Mike and Terry did a fantastic job. Their estimate was fair (half the price of our new home builder), they were on time, friendly, and super responsive via phone call and text. They used quality products and had great eye for detail. They spent 50% of the time prepping and the other 50% of their time painting. I would most definitely hire Mike again. Great experience and really, nothing negative to say about the experience.

Mike was very responsive, and set up an appointment within a few days. We walked the house, and he gave great suggestions on how to approach the job since it's a rental. He did a great job of color matching the walls, so that we only had to put on one coat of paint to freshen up the place. He also did a great job of patching all the nail-holes, etc... He and his crew came out very quickly, and got the job done in only a couple of days. They did a great job, and kept it on budget.

Mike showed up exactly when he said he would for day 1, he worked quickly and professionally. On day 2 Mike sent 2 workers to finish the painting. They painted the entire 1st floor ceiling, were prompt, careful to cover everything and finished exactly when Mike said they would.

I needed to hire someone to repair my living room ceiling that was damaged by a water leak from an upstairs shower. Mike Schleter did an awesome job! Not only did he patch the ceiling but he removed the popcorn texture and primed and painted it so that it looked better than ever! He did the same for our foyer and half bath. I am so pleased with the results-I would not hesitate to hire him again!

Very well! Mike was very efficient - he came out and looked at the hole, provided the date of repair, and completed the work neatly and efficiently. He put in new drywall in the open space one day and painted another day. Ceiling now is very smooth; someone wouldn't be able to tell there was work done.

Mike and his crew are excellent. VERY high quality work. Paint matched perfectly. Fantastic service. Friendly, professional and they do what they say they're going to do. They enjoy what they do, and it shows.

Prompt responses, showed up when he said he would, did a great job, cleaned up afterwards and charged a fair price. Really helped me out on short notice and I would highly recommend.

After removal of old lights and installation of 20 new recessed lights, we had 2 ceilings that were in desperate need of repair. I requested estimate for repair and painting ceilings. Michael came out to look over project, gave me a written estimate, explained their schedule was busy and it might take a few weeks to get to. It did end up taking that long but fine with me. Next day he came, put down lots of plastic protection, and did about 5 hours of patching, solving some issues that came up. Next morning Michael and crew of about 3 came to sand and paint. I felt fine leaving them there to work while I was away. When I got home the work areas were clean, and I'm happy to say now we have a normal, bright ceiling and you cannot tell there were ever holes there. This should be the goal of repair/paint work and I'm happy to say they provided such. Would recommend and use again. Price of $900 reasonable for the effort and time it took to do this.

Mike was very flexible in accommodating our hectic schedule when he came to our house to give us a quote. He was prompt, polite, and professional. His quote was by far the best from the quotes we received. He also does painting of ceilings after fixing them. Bonus! Great guy and great company.

I contacted Mike to complete ceiling repairs. I sent Mike pictures of the damage and he provided an estimate of $160. I was OK with the cost, but Mike was not able to fix it as soon as I needed the work to be completed. We had new carpet coming in a week and I needed to get the ceiling repaired prior to installation. Based on what others had written about Mike's services on Angies List I would have selected him based on those ratings and his quote was very reasonable. However, the time factor did not allow me pursue his services further. Mike was very professional and I would contact him in the future should the need arise again.

I met with 3 contractors to get estimates, but only 2 responded. Although the other company had performed excellent work for me in the past, there appeared to be some communication problems within the company that made me somewhat leery of hiring them until they could reorganize. So I went with Schleter Painting and Drywall. Mike told me that it would be 3-4 weeks before they could get to our house and the work would take 3-4 days to complete which was OK with us as we were in no hurry. After 3 weeks I contacted Mike to see if he could give a more definite time, and was told either that Wed afternoon or the following morning, depending on how the current job went. He called Wed morning to say that they would definitely be there Thursday at 8:30 and they were. After moving and covering furniture and floors, Cliff, Chris and Tim spent the first 2 days making repairs, power washing the deck, and painting the ceilings. We had no idea what color was used on the ceilings when the house was built 13 years ago, but these experts figured it out and came up with a perfect match saving us a lot of money since the entire catherdral ceiling did not have to be painted. On Saturday Chris and Cliff returned to seal the deck. They ran a little short on the product and couldn't finish the deck till Monday morning. They returned promptly Monday morning to do that and also paint the walls. Their initial attempt at matching the wall paint based on the original color was not very successful, so before leaving on Saturday they cut out a small piece of the wall paint and returned Monday with another perfect match. They cleaned up afterwards and helped put the furniture back before they left. The price was reasonable, and the crew friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would definitely hire them again and have already recommended them to a neighbor.

