It took a year. It was the most horrific experience of all time. The siding and trim work was moderately okay. I had to kick one of their sub-contractors off. I knew him. I had him quote the job previously, but I didn't like his quality of work. When he was doing the job wrong here, I had to tell him to go leave. Then, they sent somebody else. My wife wanted a skylight. They said, "Yeah. We can do that." They ordered the wrong skylight and installed it incorrectly. Another expert had to come out. They took it out. Actually, I had to take that one and throw it away because they never picked it up. Then, I had to go and get a new skylight. I insisted this other expert put it in because they, obviously, did not know what they were doing. It leaked for two months. Then, it took six months for them to come back and fix the leak damage and repaint everything. The whole time, the attitude was awful. I cannot say enough horrible things about the experience. Then, I had them paint the house because it did need painting. Half way through the job, he hit me up for more money because he said he didn't realize how much work it was. At that point, the house was half painted. They were really bad. There was yelling and swearing and screaming, mainly from me, at them and then, James, basically acting as if they had done nothing wrong. It just took forever. It was ridiculous. They weren't the cheapest. Obviously, we weren't the most important job to them because they would show up for a couple of days and then they would be gone for a week and then come back. The exterior painting, which was supposed to have been started a while back, they didn't start until we started having freezing temperatures outside. I thought, "It was probably not good to be painting when it's freezing." But he assured me that the paint was good down to a certain temperature, which may be correct. The optimal would not be freezing temperatures. It probably would be reasonably warm temperatures.
Description of Work: They did siding replacement and some exterior trim work. Then, they installed a skylight and repainted the whole house.
