House Cleaning
The crew from April's showed up 20-30 minutes after their scheduled 2 hour window. They immediately went to work cleaning the house as expected. We were surprised at the amount of time it took for the crew to complete our house (usually 2-3 hours, but this time only 1). At first the house appeared clean, but we started to notice items that were missed or done poorly. The crew did not empty trash cans as they normally would. Furniture was dusted, but not polished as requested even though we provided the product to use for the polishing. We noticed a film in the shower on our tiles and found out that there was a significant amount of residue all over the shower tiles from SoftScrub (fingers were white when you ran them across the "newly cleaned" tile).
We contacted April's and requested a discount on the next service and they would not accommodate, but only send a crew to correct the problems. It is very inconvenient to setup a time to be home with the crew and while we were not fond of the compromise, we agreed and allowed them to come back. The new crew came in and appeared to work, but many of the items that we specifically noted were missed again. The bathroom tile still had film, trash cans that were missed still had the same garbage bags in them. We contacted April's again to let them know and they said that "Sometimes they cannot make all customers happy." We understood this to mean that we need to look for another service.
I am still a bit shocked that they could not correct issues that we specifically discussed with them. We have cancelled future services and will not use them again. I just joined Angie's List and noticed their "C" rating and fully understand why it is that way!

House Cleaning
That is quite an increase ..they did a relatively good job but the price increase was over the top..they did accommodate my schedule..just couldn't get over the increase..
