Grass Pro Lawn Care LLC

My mother (an elderly person) and her neighbor TOGETHER contracted with this company, Grass Pro out of Holly springs, a number of years ago to cut both lawns as it really made that corner look nice with uniform care; and the yards did look nice. The end of last summer (2016) we requested they cut my yard (across the street) as well until we could get it on the market to sell. At the end of March (2017) this company gave notice they would not be able to cut our yards any longer starting May 1st but would provide service till then. The neighbor again arranged for a lawn service for both yards starting in May. With the rains last week this company did not cut the yards. The neighbor contacted this company over the weekend requesting one last mow. Well today they drove all the way to Apex to cut the neighbor's yards not even touching the other 2 yards. the neighbor was told her yard was cut as a "courtesy" for being a long time customer. Well what about my mom's yard?? what abut the long term relationship they had with her??? Isn't that worth something?? Mom was a long time customer too. My mother passed away last year and I do not live in that neighborhood so have appreciated the help of the neighbors. This company is well aware of my mother's passing and that we are not residents of this neighborhood. Even though the neighbor brokered the agreement, this company billed differently the households differently for services and that is their excuse for not cutting our yards. Now I have pictures scheduled to put my house on the market and a jungle for a yard. The new company is not scheduled to start till next week. I feel this company, though had done a good job prior, has been very unprofessional at the end and clearly did not care about the long term arrangements they had with my mother. I am sure they will respond with their excuses for not cutting the grass on May 1st even though they cut the neighbors yard - the neighbor who made the initial agreement with them for both yards, and were right there. The reality is with their equipment it does not take long to cut 2 more yards and there was someone at our house they could have easily walked over "as a courtesy" to make sure we were taken care of. they are obviously too busy to give professional and courtesy service to all their customers. Glad we have moved on if this is how they are now conducting business.

We've been using Donnie's services for about five years, and we're very happy with him. He's reasonably priced, he does a superb job, and he's very reliable. In fact, we know that we can trust him to care for our lawn as requested whenever we are away for a while.
