They usually send out two people, an electrician and a helper. The electrician who worked with us, his name Randy. He's just a very calm, steady kind of a person. You feel like okay this guy is easy to communicate with. He's careful, calm, collected. He's going to get the job done.

We got really great service from them. They did some extending some wore so we got better wifi service all over our house. We had some other done by them a few months back which involved rewiring an inaccessible light fixture and doing a few other miscellaneous electrical things. What we like about them, they were very capable, very easy going, easy to work with. They are a bit of a smaller firm. Some of the bigger firms are kind of hard to schedule. Sometimes its hard to get their attention but these folks were good. They have a secretary who's there at the office. She's always there. She always answers the phone and keeps thing coordinated. It just an easy group of people to deal with. We've used them twice. They've been real good.

I would tell family and friends is good quality, the price, I thought it was expensive, but I don't know if maybe all electricians are expensive, but I don't know I couldn't really compare.

Everything was good about it, my husband was there, so I really don't know. We had to had to have them come back because the doorbell broke again. My husband thought it might be the transformer and we changed the transformer and that didn't work, so we had to have them come out again. I can't remember what they did, but it was a charge slated on top of that, but it's just getting kind of expensive to get a doorbell fixed. This is why they were good, they figured out that a nail had hit one of the wires that went inside the fuse box and that's why it had stopped working. Again, it was good service, but it just ended up costing a lot.

The owner - Scott - showed up on time for the estimate and got back to me quickly with a bid. The original installation cost just over $1000. Scott asked that I provide the equipment, which I was happy to do given good prices on Amazon. The crew did great work and got the system running in a day. If the project stopped here, I would have given a B, maybe an A. However, one of the motion sensing lights never worked. Naturally, I called Scott back to fix the issue. His quote? $500, half the cost of the original install. Now, I'm not sure if the one light didn't work because the unit was bad or because of the wiring - but either way, Scott recommended that I purchase the equipment. And to be fair, I also asked him to make a configuration change in the wiring (turn the light on when the one next to it picked up motion). When pressed, he said we could do time and materials, but still felt that it would take half a day, which would total just under $500. That just seemed high given that original project cost -- $500 for 1 versus $1000 for 6. Here's where things get ugly. As we were talking through the issue and as I was trying to understand what was driving the cost up, Scott got frustrated. He abruptly said -- you pick what you want to do and let me know. "Goodbye." He hung up. On a customer. The owner of the company hung up on a customer who had just paid him over $1000. I was astounded. Shocked. After figuring out what just happened, I canceled my appointment for the fix (we were already on the calendar) and wrote this review. Needless to say, I will not use Dynamic Electric for this fix or any work in the future.

We often advise customers before the start of a project that they may provide their own fixtures as a way to save money, but unfortunately, we cannot warranty fixtures we have not provided. When something we have worked on isn't functioning properly, we promptly schedule a follow up appointment. If the malfunction is due to our work, this visit is free of charge, otherwise we charge a nominal service fee. We do our best to give an upfront price for the benefit of the customer, but often offer hourly billing, if that's their preference, or there are too many unknowns to offer an upfront price. These prices are based on market value, and our overhead. It's important to Dynamic Electric that we provide an affordable service to our community, based on ethical business practices. We are a licensed, insured, bonded and Living Wage certified employer.

Scott and his crew were really great. First, he was very responsive--a rarity it seems given the high demand for qualified service people in the area. He also had a fair price, and was willing to consider taking on hooking up our generator when others were hesitant. I think the job is a bit trickier than the usual running wire, etc., but he was game. And they came through with all the requisite criteria you want: showed up on time, completed the work, stayed in contact, and left everything clean and ship shape. What I liked the most about them, however, was the way Scott paid personal attention to the job. He didn't just show up and clock in his apprentice; instead, he stayed for long durations, returned, checked, in etc. And I could tell he was putting a lot or energy into teaching his crew about the concepts and skills related to the job. It was refreshing to witness and gave me a good feeling that extended beyond the satisfaction with the job that was done. High marks all around for the job, and extra credit for carrying forward the traditions of workmanship, training, and providing leadership for a profession.

