundation. What caught my attention was that only one 8 inch section had been checked and there were a number of bugs there. I was advised that I needed to purchase an $800 service to remove the infestation. When I declined, I was offered a $350 service that would trat just the area where the bugs were located. Again, I declined. Interestingly, when the young man left, I went outside to inspect the termites found and miraclously they had all disappeared. I really believe that our site was "salted" so that I would purchase the unnecessary service. This is a relatively new home that was inspected within the year for termites so I knew the offer was bogus. The provider will say that I should have called them to complain but that would not prevent this kind of behavior. I would not recommend this service provider.

Response from Triangle Pest Control LLC
This customer purchased a one time service which would eliminate the rodents and bugs he had inside his home. It included a 30 warranty. Although the review did not say that his problem with rodents and bugs continued but if they had we would have happily returned until the problem was resolved. We wish this customer had contacted us after the termites were found during the inspection. If he had we would have educated him on typical termite behavior. Termites do not like light. Therefore, once they are disturbed, they will retreat back into the ground to escape the light. This is most likely what happened during the time he went into his home. Triangle Pest Control would never "salt" a site, as stated by the customer. As shown in our numerous positive reviews, we are not that kind of company. Although this customer did not choose our company for his termite treatment, I sincerely hope that he had them treated by someone. Otherwise, he may experience costly termite damage to his new home.
