Barry Williams Plumbing came through for us again dealing with a difficult situation involving other contractors and county permit issues. We live out of town so all this had to be handled remotely. He quickly assessed the situation and recommended a solution. Once I gave him the OK, he worked with the county, the other contractor, and got everything resolved to our satisfaction. What is particularly noteworthy is how often he communicated with us to keep us updated on where things stood and his next steps. I have never had a contractor be so proactive about getting the job done or about communicating with me. He even went directly to the County Permit Office to ensure everything was good on their end. His technical knowledge, overall professionalism, and customer focus are clearly exceptional. Barry Williams is OUR plumber!

Charged $495 for a $100 faucet and 45 minutes of work.

Called for appointment and was scheduled for April 10th. When plumber was late, called only to find out he wasn't coming. One worker left for family emergency, and I'd been bumped for another job. Rescheduled for 14th 1-3pm. Plumber arrived 4pm. Very nice young man. Fixed our main issue, the hot water heater. He was to check the toilets and suggested to update the inside due to age. I agreed and had paid $140 previously in Raleigh for this service. Plumber didn't provide pricing at that time as I understood he would but come bill time, two toilets were fixed at $248 each and I learned he'd cut me a break on the pricing and I did get $25 coupon for original missed appointment. Ouch!

Barry, the owner and his assistant explained exactly what our priblem was, gave us the number of the parts manufacture since it was under warranty, returned promptly when the parts arrived and fixed the problem. They are knowledgeable, courteous, and honest. Everything you want in a contractor.

Drains in house were stopped up. All toilets in our house were not flushing and water was coming up in our shower. I was not sure if I needed my septic pumped or I needed a plumber. I flipped a coin and called the plumber first. Barry Williams Plumbing came out and cleaned the roots from our sewer pipe going to the septic tank. They had all the equipment needed to complete the job with them. They also inspected all the drains in our house after they solved the problem to make sure there was no other problems. From the awesome office staff that answered the phone, to the truly professional plumber that came to our house, this was a great contractor experience. I will use their drain cleaning service again and will recommend to all my friends and neighbors. When you have sewer in your shower they can just about charge what they want, but this company told me what it would cost and stuck to it. Not only great service but honest as well.

Barry Williams Plumbing provided prompt service. I received an immediate return phone call. The work crew was dispatched almost immediately. I was given their estimated arrival time after the crew received the call. The technicians Luke and Scott introduced themselves on arrival. Both were courteous, friendly, efficient and professional. They dug and identified the problem and then explained it o me. The circuit breaker controlling the water was turned off, so it would not over heat during the repair. The technicians replaced the broken section. They also fixed a leaky faucet in the laundry room which was not included in the initial distress call. I have the company business cards and will give them to my caring neighbors. I called my helpful neighbors to express my satisfaction. Barry Williams and his employees are prompt, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and reasonable. They quickly assess the promblem and waste no time in solving the issue. The tankless water heater was particularly difficult and the problem turned out to be a venting issue that Barry discovered. I would (and have) recommend this company without reservation.

They were able to come into a household and do everything at our convenience. They sent enough people to do the work in a timely fashion. We ran into a couple questionable areas. They took the time to consult and ask our preferences and did the work all at one time. They didn't spread it out over multiple days and it was all done correctly. I do alot of home work myself and this was larger than I wanted to take on. Everything was cleaned up correctly.
