Dr Drain Plumbing

Ryan came on time and took care of our issues throughly with detailed explanation. Now we know who to call when we have plumbing issues. I strongly recommend Dr. Drain based on my past experience with other plumbing companies.

Plumber came out, later than scheduled, but things happen so that was not a problem. I asked for an estimate to install a whole house filter that we are planning to purchase. Ryan went under out house to look at our inflow pipes and then checked the water pressure in our house to make sure it wasn't too high for a whole house filter. He noted that it would void any warranty. He found that our pressure was high and left with plans to return the next day and replace the pressure valve, which he did. He did not supply the water filter estimate at that time, but took the paperwork regarding the filter and said he would get back to me with an estimate when he replaced the valve. The next day, after he replaced the valve, I again asked him for an estimate for installing the filter. He said he wasn't sure but he would research it. Two days later, when I did not hear from him, I called the office, again stating that I needed a work estimate for filter installation. That was four days ago. Still no response. As far as I can tell, we got a valve which we may or may not have needed to the tune of over $500, and NO estimate.

Dr. Drain was excellent to work with-first of all, my countertop install people communicated poorly-they put in countertops Friday am and told me I should get plumber to install new faucets,3in1 drain for Blanco sink etc.-Friday afternoon.So, I set up Dr.Drain for 1pm-when Countertop people finished they told me to give my new filgranite sink plenty of time to "seed"-they expressed concern about 1pm Dr. Drain appt.so I called office and they were wonderful-they called their 3pm appt.to see if they could do them at 1pm and then do me at 3pm-everything worked out and it was much appreciated as I had been without kitchen water etc. for several days.Ryan was really excellent-he explained everything thoroughly and took his time answering all my questions -his work was impeccable -he was dealing with very old pipes with the potential for "issues."I also had him look at my upstairs bathroom that has polished brass in shower, sink etc.-he explained what it would take to change out all of that.If and when I decide to tackle that I will definitely use Ryan and Dr. Drain-in fact, I will be using them for any and all plumbing issues.Thank You Ryan for all your hard work!

Ryan came to our home today to check our leaking problem from shower. He was very professional, polite and did thorough checking. I really appreciate his honesty and professionalism. I will definitely hire them again

Not quite what I've come to expect from an A rated Angies List service provider. Technician was professional and the work was done well. However, when I woke up this morning, there was no hot water. So I'm outside at 5:30 am trying to get showers running for my family. Fortunately, he had simply forgotten to turn it back on. Problem solved, but not the best way to start the day. More troubling though was their punctuality and price. Had an appointment for 11am. Got a call shortly before saying they were running a bit late. No problem. Plumbing repair is not an exact science. They called back at about 11:40 saying my technician would arrive in about 20 minutes. After me calling the office back an hour later that went unanswered, the technician finally arrived a little after 1pm. As for price, $700+ seems steep for the work and time involved. But, with the $75 service call fee that would have been required anyway (and not credited toward work performed), it would have probably cost as much in total if I'd sent him away and called someone else.

Dr. Drain did a fantastic job on our toilet and our bathroom faucet installation! Quick, efficient service, very friendly and informative, and at a price much lower than other master plumber's quoted. Ted got here on time, told us what the problem was, answered all of our questions and completed the work beautifully leaving no mess behind. We liked the work and him so much we just called to ask him to clear a kitchen drain for us. We highly recommend him!

Repair person was on time, effectively communicated issues and perform the job efficiently

...he diagnosed the problem as being located in the well house behind my house, as opposed to being in the house itself. I followed his advice to place a heater in the well house to thaw the system, and it worked. I wasn't charged anything because he didn't have to come out to the property. Next time I do need someone to come out to the property for plumbing problems, this is who I'm going to call.

They refused to do the work. Apparently, the obstacles created by the City and County Inspections Department have this organization over a barrel. There was no desire to address my concerns or to help me deal with the issues I clearly defined before they even responded to my inquiry. Dr. Drain infers they are a quality service company. I question their commitment to service.

Plumber was available next day. Was very professional and worked quickly. He also explained everything he was doing and the cost associated with each project. It was a little expensive, but expected for the short notice.

I described the fact that we got short bursts of hot water interspersed with long periods of cold or barely warm water and mentioned that we had installed a recirculating pump in the furthest bathroom when we had installed the water heater. Dr. Drain immediately identified failure of its non-return valve as the likely cause of our hot water problems and removed the pump. This has taken care of our problems and probably saved us over $1000 in the cost of a new water heater. I was delighted to find a plumber who considers the whole picture and was not just interested in selling a new water heater. He has my highest recommendation.

Excellent all around service from Crystal scheduling the appointment to the plumber Ryan whom was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, & professional. I would highly recommend this company & I plan on using them for any future plumbing needs.

They did a great job with communication and took the time to inspect the entire house. Would hire them again.

Ryan was wonderful. He spent the whole day connecting, disconnecting and adjusting our menagerie of pipes under our house. He explained very thoroughly the issues we had as well as taking pictures. Really professional (especially since I wasn't going under the house!!) . The water was only off a few times and Ryan kept the house clean as he needed to come in and out. Now, our water is flowing much better and I don't fear waking up with a broken pipe. Great service.

The gentleman who was dispatched, Ryan, was very professional. He explained the problem and my options in an articulate, patient and polite manner. The faucet was promptly installed, and the worksite was left in a clean and tidy state. I will definitely call this company for any of my future plumbing needs. The owners of the company should feel privileged to have Ryan in their employ. The service cost was $273 + tax. A 5% coupon was applied bringing the total to 278.80. I paid using a check as there was a 5% fee for using a credit card

Dr. Drain Plumbing has provided excellent service in every category every time I've needed them over many years. I recently moved outside of their service area. I called them when I noticed that a cold water faucet was not working. They responded to my concern and came to assess the problem. In this case, the problem was not with the plumbing, but with the washing machine. :-/ I was charged only a minimal fee. Dr. Drain has always been a company I wholeheartedly recommend!!

Ryan came by an hour after I called the main office and gave me an estimate. I told him that I wanted to shop around a bit (he handled this very graciously). I got prices from three more plumbers that afternoon, and his was still the best. He came back the same day to do the work, and also pointed out and talked me through a few other potential plumbing issues in the house.
