The service turned out perfect. He gave me a good alternative to a standard asphalt driveway that turned out to be the perfect solution. I found that he was trying to find the best solution for me instead of selling me the most expensive product.

These guys paved my driveway with a turn around in one morning. I happened to be home from work so I was able to observe them and they worked like a well-oiled machine and did a great job. There price was considerably better that another highly rated provider on this site (by over $1500) and the other provider had all kinds of stipulations in their contract essentially stating that if they estimated materials incorrectly, the financial burden would be mine. Ace had none of that. If they did not estimate the correct amount of materials, that was on them (which I think it should be). Also the other provider said I needed some special things done to the driveway for drainage which would have made me lose part of my flower bed and one of my steps up to the house. Ace said that was not necessary, that the grade would drain fine the way it was. We have had some heavy rains since the driveway was completed and the run off is fine, there are no drainage problems. Really happy that I bothered to get another estimate and went with Ace. I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly. ,

The Ace Asphalt company seal-coated my asphalt driveway today and did a nice job. Jim Stevens, one of the principals in this family-owned company, is personable and professional. He arrived on time, gave a fair price, and performed the work as agreed. He and his team cleaned the driveway, filled the cracks, and sealed it. My neighbors were impressed and had him do their driveway, too.

Jim Stevens, one of the owners, was at my house ready to start right on time. The job took exactly the amount of time that he estimated, which was less than a full day. The look of the driveway was beautiful and exactly what I was told to expect. The areas around the driveway were undamaged and in many places looked better than before the job was started.

Provided prompt and professional service. Very pleasant to work with. Were willing to change the scope of the job when we ran into problems with permits and come up with good solutions. Pricing was very reasonable

Once we agreed on the price, Ace was at our house within two days to do the job. We are very pleased with the results. Jim was easy to work with and was very responsive, unlike another paving company which failed to call me back despite three attempts.

We haven't done the work yet. They quoted us $10000.00 for the job. It's not that we are not going with them. We had some construction being done on the property and some things had to be done for the new garage. We didn't want to do the paving until all the construction was done. Now it's too cold for them to do it so we will have them do it in the spring. I just had a figure in my mind as to what it would cost. We have a very long driveway. I thought they were very reasonable. The sales guy who visited was very professional and seemed very thorough. He really emphasized the quality of their work. He did give us a couple of other projects to go look at.

Terrific. Ted and Jim were both on site. Excellent, experienced crew. They were on-time and worked through lunch 'till finished. Our drive now looks new again!

After receiving four estimates for the driveway job, I chose Ace. They were not the highest or the lowest bid, but they had several factors that swayed me to them. The two brothers, Ted and Jim Stevens, were almost continuously on-site with the work crew. Their focus is on residential driveways, and therefore their machinery is scaled for smaller areas and makes cleaner, tighter maneuvers on yards and under bushes and trees. They explained how they would finish the edges of the driveway with hand-compacting tool that sets the edge at a 45-60degree angle. They work continuously -- larger firms sometimes bring in a gravel crew or an asphalt crew which makes for gaps or delays in completing the job. They have a BetterBusinessBureau accreditation and at the time of my job their rating was A+. They were prompt and cleaned up the areas appropriately by back raking or filling with dirt.
