Mike Taylor did not return my ph. call to meet w me, evaluate my roof situation. I was never contacted. A yr. ago, I contacted him re: basement remodel, he came to my home, looked over the situation, said he was very busy, he was booked through the new yr. (2017). He was personable, seemed knowledgeable, experienced, but I never received an estimate for the job. After 2 attempts to reach him, I gave up. I will not call him again.

He never came and never called back so we gave the job (remodel two bathrooms and other work) to Riley and Son.

.It went well overall. Only glitch was a scheduling miscommunication which we quickly resolved.

Because it has been several years, I can't remember details. It was sometime in April, and we decided to put an attic fan in our attic. Several months before he put new attic stairs in for us. It didn't take long for him to put the fan in, and my mom was surprised the cost was so low. Of course, she is from NJ where things cost more.

Overall it was very nice to work with Mike. He stayed within budget and always lets you know what's going on and when he's going to be there. Of all the crews I've ever worked with, his guys are by far the best at cleaning up after themselves and not making a mess.

The whole process went smoothly. Mike is a licensed plumber/electrician and contractor. Because of this very few people come into your house and he is able to do everything. They cleaned up after they were done. His initial quote was a complete quote as opposed to all other quotes which were open ended($10,000...but if we need to change the wiring after the wall comes down that will be extra...etc...etc). We have since used him for numerous additions and changes to our house. This includes lighting changes/rewiring, plumbing changes. He is very honest and punctual. His quality of work is excellent. We call him for everything!!

We had some furniture stored in the basement. They had to move the furniture around. Dig up concrete to install a pump to take out waste for the kitchen and bathroom. They laid tile, roughed in the rooms, hung the sheet rock. They installed the plumbing in the bathroom and kitchen. They hung and placed cabinets and they even painted for us. They painted and prepared the house we sold for the buyers, and I think the price for this was included in the amount I stated.

I strongly recommend Mike and his son Matt for their great work. They were extremely easy to work with. This was the first renovaton my wife and I have worked on so we were novices. Mike was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and helpful. Whenever we asked him for help, even if it was just for advice, Mike was right there. We are very pleased with the quality of his work and craftmanship. He could do either electrical or plumbing work (he's licensed in both fields) or could take on an entire project as a general contractor. I can not recommend this guy highly enough.
