They did an excellent job, were very responsive, and could not have been more helpful or nicer. A great company to work with and they came out and did what was needed fairly quickly despite already having a full schedule and having some equipment truck problems. VERY RELIABLE, did excellent work, and they were extremely pleasant to work with.

The work went very well. The crew arrived on time, took notable care to work around landscaped areas, did the work carefully and thoroughly, and although there was a good bit of digging to remove the top layer of soil to install the risers they left the area in good shape. Particular thanks to the guy with the baseball cap who took extra care with his rake to make the installation look good. Price competitive (the middle of three close proposals) and the bill was right on the money. All round professional service provider. Definitely would be the first call for service in the future.

I have used this company for several years, and each time, the service got worse. First, a young man with professional manner did the exact work asked of him, for a fair price. The next time a different man came, proceeded to clean the filter,and recommended that the tanks be pumped. I agreed. the third and last time, a new man came out, cleaned the filter and without asking, pumped the tanks. Septic tanks do not need annual pumping, and I was quite surprised when he presented the bill. I paid the bill, but checked the price against several other companies, an found it to be considerably higher, as well as unnecessary. During this last weekend, the filter plugged again, and just needing a cleaning, I stayed with the company with the intent of overseeing the work, to ensure getting only what I asked for. When I made the phone call, an answering service replied, stating that they would advise the "on-call" guy, who would contact me shortly. After a lengthy wait, I gave up on the guy and on the company, and searched Angie's List for a replacement, which I contacted and used for the service. Had I checked Angie's List earlier, I never would have used J.C. Johnson again, as their behavior is well-documented in the reviews.

Everything went well. No problelms

I came home after the work was done, found a huge hole in my front lawn, and a bill for $425.00. When I called the owner, he stated he needed to dig the hole, and pump another tank to complete the work. I asked if he did not feel it was appropriate to call the owner of the home first, explain what needed to be done before doubling the quote and digging a large hole that was to be left in the front lawn. He does not feel he needs to communicate with his customers since the county requires the work. I tried to explain the county may require the work, but the county does not own the property, and does not pay him, and he needs to communicate prior to doubling the quoted price, and digging up lawns without permission. I did misplace his bill, and did not recall his name since I did not call him initially, another company called him as part of the septic system repairs. I did not hear from him until I received a threatening letter that I was being taken to court. This owner is arrogant, feels that they can do whatever they want without asking permission because the county may want repairs done, so they can double estimates, not check with property owners, and then not communicate again until threatening to take someone to court. Mr. Riley knew my name and phone number, it was on the paperwork he brought to my home in order to take me to court, but he never made any attempt to communicate with me at any time. He stated this was the reason he did not call, but when I pointed this fact out, he had no excuse - he feels he can do whatever he wants without the homeowner's permission, including doubling the estimate, digging up the yard, and then taking them to court when he feels like it without ever making any attempt to contact the owner. I find him very arrogant thinking that it is okay to treat any property owner this way - digging up the yard without asking, doubling estimates without calling first, and then never attempting to contact the owner again about a bill until you are threatening to take them to court.

They did a really good job with the service and I was pleased. They were able to schedule me the next day that I called and also did the service at a reasonable price.

Rusty has a great work ethic. It can be a little hard to get in touch, because he is quite busy. We highly recommend them.

Excellent service. Called the company on one day and they were there the next day to do the work. Very prompt and courteous.
