Description of Work: Steve has been servicing our A/C unit for the 10+ years that we've owned this home. He's done a number of things for us but the biggest example was recently our A\C unit went out the day before we went on vacation. Our unit was old and it was Friday evening so he could not source the part before we left town. On Saturday he tracked down a used part and replaced it for us while we were out of town so we could come home to a comfortable home. On numerous other occasions he has come over in the evenings to make sure we were comfortable and the unit properly working. He's top notch, professional & courteous, honest and does what is in our best interest, even if that means more work and/or less revenue for him. I highly recommend!

Description of Work: This was the second time I have used Austin Heating and Air and both have been outstanding. He typically comes the same day or the following day and both have been relatively easy fixes at a flat $75 fee. The first time water was backing up from the a/c pipe inside and it happened to be above my hot water heater in a very small closet that we just couldn't get to. I called a plumber first who then recommended Stephen Austin since it was not the water heater leaking it was in fact this pipe connected to the HVAC unit that needed to be cleared. Mr. Austin first attempted to help me over the phone to avoid any cost which I felt was very helpful and I like to do things myself. I was unsuccessful so he came out that same day and the work was completed in about 2 hours. I felt $75 was very reasonable. The following time my heat would not stop running. He installed the new thermostat I purchased at Lowes for me and fixed a wire that had a short causing the heat to run constantly. Again coming the same day I called and was very quick and efficient. He will continue to be my go to!
