I contacted Blake Seck through Angie's List e-mail regarding sodding the back yard of my home. A couple days later Blake called. We discussed the project, and he said he would need to come by and take a quick look and we set a date. It rained on that date and Blake called and asked if he could reset. We agreed on a second date the following week, but the day of the appointment he called to cancel the appointment again, saying he was behind in his work due to the rain the prior week. We reset the date again for the following week. This time Blake didin't call to cancel, he just didn't show up. An hour later he called, reaching my answering service, saying that he was just going ot come, look at the job, and call me later with the estimated cost to sod the back yard. To my knowledge Blake never came by, and I know he didn't call or leave an estimate for the work. What really was upsetting, however, was the fact that I had specifically asked Blake that IF he was not going to make his appointment to please call so I didn't sit around waiting, and Blake acknowledged my request. If his actualy work is no better than his word, I'm sure I would not have been happy using his service.

It went really well--great service and the patio/retaining wall looks great. We are getting great use out of it. Blake was a pleasure to work with and would not hesitate to work with him again. He even came out personally when I found some touch up that needed to be done as far as sand in between the pavers.

I am very pleased with the results of the work, the investment in our property, and the work done by Blake and his team. Everything was done to a high degree of finish and with a great amount of care (with only a few, minor exceptions - like taking out one of my existing driveway lights) -- given what was done around the property that is a major miracle. The work took longer than expected or planned, most of that was weather related and some based on scope creep (on my end, not Blake's). As an example, every night (and I mean every night) his team cleaned up, swept debris, put all of their materials on one area in the yard (their staging area). Perhaps a little thing, but for a homeowner, an important one. I would certainly hire Blake again, and would recommend him highly.

I was initially rather dissatisfied, and posted a review reflecting that opinion. More specifically the work was delayed and delivered incomplete. Blake contacted me promptly, promised to right the shortcomings, and provided several substantial explanations for the problems up to that point. I wish that I had been made privy to the circumstances surrounding his delays earlier in our relationship. The final drawing was delivered more quickly than promised and is complete. He provided information and insight specific to our property. I hope that we can proceed with the work.

It was good overall. We had some scheduling issues and probably would have liked a little more detail, but they were very courteous and responsive.

This was some of the best money we spent on our home. Blake Seck prepared a visually attractive landscaping plan and followed up with excellent services to install the masonry wall, plantings and walkway he drew up. He also left us some additional mulch for beds in our backyard. And most surprisingly, he invoiced us only for his actual costs - which were a couple hundred dollars less than he originally proposed. Blake is a very honest and professional landscaper and I plan to contact him again when we come up with the funds to redo our backyard.

Seemed like a decent guy but also seemed like he had more business than he could handle. We agreed that we would not proceed to final design and execution.

The work was done to our complete satisfaction and the experience was excellent. The crew left our backyard with only minimal damage from the equipment. Blake was very easy to work with and he was on top of all issues. We would highly recommend Panoramic Landscapes.

It turned out wonderful for us. The owner and contractor are really easy to work with. They communicate well and I would recommend them to other people.

They did an excellent job. They put down soja sod. They were very detailed oriented and they communicated well throughout the entire process.

The guy who came out did a good job on the design and I was happy with the work they did. I used an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and their price was reasonable.

Blake did give us an estimate to do some rescaping of the back yard and to put in a patio, but he said he could not quote us an irrigation system since he was no longer licensed for irrigation installations. Based on his advertising for irrigation installations, that is why we had bought the Angie's list deal in the first place. So needless to say we were highly disappointed at the thought of wasting our $100.

They planted voysia sode. Called them out for the estimate and talked about design issues. They came back on time and did the work. I was pleased with it.

Blake was very responsive. On his first visit we talked about what we desired. He then provided some approximate costs. He provided the plan after we decided to use him. He arrived to do the work as scheduled. His crew worked diligently.

There were no don'ts. Everything went like clockwork from start to finish. Workers laid out beds and plowed and put in underground irrigation, then planted beautiful, healthy plants, mulched them and same with the natural area, only used pine straw on that. It looked really pretty when they had finished. What a change. I wonder why I waited to long to have it done. Blake was professional but friendly and I will use him again. He does beautiful work.

I really don't know what happened. The guy showed up, took a look at the backyard for 5 mins, said he was going to his truck, and simply left, never to return. Not sure what happened, so I got a refund.

I could not be happier with the service. The owner and I discussed design options and created a layout that worked best for the yard. The crew was hard working, fast and detail oriented. I would highly recommend using Panoramic Landscapes for your yard, patio features and stone work. These guys were great ? well worth the money.

I initaited contact with this provider through e-mail to arrange a time for him to come to our house and come up with a design for our yard. It took several e-mails to get a response, but we did finally set a date. When he came to our house, he was late and he did not seem to know that he was there to do a design. We walked around our yard and and he basically gave us a "consultation" on what we should do. He told us we could buy a full design if we wanted to. We asked him to quote us on Berumda sod, and while he was measuring our yard my wife asked about the $99 design we had already purchased. At that point he said, he had completely forgotten that we had purchased that, and was very apolegetic. So he continued to measure and took notes about what we were looking for and left with a promise of a desing within a week. At least 2 weeks later we received an e-mail with a 1 page pdf file that was our "design". It was clear that he had not taken any pictures of our yard as exsiting trees in the backyard were not accounted for in the design, and there were other plants or hardscaping in the area where those trees grew. And we expressly told him that taking those trees down was not an option. And one whole side of our yard, which was one of our main concerns, was completely ignored in the design. And we never received a quote for the Bermuda sod. Needless to say, he was not hired.

