After appointment was made he came over and patched various sheetrock throughout the house, he did a wonderful job, was very pleased with his work. He was very quick getting this done as there were some large areas that needed a log of patching, so I was very surprised and delighted at how much else he was able to do in the time alloted. He came back the next day and sanded and had all walls paint ready. Would highly reco mmend. Will definitely use again.

He was on time, was very careful to protect surrounding areas, worked efficiently and completed the work in a timely matter. I am completely satisfied.

Mr. Schleter was able to schedule us in within just a few days of my phone call. He was very prompt and phone in advance of arrival to confirm everything was still as originally scheduled. He was able to complete both repairs during an afternoon. He was careful to tape over the kitchen and other surfaces to minimize mess. The finished "products" are exactly what we needed. We really appreciated his efforts and skill at some rather tricky repairs.

Expert results, We were extremely pleased with the workmanship. The popcorn ceiling was done so well that no painting was required.

Mike came out and looked at what we wanted, he took notes and asked questions so he completely understood what we were looking for. He gave us an estimate on the spot, it was our first estimate for the job so at that point we didn't know if it was high, low, or in-line with what others would charge. After getting two other estimates Mike's price was clearly the best. Within a day of telling Mike we'd like to move forward he called and was able to get us in the next week due to a scheduling change. The following Monday his guy Chris was there right on time and got started. the job was completed when Mike said it would be even though we added some trim work. Overall a great experience with both Mike and Chris. we will use them again and I have already recommended them to a colleague.

Mike did a great job - very pleased! After quoting two other contractors both seemed way too high. After learning it woud only be about a two hour job I checked Angies List again and Mike came in at a great value. I saved over $200 compared to the other quotes - one contracter was top listed in Angies List. Mike took a day to respond, but I was in no hurry. This was about getting the best value -- price and quality workmanship. If that's what you're looking, you need to consider MIke for your next project. FYI I think part of the reason it took him longer to respond is HE actually does the work vs the others who were going to just sub the work out.

As usual, Mike did a fantastic job. There are just not enough words to describe the quality of work he does. We have already made plans for him to do some exterior work when weather permits. Mike is always on time, always neat and above all, a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him!

I can't tell you how happy I was with Mike's work and the outcome. It came out beautiful !!!. He was prompt, professional and neat. Since using his services I am never going to paint another wall again. Next is our bedroom and our bonus room. Thanks again Mike, it was the best Christmas present I have ever received ! Mike is a great guy. He went right to work, efficiently taking care of one particularly bad area on my ceiling due to a leak. He also took care of some cracks over my windows. He picked up after himself and left my kitchen the way that he found it. He was most concerned that I approve of his work. I believe he did an excellent job and would highly recommend him.

My need included some fairly complex drywall repairs. The work that was done was excellent. After the dywall repair I invited Mike back to paint the ceiling areas that were repaired. While painting I noticed another area in need of drywall repair. Mike gladly tackled that area as well. Very thorough work.

Michael was very prompt in returning my initial call. We set up a scheduled time and when he was running a bit late, he called in advance to let me know. He arrived ready to work. Worked consistently for 3 hours. Cleaned up afterwards with no mess. He was very professional, conscientous and courteous. I was very pleased with the results.

Excellent. Mr. Schleter got back to me right away, came when he said he would, did an excellent job, and was very pleasant. I definitely will call him if I need any further plastering, dry wall repair or related work.

He did a beautiful job and we are now extremely happy with the results. He was very easy to work with and we are definitely going to hire him to do some additional work around the house. I have nothing bad to say about him personally or the quality of his work. One of those rare times you stumble upon a wonderful resource for future needs too!

When I was ready to schedule my appointment Michael Schleter was quick to respond and scheduled the visit on the following week. Michael showed up at the promised time and upon inspection of the drywall could immediately see what needed to be done. Michael immediately got to the task with little interruption as I continued to work in my office. For the amount of sanding done there was very little dust left behind once the work was completed. It was a very professional and smooth visit by Michael Schleter. The wall looks completely new and we were most pleased with the finished product. We were so impressed that we inquired with Michael on other services offered. We then proceeded to ask for a quote on power washing and restaining our deck. Michael provided a full explanation of the quote and the amount of time anticipated to completed the work. We look forward to working with Michael Schleter again.

