Michael was quick to respond on Angie's list. A date was decided upon and Michael arrived on time and ready to go. He provided plastic coverings for the various areas to be repaired. Because of the 3hr time limit on the deal, he was unable to complete the sanding needed after the mud dried. I did that the next day. He cleaned up all the areas and vacuumed. I would recommend him.

Very good experience. There was a slight delay getting the appointment set up because of the popularity of the offer, but that was very understandable and reasonable. One the day, Michael showed up exactly on time, fully prepared, tore into the job and did a huge amount of work in three hours. He replaced an overhead 8x4 sheet and did considerably patching work around a door. I couldn't be happier and Schleter Drywall is now my default for anything in the future. Totally recommended.

Mike was great. Very responsive with scheduling and then confirming the appointment. He took time to tape off the room, worked diligently for 3 hrs and cleaned everything up like he was never there (except that the wallpaper was gone and the walls were smooth!) I would definitely refer Mike.

Mike was awesome. I had water damage in the garage ceiling from a second story flood. A remediation company had to cut out a section of the ceiling drywall to help with the drying process. I hired Mike to repair the missing drywall. The process went well. The repaired area looks excellent. I will be hiring Mike for more work in the future.

Mike arrived on time. After introductions and viewing water damage. Mike placed a cloth down and proceeded to scape away the old plaster. Applied several coats of plaster to conceal and make area smooth again. Removed down cloth, vacuumed and was ready to go in the alotted time.

Fast, thorough and well done. Schleter Painting and Drywall also did a terrific job of covering the entire areas of the repairs and ensuring a complete clean up.

Mike and his crew were awesome. They removed the popcorn ceiling from our new (26yr old) house. They smoothed, primed and painted them. Fixed all imperfection at no extra cost. We had them paint our 14ft walls in vaulted master and stairwell. They skim-coated a bathroom wall in need of repair. The whole crew was great. I will definitely use them again!!!

With all the busy-ness in our lives, we kept putting off removing all the wallpaper in one of our bathrooms. Saw a deal for such on Angie's List, read all the great reviews on Mike's workmanship, and decided to have him finish it up. He communicated very well, arrived promptly and worked efficiently. There is no way we could have completed the job as well as he did. Most amazingly he prepped the area and cleaned up without a trace of his even being here! Mike gave us pointers and suggestions for completing the next steps, along with a reasonable estimate if we wanted him to help. Given the quality of his work, we are also considering hiring him for our future re-painting work needed this spring. He is knowledgeable and easy to work worth, and we highly recommend him.

Mike was very easy to work with. He gave a clear, detailed estimate. He and his crew were prompt and courteous. The plastering and painting took just 3 days. The sanding did leave a fine layer of dust throughout the house, but it was not unexpected. I would hire Mike and his team again.

In preparing our home for a possible sale, we needed to have a sloughing drywall "popcorn" surface treatment repaired in two very difficult to access skylights. One was about 20 feet above the floor in a stairwell and required a precarious positioning of ladders or the setting of scaffolding to get into it as well as being so small that working in it was extremely cramped. We contracted with Michael Schlecter to do the work and he did a fine job. The job involved some risk and working at this height in a hot, cramped space required special skill and dexterity. The resulting job was excellent and the match of new surface popcorn with old is close enough to be unnoticeable unless one is specifically looking for it. The price for this job was high, but reflected the degree of difficulty and risk involved more than the actual surface treatments. His price was in line with what others who looked at the job said it would cost, but who were unwilling to take it on.

Mike arrived on time and insured he understood exactly what I needed and didn't try and sell me more. Mike's quote was equal to two other quotes but liked the fact that he lived just down the road. The work took around 5 hours spread over 3 days. The end result was great!

They do a very good job. They are very professional and they also do a great job cleaning up after themselves. This is my third time to use them.

Mike did an outstanding job! We cannot detect where any of the holes or evidence or poor patch job were. The ceiling looks like new - perfectly smooth and freshly painted. Could not be happier. Would use him again for any drywall/painting job.

Mike and his crew did a nice job of removing the popcorn and resurfacing the ceilings. There were a few gaps that showed up between ceiling and walls that had to be repaired for an additional charge but this seemed reasonable. They crew was polite and considerate, and did a pretty good job of cleaning up the mess that is created. Expect to do a couple of more floor cleanings afterwards because regardless of how much plastic is put up (and they put up a lot) the powder manages to find its way around the plastic. I did have to point out a few places that had to be re-finished when they were ready to leave and feel that they should have inspected the job more carefully themselves, but they were quick to take care of these fixes. I would have given straight A's if the job had finished in one week as estimated rather than two weeks.

Mike is just amazing! The work that he and his team was TOP-NOTCH! Absolutely TOP-NOTCH! I was traveling abroad the whole time and was not there to check in or watch the work progress. Turns out I didn't need to be. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mike and his team. He will be the ONLY company working on drywall in my house. Thank you Mike!

Received a call from Mike very quickly after emailing. Emailed pictures of work required-he quoted me based on the photos. Arrived exactly on time, performed flawless work, was done quicker than I expected, left no trail. Would use again and recommend in a heartbeat-this is the kind of provider you hope for every time you call someone.

It was fine. They were pretty efficient when they came. They didn't waste time.

My husband replaced the bathroom fan, unfortunately, we had a popcorn ceiling. Instead of scraping the whole ceiling down, we just called Schleter to match up the popcorn ceiling. We've used them 3 times, they were always prompt and answer us back right away.

It turned out really well. They did a good job. He was able to perform the services very quickly. If I need to get the service done quickly, I would use them. If I had a little more time to prepare, I may look for others.

Mike and his crew were hired to complete the removal of popcorn ceilings and wallpaper while my house was empty. The work was to be completed before we arrived, and I communicated clearly what date he could expect us. When we arrived we found that Mike was just starting the job, and had put other work in front of our job because he thought we would stay at a hotel, which made n sense So instead of walking into a finished project we lived through a total mess for 7 days. The price increased significantly because there were multiple layers of wallpaper. There was little explanation about what the additional charges covered. I had to have the crew come back 3 times to fix small issues that should have been repaired while they were in the house. All In all the workmanship was OK but not as professional as I expected based on the outstanding reviews here on Angie's list. I have hhad to repair several areas on the ceiling myself s I cannot face calling them back yet again.

He did a good job. They are doing out side of our house. They did a fantastic job on the inside. I had some water damage fillings. They have done a lot of work for me, They are efficient and really nice. I highly recommend them. I am really impressed with the quality of their work and the good customer service. People had recommended them highly on Angie's list.