We could not be happier with our new backyard. We've had plenty of rain since the patio was finished and see that it is perfectly sloped away from the house. Everything was done above and beyond what we expected.

An initial meeting, proposal, and estimate was provided by Blake. The estimate was fair and in the range I expected. Blake is courteous and pretty easy to work with. That said, the proposal, made in writing, was vague and difficult to comprehend since I'm unfamiliar with different ways a patio can be constructed and the various terminology related to the process. It took a couple of follow up calls with Blake to understand and make a decision on the route to take. The patio work was scheduled to be performed when I was out of town. The work began on time and progressed satisfactorily (no job switching) in accordance with weather delays. Upon returning home, my main disappointment was that there was no step on the side of the patio that clearly needed one. We had discussed where to put the step in a meeting but apparently it was forgotten during installation. The work could not be undone to include the step so it had to be added. It looks like a last minute addition rather than being built in like it was supposed to. There was also a mix up in what sand I thought was going to be used but that may be a result of my lack of knowledge and understanding. We decided to add a particular and on top and the follow ups that occurred after were spotty (additional contacts had to be made for both notifications of loose/sinking stones and/or sand settlement/disappearing). There were too many delays and I started to become uncomfortable with whether anyone would come back. My last notification to Blake was acknowledged with a response that he would be back but that was about a month ago. I've since had another company come and finish filling in the sand where it was needed. Overall, not having any idea of the size, process, etc. it was hard to know what questions to even ask and overall it seemed very difficult to get ideas and information during meetings and follow ups. If you know exactly what you want and have some knowledge of various ways the work can be performed, Panoramic would be a good fit for you. For me, although I'm too busy to pay attention to every detail as work is performed, I think there were a couple too many snags that could have been avoided. I rated the quality as good because, with the exception of the step, the patio looks great.

This is a well meaning person who did not execute well. I am not the worlds most demanding customer, however this was a waste of money.

Blake and his team did a great job. The project started just a day later than expected due to weather, but Blake's team worked hard and efficiently.

Blake is the owner of Panoramic Landscapes and I e-mailed him. He responded that day, and we met the next day and walked around the yard. I told him what I wanted and he gave me suggestions, and the estimate arrived within a day or two. Blake is very laid back, and his estimate was very reasonable (I used Angie's List for 3 others as well). One of the other landscapers came out and they gave me an estimate 3x more than Blake's, which included stuff I did not want like stone gardens with boulders. I decided to go with Blake because the price was fair, he sounded like he knew what he was doing, and basically because the Angieslist reviews were good. His crew had a job or 2 in front of mine, but I decided to use Panoramic and wait a few weeks. My job was fairly simple: I wanted my drainage pipes fixed, and some regrading done in the back with new turf installed, playground chips, and some mulching and plants (low maintenance, nice looking flowering plants) . The job was initially around $3600, but I was impressed with the work being done, so I thought I should use Blake to get some additional work completed while his crew was here. I called, e-mailed, or texted Blake on a daily basis and every time, he responded. I basically asked him to beautify my entire yard, and his crew did a great job, so I kept adding more. I added the paver walkway, which turned out very well, and decided to add some more plants since everything else was turning out so beautifully. Blake e-mailed me with plants that he suggested, and then I would e-mail him back with some questions about other plants that my wife wanted. When I wanted some of the new plants moved to a different location, I just e-mailed him, and it was done. I actually plan on using Blake in the very near future for installing a new mailbox since that area was beautified and the old mailbox is worn down. I'll do some more plants around the new walkway, and some more turf to replace some other ragged areas, and maybe some bulb planting in the fall. I wholeheartedly recommend him; I am extremely pleased.

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Panoramic! Blake was very informative during the estimate, and he was able to go over the different options and costs with me to make sure I knew what to pick for the new wall. He was also very helpful and responsive when I emailed with a questions and patient with me when I had trouble navigating the stone vendor's website to pick the color of the product to use. He even brought me some samples to make sure I was happy with the choice I made. He was more than a $1,000 cheaper than the next closest estimate, but I picked Panoramic because I was most impressed with his clear knowledge and expertise. His estimate for when they would be able to start was dead on - which I know is difficult considering the vagaries of the weather on outside work, and the crew showed up every day before I went to work and were still at it when I came home. They managed to rip out the old wall and the multiple layers of vines and vegetation and put in a beautiful new stone wall that holds up the majority of my side yard and deck all within 3 days. I still can't believe how quick they were with such a big project. They made sure everything was cleaned up, the dirt I asked to be removed from behind the first wall was graded professionally down the slope just as I wanted, and they somehow magically mangaged to do all of it without damaging the plants in the beds surrounding the workspace, even with all the heavy equipment. The crew were all so professional and nice, and they didn't mind that I was curious and wanted to see how all of it went together. My neighbors are impressed with how beautifully it turned out, and I have to say that I never expected it would look as fantastic as it does. I will certainly call Panoramic first for any future projects, and I would highly recommend them to anyone else.
