Housemaster Of The Triad

We hired House Master to do the inspection of this house we decided to purchase. At the time all seemed OK with the inspection. Eight months later a wire on the outside of the house corroded and shut down the AC. An easy fix, but I wish Scott had pointed out that the outside wire was not in a conduit during the inspection. When he inspected the house, he said call if I ever felt something was missed and he would cover it. When I contacted him about this he stated that because he noted the breaker for this line, the electrician who repaired the breaker should have noticed the outside wire without conduit. He also stated that he DOES NOT inspect to any building code and not responsible for missing the problem. I am very unhappy with this response and cannot recommend this service. I think you have to be careful that any inspector works primarily for the real estate agents who need the deal to go through.