We purchased the Big Deal and I contacted Mike to see if he would be able to fix out drywall in the kitchen. We had tile removed that was previously there and in the removal process the drywall was ruined. He said he would be able to fix it and we scheduled the apt. He arrived prompt and started taping down plastic onto the granite counters. Once it was time for the drywall we found that the depth of drywall we purchased was wrong. He had to go out and buy the correct 1/2 inch thick drywall and install that. He ran overtime alittle and didnt charge us for that, only for the gas to the store and drywall. He did an excellent job and we just retiled the backsplash and everything is sticking to the drywall. We would definetly recommend him again for another job! :)

Given a great Angie's List deal with this company, I had him drywall a hole in my ceiling. The deal did not include drywall but since it was a small job, he threw in the drywall. I was concerned about the popcorn texturing that would need to be fixed as well, so I sent a picture. Since it would take more materials and work, we agreed to increase it by $40, which was still a great deal. He arrived on time and was very professional. He put up plastic to keep the mess contained and cleaned up afterward. The results were great, like new. I would recommend him anyone and I will use him again when I have drywalling or painting needs.

He was very reasonable. We just haven't followed through with it yet. It's probably been a couple of months ago that he gave us the estimate. The experience was very positive. The only reason we didn't hire him was probably our own finances. He gave us a good quote. It was reasonable but I don't think it was the cheapest around. We plan to contact him in the future.

Mike first arrived on the 9th of November to fix the kitchen ceiling before installation of granite counters. He then returned the day after installation of the granite (Nov. 23rd) to begin his part of beautifying my kitchen. He was an absolute delight to work with....changing our minds about techniques, colors etc....He had planned a rough plaster and then a smoother random plaster over that with parts of the rough showing through. However, we both loved the rough so much, that he just continued with that but with a thicker coating of plaster. He then lightly sanded the sharp points that protruded from the plaster. Then came the paint choice....which would make or break the beauty of the walls and very unusual granite. Mike has a wonderful eye for color, as do I, and together we finally came up with the perfect one! It is absolutely gorgeous, thanks to his fine work, input and enthusiasm. (I think he was excited as I about this project!) Incidently, he did a perfect job on the wall as well. You would never know it had been cut into at all! He finished yesterday, Dec. 2nd, and I must admit I will miss having his pleasant personality around! He was always prompt, neat, professional.....I really can't say enough good things about his work or his person. His pricing is fair and his work is excellent. I highly recomment him with absolutely no hesitation.

MIKE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND EASY TO WORK WITH. HE RETURNED CALLS PROMPTLY AND LET US KNOW IF THERE WERE SCHEDULE CHANGES. HE WAS ALSO FLEXIBLE IN WORKING AROUND OUR SCHEDULES. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO OTHER HOMEOWNERS.

MOST OF THE COMPANIES REFERENCES WERE FOR INTERIOR WORK. PLUS HE WAS GOING TO PAINT THE HOUSE BY HIMSELF. THE HOUSE IF LARGE, AND FELT THERE COULD BE LONG RAIN DELAYS, SO I OPTED FOR ANOTHER PAINTER. QUALITY WAS IMPORTANT TO OWNER. THE REASON HE WAS PAINTING ALONE WAS TO ENSURE QUALITY. SAID HE HAD TROUBLE FINDING GOOD, RELIABLE WORKERS.

BE VERY SPECIFIC REGARDING YOUR EXPECTATIONS DURING THE BID PROCESS. FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU EXPECT THE PAINTER TO FURNISH THEIR PAINT, USE TWO COATS, LEAVE NO BUBBLES, SAND ROUGH SURFACES AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES YOU MUST SAY SO.

I CONTACTED MIKE SCHLETER ON 4/2/03 TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR HIM TO BID ON AN INTERIOR JOB FOR MY BUSINESS. WE MET 2 DAYS LATER AND I ASKED IF I COULD GET THE BID BY THE MIDDLE OF THE FOLLOWING WEEK, WHICH MIKE RESPONDED HE COULD. 2 WEEKS WENT BY (4/15) AND I HADN''T HEARD FROM MIKE, SO I LEFT A MESSAGE WITH HIM TO CHECK ON THE BID, & TO SEE IF HE WAS EVEN ABLE TO DO THE JOB. I DIDN''T RECEIVE A RETURN CALL UNTIL 4/29 WHERE HE STATED HE WOULDN''T BE ABLE TO DO THE JOB.