We were incredibly lucky to find Scott at Dynamic Electrical Solutions. From day 1, we were impressed by his professionalism, work ethic, and honesty. He put together our bid quickly (within a day or two) and he worked closely with us to meet our budget. From the get go, he was very transparent and there were no hidden or surprise costs when we received his invoice. Scott and his team worked quickly and efficiently to help us meet our move-in deadline. He communicated with us frequently, kept us updated, and was extremely accommodating and flexible. We were consistently impressed by his strong work ethic and skill--removing knob and tube over the hot summer months, installing lighting in 100-year-old beadboard ceilings, and working with old plaster walls was no easy task! We are so pleased with Scott's work (the house looks & functions beautifully) and would hire his company again in a heartbeat! You will not regret choosing Dynamic Electrical Solutions for your electrical needs.

Scott Cummings, owner of Dynamic Electrical Solutions, was referred to us by an electrician friend of ours after the installer of the gate operators finished his install, to get the power outlets on the light columns and the line to the landscape lighting that was lost during the gate operator's install, reconnected and operational. This trip was focused on the lights on the gate columns not working properly. This trip was his second for this particular problem, he was very patient and methodical, and did not bill us until he identified and resolved the problem. After eliminating and correcting potential problems in wiring and junction box, we opened the gate operator control box for Scott to trace wiring, and Scott immediately spotted a set of wires in box that were uncapped, slightly apart, and the located the loose cap on the bottom of the box, behind the mass of wiring. He capped them and the lights came on. At the same time that he re-capped the light lines, a line fell out of a block in the control board, and he discovered a disconnected ground line sitting in there, not long enough to connect to where it was supposed to go - not connected. He reconnected the line to the open position in the gate operator block, ensured all others were tight and secure, and put a new ground wire in, long enough to reach both ends. So, he corrected the light problem, and corrected gate operator installer's work. You may have guessed that Scott is pretty bright as he no trouble simply looking at the board to determine how it works, and corrected the gate operator installer's work. Scott and his helper also cut away brick and cement base from both light pillars, and rock from the garden wall on the right, to widen the openings at the ends of the trough beneath the gates, that holds the line conduits. Scott could have easily removed the brick over the conduit trough for the gate operator installer to run his wiring, had we known Scott at that first visit from the gate installer. We discussed with Scott having Scott return some time in the future with his power line tracer to help us map the power and landscape lighting lines that crisscross this property. Scott and helper also moved interior fixture Romex, and installed new lines, boxes and a switch, in the master bedroom as stage one of our project for replacement of fixtures permanently installed during construction of that portion of the house, with new light fixtures. They did a great job! So, Scott and his helper are versatile in what they can accomplish. In addition, he has a great personality and a very positive attitude and military work ethic (he's been here twice at 7am sharp), and is very fair with accounting for his time and billing. Scott has our endorsement. We suggest you consider Scott for support of your electrical projects, and perhaps for installation of gate operators.

Excellent service was provided by Scott, who is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. My home had very heavy outdoor fixtures which had pulled out from the walls. Scott replaced them with much lighter (and more modern) outdoor lamps that I purchased myself at Costco. He was able to switch them out, and they look fine, without any additional work on the receptacles. I'm very happy with the work and with the service. Scott came from another job, at the end of an incredibly hot day, yet he worked methodically in the heat without any complaint. In our first phone call, Scott explained his company's billing practices after I described the job to him. There is another electrician and helpers, however Scott did come solo because we agreed that a helper would not be needed, and that saved me from paying for a helper's time. I appreciate that he explained that. Scott also gave me some advice about what needed to be plugged into a new battery back up I had set up. The price was very reasonable for the time/work involved. I will definitely call this company again for any electrical needs. Just exactly the kind of person we feel comfortable with working on our home. Highly recommended.