Mike was very nice and did a great job! He protected everything in the work area and cleaned up well. Spent one day installing additional screws and ensuring everything was secure and then taping and mudding. He then came in the following day and sanded everything ready for paint. He did excellent work for us and was great to work with. Only downside is it took a couple of weeks from when he did the estimate to when he could perform the work, since he was so busy.

He was really good. He came right over and gave me an estimate and followed up and did the work, got it all done in one day. So, it was really a great job. He was really reliable, prompt, and I can't even tell where the damage in my ceiling was. It was perfect, and he matched the paint for me because I didn't have the paint. He did a really good job. Actually, he did paint another place on the ceiling in my house and that's done perfectly too. He just kind of did both of those at once. There were few other jobs that I'm just going to wait and have him come back when I have the money. I would probably use him again in a few months.

Mike responded quickly and came over to give me a detailed estimate. walking me through the work he would do. Very few contacted providers were able to handle the work, since the height of the ceiling required scaffolding to be set up. lthough I didn't get estimates from other providers, the price was reasonable considering the amount of work/equipment and was what I expected based on ballparks given to me by other sources. Mike mentioned they were about two weeks out, and this was in line with when I scheduled the work. His team of three people came over, set up the scaffolding and drop cloths, and got to work. It took two days since the mud needed to dry overnight, and the texturing/painting was done the second day. Despite covering everything in plastic and drop cloths, the popcorn texture did find its way to some of the walls but I was able to wipe it off. The team did also track in some mud but helped me clean it up once they saw me scrubbing it from the carpets. They also rinsed the paint buckets and dumped them into the grass in several spots around the side of the house, leaving the grass white in several spots. They also leaned some equipment against the white garage door and left some oily spots on it, but I was able to remove these. The ceiling took a day to dry and didn't match the original texture, and the repair was very noticeable after the work was done. I texted Mike a picture and he came over right away to have a look. He was very adamant about fixing it correctly and knew the problem immediately (it was not completely unexpected given the age of my ceiling). The team was able to come back out two days later with a ladder - everything was recovered in plastic, primer was applied, and the texture was reapplied. He even went back and added more texture to an area that I thought looked fine, but he thought was not covered sufficiently. There was no issue with cleanliness the second time around, other than some oversprayed texture on the one wall that wasn't covered in plastic (I wiped this off later). After it dried for a day, the repair looked amazing and was not noticeable at all; I was surprised that the and color texture matched on a 20-year-old popcorn ceiling. Overall I was really impressed with Mike and his team and wouldn't hesitate to use them again for drywall repair. The only improvements I could see would be the relatively minor cleanliness issues (most service providers tend to be a little lax in this area), and to verify the work charges versus the estimate before payment (they touched up the paint but the original estimate including matching paint and painting entire walls; Mike was very gracious about changing this on the invoice). I had some difficulty even getting estimates from many providers but Mike was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, and the repair looks great. A

Removed some textured ceiling, taped where needed, mudded and sanded and painted walls and ceilings. All done in professional and prompt manner. Would use them again for sure.

The wallpaper had been installed with a glue like substance, not paste, in our bathroom. He worked very hard to get the wallpaper off without damaging the Sheetrock. The room was 5' X 12' and three walls were removed by him; this wallpaper was very difficult to remove, I had steamed it, used DIF and scraped it but with only mediocre results. We had him quote the glue removal and skimming that is needed to repair the Sheetrock since we were pleased with his work and work ethic.
