RTP Easy Fix

These technician is assigned to diagnose refrigerator ice maker issue. He came in other day to diagnose the issue. He hardly stayed 5 mins and said we need to switch off the refrigerator for 24 hours before he can diagnose the issue. He said he will come back on wednesday morning hours to diagnose the issue. But he updated the warranty company saying it product issue and should be covered under product warranty. Why these technicians are so dishonest on this, and i have seen technicians doing these for last couple of claim request.

RTP Easy Fix was hired by my home warranty company to repair my clothes dryer. The repairman came out the same day I called and quickly diagnosed my problem. He quoted a 5 - 10 day lead time for the part to arrive to fix my dryer. He ordered the part and the part arrived in 5 days. He called me when the part arrived and scheduled a return visit the following day. I was pleased with the service provided by RTP Easy Fix and would use them again in the future.

Home warranty (Cinch) referred to this provider. Technician arrived and after looking at why my dishwasher was leaking (didn't even take the base plate off to look underneath), he shrugged his shoulders and said he needed to replace the pump and gasket. He took my $100, left, and was never heard from again -- no response to calls, emails, or even an inquiry by the warranty company. This is a similar story to others that post. He's a fraud. And fuel on the fire is that he's a very abrupt individual -- common expectations for good customer service were not part of the package he offers.

My home warranty company hired RTP Easy Fix to do the work. I paid the deductible and was told it would be 3-5 days to get the parts. Mustapha was going to call me to schedule the appointment once the parts came in. That's when the communication stopped. He never returned my calls and I had to get the home warranty company involved again. We finally did get an appointment scheduled, but I had to cancel at the last minute since I had to cover for a sick employee at work. He has not returned my calls since, and again I have had to get the warranty company involved. It's been over 8 weeks since the first call! Totally unreliable!

He came out Tuesday diagnosed the problem ordered the parts. Returned on Friday with the parts and installed. When he showed me the dryer was now fixed, I noticed the buttons were now pressed in too far. It was very hard to push the start button as well as the stop button. When I said the buttons were not like this when he started, he said to me "ARE YOU SAYING I DID THIS?" I said, it wasn't like this in the morning. I have never had to press the buttons this hard. I got my husband to check it as well, and the service man became confrontive with him as well. After he calmed down, I asked it he could fix the buttons, to which he replied the board was not covered. He left, and I looked at the dryer, the reason the buttons were broken is because he did not reassemble the dryer properly. One side of the dryer face where the buttons are located is approximately 1 inch away from the base of the machine.

Mustafa is a very rude and foul mouth individual. I wasn't happy with his diagnosis and I wanted to discuss it further with him. Upon trying to have a discussion with him I thought I was making a point. He went on a defensive and said, "I don't care a ****", and hung up my call. As a professional who would care of building a business, that certainly didn't help. Never call/hire.
